Staff was great as were the breakfast and nightly reception. Parking was very hectic and congested and very expensive. The valets were great but were sprinting two blocks to get vehicles and it was very chaotic.

Couple nights in town with the family. We especially appreciated the breakfast and the room lay out. We had great interactions with the staff we came across. No included parking ($45 to valet) and small pool size were the only downsides.

Beautiful lobby, great evening refreshments with 2 free cocktails, excellent breakfast buffet with build your own omelet, convenient location and everyone was so friendly and nice. Highly suggest skipping the parking offered at hotel- its valet only and $45. You can park in the parking lot behind the hotel on third street for $15.

The hotel was gorgeous and clean, offered complimentary cocktails and an extravagant breakfast and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly, personable and helpful. Only area I wasn’t a fan of was the indoor pool, which was unimaginative and loud (fans and pipe noises). I didn’t spend much time there anyway, but props for it being open until 11 p.m.!

The hotel was amazing. Our room was clean and very large. Excellent location for concerts at Fourth street live . Only negative was no parking included and $45 for them to valet park .

Housekeeping was attentive but not intrusive, check in was easy, location was great - short walk to the river, convention center and horse track. Lots of food and nightlife within walking distance. Cheap parking lots and garages nearby to avoid the $45 per night valet (no dedicated self parking garage unfortunately). The breakfast offerings were ample with an omelette bar, hot cereal, fresh waffles and pancakes, potatoes, fruit and a variety of breads and bagels for the toaster. They even have vegan butter and milk alternatives. Pool is small but clean and serene, located down on the lower level away from most of the crowd. They even have a free happy hour with snacks and drinks from 5:30-7 pm every day.

Very nice hotel, lobbies and common areas very clean for the most part. Our stay started with them being overbooked and they gave us a key to an occupied room. Escaping with our lives to another room, which was nice and clean to the eye. We needed bedding for the fold out couch. When unfolding noticed the middle couch cushion had a Crusty spot on the corner, gross. We received a clear bag with everything including a pillow. The blanket was sticky and crusty, it's hard to explain because i've never encountered this before, ever. We got new bedding, and it seemed well used. Our kid slept in the bed with us. The vomit outside the 5th floor elevator, that was left around 1030pm Friday night. Died up and was swept away midmorning on Saturday. Great breakfast, front desk staff was also great. Lots of bums outside the hotel, even sleeping on the sidewalk. Stayed 2 nights

The hotel was huge. There was a CVS inside the lobby, which was convenient. The hotel was very clean. Happy hour was great, and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband slipped in the tub, there was nothing on the tub to prevent falls. When I took a shower I had to be very careful. And there was mold on the shower curtain. I love staying at embassy suites, it’s my favorite hotel. But I have to say I liked this one the least out of all the embassy suites I’ve stayed at.

The staff is excellent and they are very helpful. Free cook to order breakfast was great. Only issue was that the room had not been vacuumed. There were lots of crumbs on the ground. Everything else was good.

I stayed in the two-room suite, and it’s a great room. My only complaint is that the air conditioning is not powerful enough to cool the second room. So the bedroom is hot, but the Living room area is cool, so you are left with leaving all the doors open trying to call the room. I stayed here in the middle of July, so if you’re staying here in the winter, your experience may vary. I did tell the front desk they said they sent someone up, but nothing changed.

Rooms are very dated with old furniture and carpeting. Overall, the hotel reminds me of an old out of date hotel that you'd see in Vegas 30 years ago. The valet staff could use a refresher course on customer service. I was also disappointed with the very limited TV cable package. On the positive side, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room also included a mini fridge and microwave. Next time I'm in Louisville, I'll try the Brown or the Seelbach instead.

Good hotel in a good location downtown especially if going to 4th St. Live and other attractions downtown. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour are awesome. Some of the rooms are starting to show wear and tear and could use a remodel and maybe once monthly deep cleaning - nothing too horrible, just things starting to age. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The staff was attentive.

The room was really spacious. Furniture was a bit dated and visibly banged up a bit. The shower head was possibly broken; none of the settings gave a solid stream. It also could have been cleaned better before our arrival.

I appreciated the closeness to the KICC. I also appreciate the proximity to 4th Street Live. Downside was one of the main r elevators kept going out of service, and the TV had a bright white spot in the top center. Water pressure in the shower also not great.

Room was poorly laid out and very average. Furniture was in need of replacement as it was beat up quote a bit. Sheets were very nice quality but the bathroom toiletries were lacking or missing. Lobby was beautiful.

The property is very nice - our room is large. However, I was contacted via chat 24 hours before to see if I had any questions. I requested early check in and it was confirmed over text. When I arrived at the hotel, they said early check in was not available and they did not know why their coworker who was off that day had told me early check in was possible. I had already unloaded my car and children. It was really inconvenient.

The staff here are INCREDIBLE!! Hannah and Ahmaree made my trip absolutely wonderful- from the moment I arrived at the Embassy Suites. They were kind and helpful and totally awesome... the room was great, location great- the staff here, among the best in the whole wide world!

Homeless people outside. Trash in streets. Valet-airport shuttle service never came for us or another group. Ubered ourselves after an hour. Never got comped. Staff was new and untrained. Our room was not ready when we got there. Hair in sink. Not the room we requested.Will not go back

Our flight was delayed, and we send a message to the hotel that we are going to be checking in late and make sure our room stays reserved. When we showed up at the hotel our room was given away. When they realized that mistake was made, they gave us another room. We stayed 6 nights and housekeeping only cleaned the room twice. we had to ask for towels, soap and toilet paper. And now we found out that they charged us a no-show fee because we did not check in on time even after we send them a special message about been checking in late. Very dissatisfied with the stay at this location. Will not book again.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Probably the nicest Embassy we have ever stayed in. The service was sub par. The blonde who checked us is gave us no instructions about our stay. No info on nightly reception, wifi, hours of breakfast, not even our free cocktail tickets. I literally asked the lady working the desk next to her (infont of the lady) and she gave me everything I needed. The original check in lady looked unbothered that someone was finishing her job for her. The next day at the cocktail reception I met other guests who said they also received an unwelcoming and lack luster welcome at check in. They also weren’t given their complimentary drink tickets. Our rooms tv would not turn on and our pull out sofa had no linens stored in the room. Maintenance also had to come back to unclog a toilet. Parking was also slim if you aren’t valeting. Other than this the property was clean and beautiful!

Perfect for the concert venue, just exactly across the street. Just perfect! The area around is a bit rough, not be exactly safe. The hotel staff and amenities 10 out if 10! Amazing complementary breakfast bufet! Just amazing! The only problem we had was this: gave the van up for valet parking. When we got our vehicle back the next morning, it stunk very strongly of merijuana to the point that one of our kids got nauseous.

The room was spacious and looked to be recently renovated. The bed was not very comfortable. The price of overnight parking was on par with Washington DC and seemed improperly scaled for the midwest. Be aware of one way streets in Louisville--I found it extremely difficult to get around with Apple Maps.

The evening reception offered refeshments. However, they served carmel popcorn with peanuts without any warning labels. My son who has a nut allergy inadvertently ate it and developed an allergic reaction. I went directly to the front desk to complain and they actually wrote a note to Danielle, the head of food service, about what happened. Unfortunately, no action was taken as this popcorn with peanuts appetizer was served wothout warning labels for the next two evening receptions
