Great location, helpful staff. Looked nothing like the website pictures but clean, quiet and comfortable. A bedside table on both sides of the bed would be beneficial rather than just on one side Tiny biscuit on the hospitality tray though

Property was comfortable and quiet - ideal for work stay. Initial communication regarding £100 deposit could have been more transparent at initial booking stage. It’s reasonable that guests wouldn’t read the entire terms of business before booking.

We had a nice two room suite. The bedroom was quite spacious, with a clean modern bathroom. The kitchenette was in a sitting room and had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The room was well-equipped for two people - breakfasts and lunches were easy to deal with. The building is in a great location. Classic stone buildings in a neighbourhood with excellent pubs and a good choice of restaurants. The train station is less than five minutes away on foot. Edinburgh castle is twenty minutes away in the other direction. It’s totally safe at night - the hotel abuts the local police station.
