Not luxury by any means especially when you look around the tall skyscrapers around the area. But it was affordable and convenient with free parking. Beach is 2 min walk which is excellent as there was no parking at the beach. Good dining options within 5 mins walk. Property management was good as when we had an issue with parking they helped us immediately via phone. Apartment itself is small and old school but ok for short stays. For the price paid we couldn’t have done better and we were pleased with the stay.

Third floor, elevator not working. Cold at night, couldn’t get the heating to work. Old apartment. The area was nice and has a Parking spot. Nice beach quite close.

The pool was closed in the buildings under construction or upgrading, but it was a great location. People were nice. It was quiet and relaxing. Perfect for a work trip.

It’s an average property don’t expect anything’s more than that. The location is great close to the beach, food and groceries. The apartment was clean and had most things you could need, however, the walls are made of paper. Neighbors are LOUD & very inconsiderate with bothering others. The last night our right neighbor pulled a full on party until late in the night making it impossible to sleep, you can hear the garbage truck drill your ear at 6 am because the trash cans are right beside your bedroom window. The bathroom didn’t have any towel hanger. Moreover the entire apartment had 2 hangers which kind of mutes the point of having a respectable walking closet. The fire alarm in the apartment would go off every time we turned on the toaster, yes every time. We didn’t even try the oven but I’m guessing that would’ve been a bad idea. The pool is nice if you want to refresh especially in winter where the days are shorter and the ocean is colder. If I was in a Miami again in a tight budget I would still consider this place but not for more than a couple of days.

I've stayed at this property many, many times over the last few years. Unfortunately it seems to not be the same. There were roaches in the apartment, the AC system was leaking water. We wanted to use the laundry machines of which there's 6 different laundry rooms but none had both machines functional, we had to wash in one floor & go to another floor to dry. Unlike the past the parking is no longer free. Only after confirming & payment did we get an email about there being an additional daily charge for parking.

Was woken up by cleaners with out knocking when we were not even checking out. Pool closed and we did not get any emails.(we book with a pool because husband has a bad back and cant walk far) staff finally got back to us and said a beach was 5 minutes away! We would of cancelled if we had known.location was good, shopping close.room was ok for price.staff communication sucks!!!!!

Where do I start- everything about this property was horrible. To say that it is old and worn out is to say nothing. Rooms reek with cheap smell of wash solution. There is mold on the walls, dirty windows are covered with cheap synthetic drapes. Bed linen were polyester, towels still had tags on them and were never washed. And of course there were roaches... Do not believe good reviews!!! The area is great but this property is beyond terrible.

It is a clean apartment, the host takes excellent care of hygiene and the bed and towels are super clean. No odors inside. Fresh and clean. I am happy to have booked this apartment for my 2 days stay.

The floor was not clean at all. I noticed hair and pieces of trash everywhere. The beds and linens were fine. Neither of the sinks drained well at all. I didn't feel super safe in this area. The photos of the property were a bit deceiving. I also did not get the check-in procedures in my email until 10 minutes after check-in time. I messaged the property twice asking for this information, once 2 hours ahead of check-in time and once after check-in time.

VERY BAD. There is black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, lots and lots of small flies. During my stay I killed three cockroaches, because of this I had to check EVERYTHING before leaving to make sure there were no cockroaches. I understand that this is an economy apartment, but even such a room needs to be kept clean, without mold, flies and cockroaches. I hope that all this will be fixed.

I did not book the cheapest unit but definitely looks like that’s what I hot. I know because I stayed there 5 times. This time I was at street level, front facing and the patio door didn’t lock, neither did the accessible bathroom window. Since the’s no safe in the units, It felt very insecure. The AC unit was leaking profusely on the dining room/living room floor - I woke up to a flood. My complaint was met with an immediate offer to switch unit. I can’t complain too much otherwise given the very competitive price and convenience in Sunny Isles. But this is basically a no frill deal one bedroom apartment. The mattresses in both unit were uncomfortably soft and springy. The stretch sofa was actually more comfortable. The pool has been repaired and is almost reopened, but it’s taken forever.

On the positive side, the property was clean and well-located: close to a public beach and restaurants. However, we had many challenges in our short stay. The apt was in a complex and the adjoining walls were thin; Night 1, we could clearly hear the TV next door until 11pm when they shut it off. We had been told in our opening instructions not to bother the neighbors. Night 2, we lost wifi for the night. They corrected next morning. Night 3 is the doozy: around 9pm, my wife heard dripping in the bathroom. The toilet tank had a crack from the top of the bowl to the bottom that was leaking all over the floor! We shut off the water, cleaned up the mess with towels and went the night without a toilet. To their credit, someone came in next morning with a replacement toilet. We were out when they came. When we returned, the toilet had been replaced BUT all the filthy towels we had used were still laying in the bathtub.... Maybe worst of all, without me prompting a response, no one ever apologized for the situation or thanked us for the clean-up.

Location, location, location! Grat location, convient to beach. Check in was confusing, property was listed as " Sunny Isles Apartment ", rental agency listed it as Miarentals. We drove passed the property a couple times looking for somethiing with that name. But the actual sign in front of the property is Salem House Condominium confusing! No one at the property for check in, virtual check in via email, not an issue. Upon entering the apartment, the place smelled clean and looks clean. The apartment is old, adequately equipted for a one night stay. Apartment furnished with low end dorm type furnishing. For a one night stay, that wasn't an issue for us. But the issue with this place is, none of the windows or the sliding glass door have working locks - UNSAFE! Property manager should address these isssues before renting out this property. I have photos, but will not post them. Will give host the oportunity to make the necessary repair.

Horrible bedding, the worse cheap pillows I even slept on, polyester bedding that you don’t even sleep on. All apartment looks very bad especially for the price. Location is amazing. Communication was good. I couldn’t sleep till 12 am I heard neighbors talking and people knocking the door.

TOO noisy, not possible to get some sleep even at 2 am. Walls are so thin you hear the neighbors talking even if they’re not speaking loudly. They also got cheap windows so you can hear everything outside, the garbage truck at 6 am, people talking outside, renovation downstairs, roof repairs, etc. It was horrible. However, the appartement was clean.

The pictures don’t even come close to what it really looks like. It’s very run down. That was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. It took me a week to recover. The balcony was filthy and slanted down severely. There was shutters on our sliding glass door which we couldn’t open so we couldn’t get sunlight in.

The floor was not clean at all. I noticed hair and pieces of trash everywhere. The beds and linens were fine. Neither of the sinks drained well at all. I didn't feel super safe in this area. The photos of the property were a bit deceiving. I also did not get the check-in procedures in my email until 10 minutes after check-in time. I messaged the property twice asking for this information, once 2 hours ahead of check-in time and once after check-in time.

At mostly every place the checkout time is 11am but ok at Sunny Isles Apartments it’s 10am. So already you are leaving an hour earlier than you normally would anywhere else then ontop of that the cleaning crew shows up at 9am with shopping carts and about a crew of 20 people all over the building on every floor so as a guest you feel pressured like you have to run out of the place because they are literally stalking right outside the door of every apartment. So if the checkout time is 10am which is already an hour earlier tha. Any place else why is the cleaning crew showing up at 9am ? Why not show up at 10am which is the actual checkout time when people are supposed to leave instead of trying to pressure people into rushing out of the place before 10am ? They charge you 35 dollars per hour if you need to stay last 10am but yet they don’t give you 35 dollars an hour back for rushing you out of the place before 10am. People do not want to have cleaning crews stalking outside an hour before their checkout time when already the checkout time at 10am is earlier than any place else. Try to bring this up to the lady that says is the manager and she doesn’t even want to listen to you and instead tells you that the cleaning crew can show up to the property at anytime they want and to not tell her how run her business was rude wanting to argue instead. Tells you all you need to know about her customer service skills. Say checkout is 9am then instead of 10am if you are going to do that

The location was great and walkable !! The unit was nice and the internet worked wonderful!! The issue was safety and communication !!! The windows hod holes with clear tape over them and two windows did not lock at all. I called and they said I would be fine instead of accommodating my daughter and I . So I basically got no sleep for fear of our safety . All they said was they were repairing windows .

Location, location, location! Grat location, convient to beach. Check in was confusing, property was listed as " Sunny Isles Apartment ", rental agency listed it as Miarentals. We drove passed the property a couple times looking for somethiing with that name. But the actual sign in front of the property is Salem House Condominium confusing! No one at the property for check in, virtual check in via email, not an issue. Upon entering the apartment, the place smelled clean and looks clean. The apartment is old, adequately equipted for a one night stay. Apartment furnished with low end dorm type furnishing. For a one night stay, that wasn't an issue for us. But the issue with this place is, none of the windows or the sliding glass door have working locks - UNSAFE! Property manager should address these isssues before renting out this property. I have photos, but will not post them. Will give host the oportunity to make the necessary repair.

We stay two days in Sunny Isles apartments in Florida , we check in late at night , we call the property representative , and expedia as well. (Booking was through expedia.) Both of them try to help us in order to access the apartment. They responded immediately, so they sent us all the instructions in a short time. , most important thing was the fact that even though it was late hours, they responded! And they help us out! (We extended our stay by 3 more days. till 17th Aug) The building is not new , but the apartment is well maintained, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is very kind, treats us well, and is very professional! I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with MIA rentals that made it impossible for me to even stay at the property. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the inadequate lighting around the premises. It was so poor that I couldn't locate my room number, which was not only frustrating but also raised concerns about safety and accessibility. Communication was excellent, however, I would have appreciate the instructions earlier in the day to have a little peace of mind, to be honest, I was getting very nervous by not having the Check-in instructions at least 2 hours before the check-in. After instructions arrived, thigs were really easy, from the parking, to the apt #, to the floor where it was located, to the CODE for the door. Apt was clean and fresh, thank God AC was already on. Very spacious, with plenty of towels for the bath, toilet paper, Beach Chair and umbrella. The kitchen was "ok", it had from the fridge, to the stove to the microwave, it also had knives and other utensils, unfortunately there was not Paper Towel, so I had to run to a gas station to get napkins, other than that everything looked fine. Dining room was extremely spacious, the bed was very comfortable, bedsheet seemed clean. So I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a mini get-away/staycation.

Was woken up by cleaners with out knocking when we were not even checking out. Pool closed and we did not get any emails.(we book with a pool because husband has a bad back and cant walk far) staff finally got back to us and said a beach was 5 minutes away! We would of cancelled if we had known.location was good, shopping close.room was ok for price.staff communication sucks!!!!!

The property is a bit older but it is clean and it had everything we needed . It is close to the beach, restaurants, groceries, shopping centers. We never felt unsafe walking around. Two bedroom apartment that beats renting two hotel rooms for five people. I would definitely stay again.

Affordable rental options 5 min walking distance from beach, supermarket across the street, nice living space. Not fancy property though but for big family with kids it’s nice place for vacation. Only one problem we experienced it was with A/C didn’t work properly on first day we checked in. But it get fixed next day

The property is in the best area in Miami. The property itself is nothing fancy but it’s affordable, clean and safe. Parking is easy and assigned which is a plus. The only thing that can improve is there is no TV in the bedrooms to watch while laying down before falling asleep. Also, people should not be knocking on your door 15 minutes before checkin and should wait until after the 10am checkout time.

It was at a perfect location and you can’t beat the price for the area . That being said sometimes you get what you pay for. I requested a airport pick up. When I contacted the property because they ignored my messages from weeks ago . When I spoke to someone . I was told they did not do airport pickups . ( bait & switch) ? The sound of the rooms are paper thin and you can hear outside cars driving, horns , people talking, etc . A/C quit working and they addressed it with a quickness however it took two ties to fix it . I personally wouldn’t recommend or come back though we did have an amazing time !
