The water quality in the indoor pool is extremely poor. I recommend avoiding it.

Far end of town, breakfast was not very good. 1 Elevator was inoperative. Pool was cold for inside . Price for a candy bar. $4.00, pint ice cream $7.00. Way too high!!!!!

Our stay was very comfortable. The pool was nice and the water was warm. Our room was nice and quiet.

Seemed brand new, very clean. Walls extremely thin, could REALY hear the people above and to the side of us, felt like they were in the room:) Extremely small storage space, bathroom could have used shelves. Clean, easy to get to, easy distance from main attractions. Parking lot small and hard to navigate. People were nice and attentive.

The property was easy to find, and the parking lot was spacious. The property could use a grab bar near the toilet to assist the elderly.

I stay at this hotel several times a year. I like that it is safe and quiet. Plenty of parking. There’s a brand new Chic-Fil-A next to it. It is a close drive to Main St. I love that the check out time is at noon. Most hotels now-a-days are at 11am. They offer free breakfast in the lobby dining area from 6am - 10am. This is my go to hotel in Fredericksburg.

Everything was in very, very good order. The room is clean, well lighted, quiet, and roomy parking was close by. The air conditioner worked well the entire time we were there. We have no complaint.

This Fairfield Inn and Suites was not quite up to par with other Fairfield Inn and Suites where I have stayed. There were missing pieces of porcelain in the bathtub that my husband at first thought were insects or bugs. I had to obtain a tub mat from the front desk. I was told that a tub mat should have been in the room, 308. I asked if there was another room and was told there were none available. The hot and cold faucet in the sink were reversed. There was NO water pressure in the shower. The indoor pool was murky looking and I wouldn't get in. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, and couldn't have been nicer. Except for the lady working the breakfast area. She preferred to close the station early and treated replacing items like syrup as if they were her own. The location is great and near event locales and fairly easy to get to. The map to the city was a perfect draw. The city has lots of wineries to visit. I could manage to stay there again, if I HAD TO.

Njoyed our stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Clean workout area, & reasonably priced.

Decent hotel, spacious room for 5 of us. We like the “extra” living room space with another TV & sofa bed. Check in & out were smooth. We were disappointed that INDOOR POOL WAS CLOSED. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was the pool! The gym was SMALL but functional with free weights, consider hitting the gym before 8:30, bc it got too crowded with 4 ppl. The pullout bed had prior customer’s sheet & blanket. The fresh set in room didn’t have a sheet, only blanket & pillow. Mini fridge does not have a freezer. We liked the soap, shampoo, conditioner in bigger pump bottles, instead of those tiny bottles that are hard to squeeze. Breakfast was limited. Coffee only available for breakfast starting at 6:30am. Typical options of muffins, bread, bagels with butter, jelly, cream cheese, Nutella, & 3 types of cereals. Hot items were eggs and sausages with cheese, salsa, hot sauce, & pre made oatmeal with self-serve toppings. They had regular & light yogurts & 3 types of individual milk cartons (2%, skim, chocolate). NO WAFFLES OR PANCAKES. Fruit options were fresh strawberries & bananas. The strawberries were FRESH AND SWEET! NO JUICES, as the machine was out of order. Location is 7-min drive from Main st, with Walmart & HEB within 5-min drive.

Time for some upkeep, deeper cleaning, this property used to be Top knotch.

I liked that the hotel felt very new and clean. The location was very convenient to everything.

The room looked clean on the surface however the bath tub had dark patches on the caulking maybe mold. It just was not as clean as it could have been.

Nicely renovated hotel near downtown Fredericksburg. Free breakfast. Staff was extremely nice and hotel was exceptionally clean. Does a Bonvoy member proud.

This is a very nice hotel! Very clean and comfortable!!

Walls were thin so you could hear your neighbors and those in the floor above you. Breakfast was good. Nothing to walk to from the hotel. Front desk clerk upon arrival was not knowledgeable, all but 2 housekeepers had quit the week before , so until we complained, did not get room cleaned.Knob to turn bath to shower was very difficult to manipulate.

The room was clean and spacious. The water pressure was good. The air conditioning couldn’t keep up. The hallways were very warm and there was little relief in the room despite turning the unit cooler. The breakfast offering was adequate, nothing special.

The room was spacious and very quiet. It was also brand new. The man (staff) at the desk went over and above for me. Keep him.

The AC in our room really struggled to keep the room cool and dry.

We did a suite which was just about perfect for us and the bed was the best sleep we had on our vacation. If we head that way again we would like to stay there again!

No hot water on the property.

The hotel was clean. Our two-day stay was short. The room was adequate and what we expected, but the air conditioner was noisy.

Unfortunately, our stay was very quick. We booked 2 rooms for our stay. Both rooms were very clean, clean smelling, spacious and like new furniture and bedding. The restrooms were clean and big. The view from both rooms was very nice as well. Over all, our stay was very comfortable and had a restful night after a long trip.

Didn't stay. Car trouble. Tried calling Fairfield several times same afternoon made reservation to cancel as car now at shop. Recording said no one available to answer telephone and mail box full. Charged me for no show when both Expedia & I tried contacting them to cancel before 11:59 p.m. No more Fairfield's for us.

It very comfortable and close to things on our agenda. Staff was great, with special thanks to Devyn...he was very helpful.

All staff was very friendly and very helpful I would stay again and recommend for friends and family to stay there

Great service. Great staff except for the breakfast lady. She did not seem happy.

Staff was an issue on our stay. We had an aggressive call from the receptionist to keep the noise down … which was weird - we were watching tv and asleep by 9 pm. Our floor was quiet the most we heard was the elevator beeping. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Staff was slow and sometimes not at reception desk while guest waited to check in. Swimming pool was down. One day we had no clean towels or toilet paper. Guest services said they would bring to room . They never did. We used previous days towels and went to store to buy toilet paper. The next day house keeping left no bath towels. Had to go to guest services to get clean towels. Four people behind desk. I was ignored until I spoke up. Over charge my credit card. Tried to call hotel for two hours after we got home. They never answered the phone. I had to call corporate office to get help. I do not recommend this hotel.

Clean and the young man in the evening was very courteous and helpful. We will stay here again and recommend the Fairfield Inn.

This hotel was awesome. Extremely clean, great location if you are going shopping down Main St. There is a Walmart about one mile down the same street the hotel is on. AWSOME place to stay, great value as well.

I like the convenience of the proximity.

This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and super easy to get in and out of. Close buy to everything. Very comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Convenient to town and highway. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice new modern building.

The hotel is fairly new and very clean. Breakfast was not great. Pre-made soggy waffles. Weird, not sure if it was the new no meat meat, sausage. Not real eggs. Room could have used a few more towels. But overall it was a great experience and a very clean hotel.

Breakfast was a crap shoot , Maybe it would be there maybe not. You need to work on Breakfast, otherwise it was good.

Bed was comfortable, quiet and clean. Complimentary breakfast was hot and good

This city is growing. This is a newer hotel, well- placed for surrounding areas. I was disappointed with the price, gouging for Eclipse patrons, otherwise we would have spent 3 nights here. But it's a nice hotel! The breakfast staff was struggling as they ran out of bowls and spoons before we even arrived and couldn't get them restocked despite several requests. Not sure if they were completely out, or the one person was just too busy but we just used cups then. I wasnt thrilled at the seeming level of preparedness considering they were expecting so many people for the eclipse. But you can't help call-offs or no-shows. But aside from that, it's a nice hotel, nice rooms. Pleasant manager who was patient and helpful when we thought we left something in our room on checkout. I'd come back (when prices return to normal!)

I love staying here the only downfall is the breakfast is awful, honestly.

The staff needs to stay on top of the breakfast service. Everything was empty when we went down. They corrected the problem quickly, but there were parents with littles that weren't so happy.

Excellent bed and linens. Breakfast selection was above par. Staff was warm and welcoming. 2 thumbs up!

Pros: Clean, nice staff Cons: Hotel is dated. Breakfast needs serious work, definitely not what was displayed in pictures when booked online. Breakfast bar was understaffed and need to be better kept. Our room did not have the couch as displayed in pictures online. I was not impressed as the pictures portrayed one image and the reality was a different story.
