The hotel is conveniently located, however the bar/restaurant were lively and the food was really good. The bar tender Kelley did a good job mixing drinks and Cherry talked to me for the longest time and it made travelling alone that much more pleasant. I will return.

Staff were uniformly kind and attentive, both to myself and to my son who was traveling with me. They consistently went the extra mile to engage with guests and facilitate any needs we might have. Shane the maintenance tech went so far as to loan me a cordless drill/driver to upgrade my walking stick, and Peter at the front desk was extremely helpful and cordial. A woman in the bar/restaurant (did not catch her name) spoke with me for some time about certain special requirements our sons share, which was useful for us both. The facility is exquisitely clean and well kept, and the (very dang good!) lobby coffee is kept fresh 24/7. I hit the fitness center all three days, and enjoyed that as well. My only pings are that I'd love to see more dumbbells in the fitness center, and the pool was closed during our stay. All in all, an excellent stay at a perfectly managed hotel.

This was a great place to stay in Covington. We would stay here again. The hotel is not far off the interstate, easy to access, and had ample parking. It felt safe and was quiet. There was a nice meeting/convention area on site, but we didn’t use it. The staff was nice and helpful. We ate breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. We prepaid at booking. The food was great, but it took a long time to get it. It was Sunday so maybe that was the issue. Copelands is within walking distance (delicious!), and there are ample other restaurants nearby. The facility was nice and well kept except the pool. It appears dirty at first glance, but it just needs resurfacing. It did have lots of dead bugs and tree debris floating in the water. The room was spacious. The bathroom was clean and nice. The water pressure was good. There was a coffee machine and mini refrigerator. The A/C worked well. The pillows were comfortable, but the bed was not. It was hard. For one night and everything else being great, it was tolerable. Fix that and the pool, and this place would be 5 stars.

Customer service was excellent. AC wall unit was very noisy (it sounded as if it was broken), but it\'s the end of December, so I was able to simply turn it off. The carpet was filthy looking (something you would not want to walk on barefoot). I think the "Superb" rating was misleading as I chose the highest-rated place for the night. I would rate it "Good" at best. A new carpet and a working AC/Heater unit would make it "Very good." A new carpet and central AC/Heater would make it "Superb".

I checked in at 12am and checked back out at 4am. The room smell of mold and water damage. The bathroom shower needs to be cleaned it’s dingy and dirty looking. I will not be returning. They may have had water damage from a prior hurricane. I’m asthmatic and it bothers me to stay in that smelly room.

The room itself was pretty clean, the bathroom less so. Quite a lot of wear and tear also. Breakfast was actually awesome, full service (we were expecting the usual self serve stuff like muffins and a waffle maker and such). Overall pleased.

After the 3rd room we gave up and just went to bed. The bathroom shower and floor were filthy. I took pics and videos of 222 and 220 to the front desk to show her. No way there were cleaned! I felt u clean just sleeping in 312 because I wasn’t sure it had been cleaned. The bed was extremely hard. My husband couldn’t sleep and woke up with back pain. This was the last stay at a holiday in. After this experience. Not able to upload videos.

Nothing particularly bad. This hotel is the definition of average. Easy check-n, clean room, but not too many extras. Breakfast is NOT included - a shame when we paid almost $300 for one night. While clean, the room has no microwave and has far too few electric outlets and usb ports (none by the bed). The fridge was almost nonfunctional at about 50 degrees. Very average room, but you can get a lot more for a better price than elsewhere. There was an event in town and everywhere else was booked, makes sense people avoided this one. Very expensive for what you get.

The hotel is nice. Had an issue at check in that seemed to take awhile to clear. Youth baseball tournament had several kids very loud, banging above us, etd. No phone cord on the phone to the room so could not call the front desk. The room was nice

The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room had a nonfunctional refrigerator and the toilet was running. The person at the desk gave me a different room when I returned and informed her. The second room was better. The mattress was very firm, but there were plenty of pillows. The walls kept out noise from the neighboring rooms. Although the room did not have a microwave, there was one available in the alcove with the ice machine. Dinner at the restaurant (chicken Monterey with broccoli) was very tasty and reasonably priced.

Everything was excellent, place was clean, modern and the staff was super nice and professional. Bed was comfortable, slept well. Only small complaint was that the TV was from like 2002 and didn't have a guide or any easy way to search. Luckily we weren't in the room much and didn't watch a much TV. Still 5 star worthy though.

I had a room scheduled for April 10th because my infant son was scheduled for a surgery the next day, and we are traveling 6 hours from out of state. The hospital called me at 1:30pm on the 10th to cancel his surgery. I paid extra to have a refundable room up until April 5th(that is the latest cancel date they allowed). Being that this event was totally out of my control, I thought they would be willing to work with me since i would be calling to reschedule my stay anyways. I called the hotel, and the front desk lady told me there wouldn't be a problem to cancel and refund, that she understood. I had to go through hotels.com for the refund since I booked through them. They reached out to the hotel, which told them they were sticking to their policy of no exceptions and not issuing a refund. That is a terrible reputation to set for themselves and somewhat disgusting being my situation. I will no longer be using them to book for our rescheduled surgery.

The exterior of the hotel is very clean and close to restaurants, grocery store and shopping. Front desk check-in and checkout was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed felt wonderful. It was very quiet and peaceful. I had a paid voucher for breakfast and I loved the fact they had grits and not the instant grits. There's no one to greet you when you first walk in the restaurant to take your voucher so I went and grabbed a plate, but didn't see a drink machine, but there's a bar. Its very spacious, neat and clean looking. However, when I went to the bar to ask for something to drink I wasn't greeted nicely. I asked for something to drink. She told me what was available and I said I wouldn't mind orange juice and apple juice. I was told the breakfast voucher was for one item only so I said ok give me the apple juice. I was then asked for my voucher. I handed her my voucher and then noticed I didn't have any utensils. One of the waiters, a young man, asked if I wanted plastic or metal. I told him plastic would be fine. Once I got back to my table I noticed my cup didn't feel full, so I opened the lid and was shocked. It was like half full, so I went back and showed her. I was told they had a limit on how much they can give you. I was outdone and told her unbelievable. I was still feeling upset so I mentioned to another female employee who was pregnant what happened. I told her I was definitely going to report her to the front desk. Her name was Chelsea.
