First off, cost me 280 some dollars to stay there overnight. I'd been driving for 9 hours .I was so looking forward to a hot tub. the Jets were weak. So I went to take a hot bath and it wouldn't change from shower to bathtub the nozzle thing was practically falling off. The next day when I asked about the hot tub they told me yeah the Jets they're not working very well so they know that so why aren't they fixing it?

I truely thought I was paying for the HILTON name. Room was clean, the rug was stained all over the place. Only 2 USB ports for charging electronics. Pillows were beyond flat. Pool was COLD, I MEAN COLD! The hot tub was COLD, the jets didnt even work! Stayed at cheaper hotels nicer then this, extremely disappointed

The housekeeping used a key to come into our room at 8:45am while we were sleeping, the pool and hot tub was closed and that’s why we booked it and the beds were so uncomfortable

At check in we were so happy with how nice and clean the lobby was. There was access to a bar and restaurant and a nice seating area. We got dinner and later took our kids to the hot tub and pool. First thing noticed was how loud the music was playing, we could hardly hear each other. The kids got into the pool and my wife and got into the hot tub. While there we started to notice that some of the bubbles was a film of grime on the surface, then looked to the pool and it was there too. We went back to the room, which overall was clean and nice… besides the bathroom. When coming in the toilet was running and wouldn’t flush. I had to list the lid to find the the plunger cap was completely disconnected (I just snapped it back into place). When I went to wash the filth of the hot tub off of me I quickly noticed the strip of mold spots all along the shower curtain. The yucky pool/hottub water and the nasty shower was enough for me to say that I’ll find another hotel for our trips to Akron (3-4 a year).

The Hilton Garden Inn Akron is a beautiful property. The room was clean and well kept it was warm and inviting as we walked in the bathroom was immaculate. It was a very nice experience checking in.

Lots of flies around buffet for breakfast (need more food covers) a few dirty plates in clean pile at buffet. Mold in the shower and pour water pressure in shower. Staff are very friendly!

Very nice hotel. Expansive lobby with very good restaurant/bar. Nice buffet or cooked to order breakfast available at a minimal price. Everything exceptionally clean. Great place to stay in Akron close to downtown theaters.

It was dirty. They switched my rooms and the room was still dirty but not as dirty as the previous one. There was a lady name momma glo. She came to clean my bathroom because I broke some glass. She cleaned that bathroom really well.

My room's door did not have a seal at the bottom, so some light crept under the door (not typically an issue, since I use an eye-mask to keep light down), but this made any noise in the hallway noticeable, especially late at night. For instance, despite being three rooms away from it, I could hear when the ice machine was being used, and when housekeeping began to work in the hall in the morning, I could hear them quite clearly.

You could not close the draps for privacy and the light coming thru the sheers. The beds were so hard it was almost like sleeping on the floor. The place was very pretty and clean but was not comfortable to stay in

When we arrived we had to wait 45 min after the 3:00 check in time. Should a free breakfast comp for the delay. Bathroom floor felt and strange. Had to wear shoes when going in. Never felt dry even the next day.

If you go to a concert at the Goodyear theater, you cannot beat the Hilton . It’s nice, and so close to the theater. Very walkable . Pretty much across a parking lot

Spent 4 nights there. Room was only cleaned once. The area has no nearby restaurants or fast food places. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Staff is very friendly. Beds are pretty firm. Shower/tub floors are very slick with no mat or texturing. This is a problem with all Hilton Garden Inns I guess (I slipped in another one for the same reason and broke my hand).

The hotel and staff are great. I question why I elected to pay $21 for breakfast and then was presented with an additional bill after eating? Either Hilton or Expedia has its wires crossed.

This HGI is an older model. That said, everything inside needs a refresh. They offer a breakfast bar and menu option but only when occupancy is high. I found it nearly impossible to get a hot cup of coffee. The rooms are fairly quiet. The grounds are well maintained and parking is good. Location for me was very convenient and next to a great ice cream and coffee joint. Average hotel at best. Do not pay for the morning meal on Expedia because the hotel does not recognize it. Expect a $10-15 charge for breakfast

The all you can eat buffet was sort of a joke. There were a few pieces of soggy bacon and some eggs oatmeal look disgusting and everything else you had to buy? I've had much better free continental breakfast at hotels that I paid less today at

The room was fine. The adjoining restaurant was very under staffed and the menu should have been limited to a few items that could have been made by the lonely cook. We wait a long time and then we had to leave. The server was great and did make us a nice salad. They were promoting the restaurant and should not have until they made adjustments to the menu or found some help in the kitchen.

We had a nice stay and the room was absolutely fine. Our only complaint was that the bar was running out of multiple items we were interested in. The bartender was very apologetic and suggested alternatives.
