Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing stay at Adagio. We booked a studio with a double bed but were given a twin room instead, meaning my husband and I had to sleep separately on our first night. Having to sleep in separate beds when you have specifically booked a double room is completely unacceptable. The room also wasn’t cleaned particularly well, with various things broken or poorly repaired, which made the overall condition feel neglected. The staff were not particularly friendly, helpful or accommodating when we raised our concerns. There was also a serious security concern with the underground car park - you could access the lifts and hotel floors from the basement without needing a key card, whereas entering via the ground-floor reception required one. If I was travelling alone as woman, I would have found this extremely unsettling and unsafe. To make matters worse, when the fire alarm went off during the night, there was no reception staff available to reassure or assist guests. Overall, this was a really poor experience from start to finish. After reading the reviews before booking, our experience was completely different. We would not recommend this hotel and certainly would not stay here again.

Stay was okay, air con was good. Comunication before stay was poor - does not really respond to messages and no answer when trying to ring reception.

We had stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and had a great experience. This time we booked 4 rooms and had a terrible experience. The rooms were not kept clean, the floors looked dirty and sheets, pillows, etc all looked worn and dubbed cover was actually torn. The rooms service used to. D more frequent and now it is only once a week. The AC did not work and the rooms were boiling hot reaching room temperature of 85+ degrees. When you would tell the staff, they just ignored you. It was a very unpleasant experience.

First come first serve for parking with a few right outside and the rest in an underground garage. Got there at 11:30 and there were plenty. Very friendly check in staff. Room was good although ‘interesting’. Not enough electrical sockets and those that were were poorly located. Hard floor, no carpets which doesn’t give it a homely feeling. Beds ok but quite small. Didn’t eat but plenty of options to take back to the room if needed.
