Hotel Tequila Cancun

Stayed there because of the proximity to the airport. Ended up staying my last night there too. Amazing home cooked food! Beautiful location and pool. On the main road, but walled in so the traffic doesn't bother you. Room was well set up and clean. Mariano is an amazing host, just be prepared with some Spanish! Thanks again and I will definitely stay here again!!

Nothing fancy but the rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable and the bedding is also nice. It's right on the highway and I'm a light sleeper but there's very little noise after 10pm. Food choices are limited but what they serve is exceptionally good at a very reasonable price. They do have limited drinks available as well (no wine). The staff is absolutely fantastic and the service is amazing. The place is about 10-15 min to Puerto Morelos which is a lovely town with a gorgeous beach right downtown. When I asked about the best way to get there they said they offer a shuttle which was free although tips are always gratefully appreciated. They dropped us off and asked what time we wanted to come back. We said 5:00 and they pulled up right at 5:01 with a big smile. You may not want to spend weeks here as there is nothing at all that you can walk to however a great place very close to the airport for when you arrive and when you depart. They also offer a shuttle to the airport as well. It really is a unique place and the staff make it even better. They even whistled and called all the spider monkeys for us to see. which came swinging throught the trees, babies and all. For the price I would highly recommend this place

Quaint little place (12 rooms), close to the airport, unique tequila offerings at the bar, friendly & knowledgeable staff. We only stayed 1 night on our way to further explore Mexico.

It was too close to the street so we could hear the voice of the cars passing by . Also there where repairs been done ti the entrance which made it unsafe to enter

What a gem, Fantastic pool area, large , clean room, comfy bed and good shower. We really love this place, and it has a free shuttle to the airport.

Lovely oasis 10 minutes from the Cancún Airport. Room was well appointed and bedding was super comfortable. Quiet, well hidden spot. Breakfast was delicious. Pool and hammock area are very relaxing. Great place to stay as your first night before traveling the Yucatán or your last night before heading home.

Wild Monkeys in the trees and very conveniently located. Staff went above and beyond opening security gat at 5am.

Our stay was like home away from home, and the staff made us feel like we were with family. Always aiming to do right by you and helping make you feel welcome and appreciated. The BEST tequila bar I've ever seen, and Sergio was the resident expert.

Hotelito rústico con servicios básicos. Habitaciones amplias con clima, pero se sienten húmedas y con olor a mohos. Baño pequeño que le falta mantenimiento. De la regadera solo salía agua caliente. Restaurante con menú muy limitado.

Für eine Nacht kann man es da schon aushalten. Die Bettwäsche war leider nicht sehr sauber. Die Möbel sehr abgewohnt. Es riecht auch sehr muffig, aber das ist für diese Region halt auch normal. Die Klimaanlage ist sehr laut. Die Außenanlage ist wirklich sehr schön. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet.

It’s nice place but it didn’t have any hot water, no one around the office or property to get any assistance, the toilet and shower has really low pressure

Es una propiedad cerca del aeropuerto, sobre carretera principal. Buen precio, y limpio. El A/C no funcionó así que en la noche utilizamos el ventilador y abrimos ventanas. Y por este inconveniente al día siguiente el desayuno fue por cuenta del hotel. Personal muy amable. Es una buena opción de hotel de paso.

The hotel grounds are quaint, cute and very well maintained. The rooms were very clean but very basic. The beds were comfortable. The owners were charming and the food at the cafe very good.

NO HOT WATER!! Our room smelled like pure bleach, couldn’t spend 5 minutes in it without a headache

We did understand that the kitchen was gonna be closed, but some snacks would have been nice to be able to have, for example crisps or nuts. The garden was very nicely decorated, the breakfast was nice, staff was friendly. Spacious room, smelled a bit damp and moldy though. Located next to noisy road.

L'hôtel étant à côté de l'autoroute, on entend le bruit de l'autoroute jour et nuit. En plus, il n'y a pas d'autobus ou de taxi qui s'y arrêtent. Mais l'hôtel est propre et il y a une piscine.

The room was great. Tv needs American channels especially if they are part of the tourist area. Nobody really speaks English so it was hard to translate. The lights were off half the day with no WiFi and no phone services. The WiFi wasn’t as strong.

I love the people who work there

This place was great! I highly recommend it. Its a very relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle but still very accessible to the airport, Cancun, and my favorite Puerto Morelos. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly and accommodating! They provided me w a free ride to Puerto Morelos and even came back to pick me up a few hours later! Last but not least they took me to the airport after my stay and it was just a short 10 minute ride away! Im so glad I found this place and ill definitely be back!!

Do not stay here. Communication is terrible. COULD NOT FIND THE PROPERTY and was not able to contact the property directly (because they did not answer the phone). Arrived after midnight and took a cab to the middle of nowhere, based on the hotels.com map and ended up paying more in cab fare than the price of the room. They would not provide a refund. Absolutely would NOT recommend this place.

Staff is wonderful. Only problem is the Google maps shows the property is more south. The map is incorrect. The hotel is very nice.

It is a cute little hotel. The rooms are clean. The bed was wonderful. The shower was okay. The best thing about the place though, was the food. We had both dinner and breakfast there and both were delicious. The only negative was that it was hard to find. Coming from the airport, you have to drive past it, do a U turn and go back. I suggest signage on both sides of the road.

We arrived at the property yesterday to find it directly on a major highway. The photos shared through Expedia are incredibly deceiving. The restaurant faces the highway, as did our bedroom. I walked out as quickly as I walked in and booked myself elsewhere. Travellers beware.

The restaurant is the true gem of this property!! Amazing food. Located off the highway, transportation is difficult. We were able to utilize hotel staff to transport to the airport. Property itself is well maintained. Rooms cleans and has a few water bottles which is always appreciated

We stayed for 1 night before heading to the Moon Palace for the rest of our vacation. It was a quiet and clean room with limited but good food options.

This had its share of missing ‘things’ (no milk or cream for coffee, cool shower, communication issues as we both massacred each others’ language!), but that is to be expected in many countries that aren’t Canada. Overall, I booked it because it was what I was looking for: near the airport, not a resort, small but with a pool, cure bar and decor, food (tho’ too much meat for a vegetarian- good thing I love rice & beans!). Reception/wait staff were kind and helpful. Room was great. Comfy bed! Since I got ripped off that the airport to get to the hotel, it was a much-needed bonus to have them give me a ride back. Gracias!
