Aloft by Marriott New Orleans Downtown

Great modern hotel with nice big rooms. I had a corner room with three big windows, and everything was clean. The staff was friendly, and I have nothing to complain about. I'm very happy with the stay.

This room was nothing like the one they advertised! The room I got was with one window around the corner and not cosy at all. The hotel called this the room with the view! That was absolutely not true. And pictures was not as the room they have online. I can not recommend this hotel

I overlooked the mattress that had a large worn spot, and the stained sheets w/ hair. I was in New Orleans for Jazzfest, how bad could it be? I booked a corner view room so we could take in the sights. The blinds on one window only opened halfway. Still didn't complain. It was the non-functional toilet that triggered my first call. They tried to fix it and were still in progress when we left for the night. We came back later but the toilet handle wasn't connected to anything. After another failed attempt to fix it, we downgraded to another room. This room was better but the glass shower door lower hinge was separated from the wall. I unplugged the coffee maker and half the electrical outlet came out of the wall. There were other issues. The hotel offered a one-night credit, for the cheapest night, of course. How can you charge for a "city view" room when the blinds don't work? Too bad I can't attach my pictures.
