We were a group of 6. 3 adults, 2 older teens and one toddler. We got the two bedroom suite which was two beds and a pullout sofa. There was a kitchenette and two bathrooms which was perfect for our stay. The room was clean, smelled good and just what we needed. Check-in staff was friendly. We did have an extra 20 minute wait after arriving about 30 minutes past check-in time due to some electrical issue in the room. The hotel was in a good location. Easy to find, free parking and had a few places to eat within walking distance. The only thing that I would change would be the shower tub floor. It had some permanent scrapings and stains, so although clean gives the appearance that it’s not. Overall I enjoyed my stay and when I come to visit again, I will book this hotel again.

I went to the gym on Saturday saw no towels or sanitizer. Alerted the front desk and he had that look like whatever and just nodded. 45 minutes in the gym and he did not bring any towels, etc. Next day same issue, different employee. She resolved the issue asap. She brought the sanitizers herself and had the housekeeping staff bring the towels. I would have given 5 stars, but I gave 3 instead of one because of the service the next day. Just note i have been going to this hotel for 10 years and this is the first time I had bad service.

I would love to rate this hotel a 10/10! A 5 star rating all the way! The fact that it's pet friendly, in the BX; is by far the best hotel I have ever experienced! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Staff in all areas, fantastic breakfast they have a bar there ,with happy hour 🌞around the corner is Chipotle,an excellent health food store and if you want to get a membership there is a gym and pool Overall this trip was great! They also give you free bottles of water and chocolate chip cookies upon arrival 🌞4 th stay great!

This place is amazing! Free parking! Safe! Dont get confused with it being in Bronx, it's very safe! You need to scan your card for the elevator and to enter the hotel during the nigth. Nice rooms and there is a sofa bed for which I asked for extra pillows and covers to make it more comfortable. Adding that on is necessary in my opinion to not feel the springs of the sofa bed, so just ask for them and you will be alrigth. But the king bed is very comfortable and perfect. There is a nice view too, with a gym. Free breakfast is nice. The hotel feels more than a 3 star hotel. Would definitly stay again.

The staff, especially Winzell were super helpful. She helped my & my kids with my room and switching my room when I needed an upgrade. She helped me get checked in early too. My room was very nice & super clean. The water pressure in our bathrooms was fantastic! The bathrooms were very, very nice-spacious. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning to the hotel. The parking was great too! It comes with your room and they just give you a pass to display in your car. My only suggestion are more food options in-house & the AC was a little loud in the room. Both things doable but just a suggestion to make it even better!

The overall service was excellent however there was long strains of hair everywhere then I found a roach in my bathroom ! Then someone'child was running across the floor banging and jumping from 6:45 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. had to call the desk 3 times

I’m extremely underwhelmed and disappointed in the state of this hotel. One of the elevators smelled like dog urine. There was clear packing tape used in the bathroom to hold up the shower door, the mirror was chipped/damaged, wallpaper was peeling & carpet lifting in some areas. I could care less about kids in the hallway playing late at night or breakfast not being available before we departed the final day, the state of the hotel was just extremely dissatisfying. I snapped photos of our room but didn’t get any of the peeling wallpaper or damaged carpet in the hallways.

Not a good experience, When me and my family entered the room we realized that the carpet is very wet the room had a bad odor , we had to move to another room ,when we turned the ac on it smell like urine. When we checked out the front desk lady had zero customer service skills very rude, not friendly no smile.

This hotel was impeccable and very clean! Upon entering it smelled really good and the decor was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Zoo, but this is definitely a hotel that I would stay at again!

My electric sockets were not working when I arrived. I was trying to charge my phone when I got to the room. Nothing worked. The desk clerk wanted to sell me a new charger instead of sending someone up to the room to check it out. My tv stopped working at 7 in the morning I was told the engineer comes in at 11. After going back and forth someone came up and fixed it. There was a large bug in my room. Disgusting. It was not a good experience.

I didn’t like the fact that the heating system in my room was not working and I called front desk who sent a technician but he couldn’t fix it and I had to put on warm clothes and go under the blanket to sleep early and couldn’t sit on chair to relax etc and they had no more rooms available and couldn’t give me a refund to go to another hotel because booked thru a 3rd party Expedia and they have to pay U commission. If I had booked directly then they could have given me a refund. I hereby demand a refund for the inconvenience and the pain and suffering that I endured that made my stay miserable.

The staff here are impeccable,courteous and helpful I was on the 5th floor this time very quiet only quarrel I have is the beds are low in the master bedroom and because I have a problem with my knee it was difficult getting up and down without assistance. Shout out to their free breakfast turkey sausage, eggs, real potatoes waffles that you cook... yogurt fresh fruit juices muffins cereal oat meal toast bagels coffee tea chocolate milk I was impressed with the variety plus it taste good! Only thing missing was grits!!! Very satisfied this trip! #4

The tv did not work because of upgrades being done so traveling alone in a hotel room by myself without a tv was quite boring. I called down to they front desk asking when the work would be finished they did t know, told me to log into Amazon or Netflix to stream, but couldn’t since I don’t have accounts. One of the front desk staff was extremely rude, had no interest in resolving the tv issue and hung up the phone on me. When I called back she told me to come to the lobby I can watch tv there. These people are in the hospitality business and hospitable they were not.

I asked the staff to extend my stay by one night, the attendant took my card, but never ran it. My stay was never extended and then I had to leave. I made it work, but this could have ruined the trip.

The overall service was excellent however there was long strains of hair everywhere then I found a roach in my bathroom ! Then someone'child was running across the floor banging and jumping from 6:45 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. had to call the desk 3 times

The staff, especially Winzell were super helpful. She helped my & my kids with my room and switching my room when I needed an upgrade. She helped me get checked in early too. My room was very nice & super clean. The water pressure in our bathrooms was fantastic! The bathrooms were very, very nice-spacious. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning to the hotel. The parking was great too! It comes with your room and they just give you a pass to display in your car. My only suggestion are more food options in-house & the AC was a little loud in the room. Both things doable but just a suggestion to make it even better!

Due to miscommunication with the front desk staff, I was not able to extend my stay as previously discussed. I had to check out after one night and find another hotel to stay in. This was quite rough since I just got off a 14 hour flight.

We had a great stay from start to finish at the Residence Inn. The staff was courteous and very helpful. The room was terrific - very clean and spacious for a NYC hotel room. We needed a few extra things for the room, and they were sent up very quickly. The breakfast had great hours, lots of seating, and great food - hot and cold. Everything was kept refilled. There was parking on-site right outside the hotel. The hotel was in a great area. We walked to a terrific deli that was recommended by the staff. We were also in need of a grocery-type store, and that was also within walking distance and recommended by the staff. We felt very safe walking around. We would definitely stay there again if ever the need arose! We had gone to the Bronx to visit the Bronx Zoo's Wildlife Conservation Center. The zoo was close by the hotel.

We were a group of 6. 3 adults, 2 older teens and one toddler. We got the two bedroom suite which was two beds and a pullout sofa. There was a kitchenette and two bathrooms which was perfect for our stay. The room was clean, smelled good and just what we needed. Check-in staff was friendly. We did have an extra 20 minute wait after arriving about 30 minutes past check-in time due to some electrical issue in the room. The hotel was in a good location. Easy to find, free parking and had a few places to eat within walking distance. The only thing that I would change would be the shower tub floor. It had some permanent scrapings and stains, so although clean gives the appearance that it’s not. Overall I enjoyed my stay and when I come to visit again, I will book this hotel again.

If you’re looking to stay near Fordham or Arthur Ave, this is a comfortable and spacious choice. However, this is not a walkable neighborhood - but there is free parking and great delivery food. I recommend Frank’s.

This hotel was impeccable and very clean! Upon entering it smelled really good and the decor was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Zoo, but this is definitely a hotel that I would stay at again!

Good stay this time! I would never eat their free breakfast but this time I did! Excellent breakfast everything from soup to nuts and it taste great! Only hiccup is the beds in the 2 bedroom units are to low! The staff are very good! Made my stay more comfortable...

I’m extremely underwhelmed and disappointed in the state of this hotel. One of the elevators smelled like dog urine. There was clear packing tape used in the bathroom to hold up the shower door, the mirror was chipped/damaged, wallpaper was peeling & carpet lifting in some areas. I could care less about kids in the hallway playing late at night or breakfast not being available before we departed the final day, the state of the hotel was just extremely dissatisfying. I snapped photos of our room but didn’t get any of the peeling wallpaper or damaged carpet in the hallways.

Property is clean and staff is friendly. However staff couldn’t keep up with breakfast items due to housing residents of a burned apartment building. Also, mattress on the pullout sofa was useless. Had to make a bed out of the cushions.

Staff in all areas, fantastic breakfast they have a bar there ,with happy hour 🌞around the corner is Chipotle,an excellent health food store and if you want to get a membership there is a gym and pool Overall this trip was great! They also give you free bottles of water and chocolate chip cookies upon arrival 🌞4 th stay great!

The staff here are impeccable,courteous and helpful I was on the 5th floor this time very quiet only quarrel I have is the beds are low in the master bedroom and because I have a problem with my knee it was difficult getting up and down without assistance. Shout out to their free breakfast turkey sausage, eggs, real potatoes waffles that you cook... yogurt fresh fruit juices muffins cereal oat meal toast bagels coffee tea chocolate milk I was impressed with the variety plus it taste good! Only thing missing was grits!!! Very satisfied this trip! #4
