The staff does a great job keeping up with cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel also offers great amenities such as free guest laundry, breakfast and pool. The parking area is also gated which is a plus. The staff was attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton while in New Orleans.

Cost 45 bucks to park YOURSELF and gates on the parking are don’t even work… rooms are already expensive COME ON HELP OUT SOMEWHERE FOR PARKING AT LEAST SINCE LOTS NOT EVEN SECURE.

Nice place to stay. the bed mattress was ok pillows were not so good. Parking wasn't the greatest upgraded to onsite lot at 40 dollars a night i thought was a little excessive price to pay.

The property itself was great, clean and safe. One of the elevators broke down twice during our stay. However my biggest issue with this property is that the two options for parking are either street parking where cars have been broken into in the past for free, or to pay $40 per day to leave the car for valet parking so they can put it in their inhouse lot behind a gate and secured with cameras.

Carpet was disgusting. Once you walked on it, your feet or shoes would stick the tile floor in the bathroom. Everything else was great, but please don’t rent this room out again until the carpet issue is addressed.

Terrible experience! The staff was meh. The bathroom toilet was incorrectly installed and leaning to one side with a toilet seat that was too small for the toilet. Screaming from the huge cockroaches in the room. We actually left our luggage outside in our garage to insure we wouldn’t bring them inside our house after we returned home. Expensive. Almost $400 for a 2 night stay with valet parking. Only bright spot was the breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel. We’re not tourists. Booked to attend a wedding in the city. Looks as though they renovated an abandoned building near the quarter. Vines and vegetation still visible along the roof eaves.

The hotel was very conveniently located near the French Quarter. We were able to walk to all our tours that we had booked. Breakfast was very good with many options. The only negative was that housekeeping services are offered every other day. I don't mind if towels and sheets are not changed daily, but it would be nice to have the bed made daily.

The hotel was super clean and everything was as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking to the French quarter in the daytime was okay but in the late afternoon it started becoming a little worrisome. There were homeless everywhere starting one block after the hotel and continuing for blocks until French quarter area. Even so no one bothered us . I feel if you just walk quickly and are aware of your surroundings you should be okay.

The lady, Sonjia, that checked us in was so extremely nice and always smiled, despite how busy it was. Everytime we saw her, she made a point to say and have a good day. Same with the guy who fixed our TV. Rooms were very clean, food was great and our stay was a good one.

Great location -and fairly clean… but we had a shower that wasn’t cleaned (hair shavings in shower). Didn’t contact the hotel due to busy schedule and just dealt with it. I’m sure it being unclean was an accident.

Appreciated friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed, cleaning & quiet. Concerns were broken phone & blind, no room safe as advertised so had to carry my work laptop around which was unfortunate, wifi dependent on setting up Hilton membership. Breakfast was mostly junk food with few healthy options. Shower head on opposite end from temperature controls. Everything seemed to be done with the cheapest possible option. Location is just outside of French Quarter on the side furthest from most public transit transit options & a healthy walk to most sites.

The location was excellent! Very close to Frenchman St., Cafe du Monde, Jackson Square and the French Quarter. All walkable. The room was very comfortable. The only downside was the super-slow elevator. We ended up taking the stairs every time.

Very enjoyable stay. The room was huge and loved the balcony, beds were very comfortable. Very close to downtown and the Quarter but far enough to avoid the crowds and noise. Free breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Safe and convenient parking. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel overall, I give it 4 stars because of the noise in the surrounding area. It’s in an alley where’s there’s a lot of industry and also a train that passes by in the mornings. If you’re an early bird (6-7 am) then you will be fine, if not then you’ll be pretty annoyed. Staff was great though, front desk ladies were extremely helpful and kind. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is newer (only 2 years old). The vibe is fun and inviting when you enter the hotel. Our room was large, the HVAC (air conditioning) kept up the pace on the hot days. The windows were large and have darkening shades. The rooms were very soundproof. The front staff was amazing. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and did their best to accomodate our requests. A special shout out to William who provided us with recommendations for food and experiences. He greeted us warmly everytime we walked by. It's not often that you feel like the staff is "family" but that was my experience at this property.

Called hotel to inform them of flight being delayed front desk advise me I had until 2 am to check in.Arrived at hotel reservations had been cancelled,had to wait to find out what the issue was no one knew what happened.Check in everything was fine I had to call front desk to see when someone would be coming to clean the room change towels o was informed oh your room is on the schedule for cleaning today, fyi know one ever came to clean the room.At checkout advise the manager her only response was oh I can give you some Hilton points a week later know points and know return called.

The hotel was lovely. When we arrived on May 20, at around 4:00 pm the girl at the desk was very nasty, rude and sarcastic. The next day on the 21 st, the girl who worked the day shift was so kind and sweet very helpful.

I would have rated my stay higher, but my traveling companion and I experienced some very uneven guest service here. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a smile and welcome from the woman at the front desk. In a later encounter at the front desk with a different staff member, we felt like we were an interruption or annoyance to her. Most discouraging, however, was the way my companion was treated by a security guard one evening. He went to the first floor to look for some paper plates and utensils. The breakfast serving area doors were open, so he went in to look for them. The security guard approached him not with “How can I help you?” but in an aggressive manner as if he were an outside intruder. It wasn’t a very cool encounter. We stayed at this Hampton Inn in March 2023, shortly after it opened. It’s a beautiful facility. We encountered friendly and happy staff across the board. Don’t let service standards slip as the years go by.

We enjoyed our stay. But not having to wait 40 minutes to check in. We were told room wasn't ready. Lady at check in was rude. We lost key,went and asked for another 1. Not good customer service when you're trying to talk to her and she's eating a snack. And then she picked up package,got some more and continued to eat.😩

Three-night stay while visiting the French Quarter. This hotel provides the highest level of customer service across the board with all of their staff but a special mention goes to Andrea, who was extremely welcoming upon my arrival. It’s a quiet hotel and the A/C in my room worked great - very important with the oppressive heat and humidity outside. So I was able to get the respite needed when I needed it. Modern decor throughout the hotel. My room was clean with good wi-fi. Only complaint about the room was the toilet seat (too small) didn’t match the toilet, which was awkward. Typical hot breakfast offerings for a Hampton Inn. Located within a couple blocks of the Quarter - convenient for walking if you don’t mind navigating around an unsightly property in the next block and a couple homeless individuals occupying the city sidewalk. Unfortunately, this goes with the territory in the French Quarter.

The staff was remarkable. William, the front desk attendant went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. I was co corner about staying so close to the French Quarter but we felt very safe and the hotel is quiet. We will be back!

The good: Just a block from Frenchman st, and two blocks from French market. You can walk along the river to Jackson Square in 15-20 min. Hotel is new and clean. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good. The Bad: Not in the French quarter, it’s technically Marigny.. The neighborhood was not what we expected, and there were homeless people using IV drugs openly in between the hotel and anywhere you’d like to go. It didn’t feel that safe, and because it wasn’t FQ there weren’t as many people around to make you feel safer. Pedestrians don’t seem to have the right of way, and so walking across the busy street was scary, especially at night with slow walkers. We had a river view room, which overlooked the river, but also a power station and a TON of trash. If I had been with my children instead of adults, I would’ve changed hotels. Hoping the neighborhood gets some love, because the hotel itself was well kept and new.

Hotel itself was wonderful - comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. However, you will pay the $40 or so to valet your car because the neighborhood is not one where you'd feel safe parking on the street (if you could even find space). Don't pay extra for a balcony room because the view is an electrical plant. Walking distance to Bourbon street, but you will pass through a gauntlet of homeless/passed out people on your way.

Close to the French Quarter and Frenchman St. Trolley is right around the corner. Parking was safe. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Staff was phenomenal. Building is new. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool and parking area.
