Super cute little spot. Close to everything. Best part was the contactless check in and outs. Bike rentals if you need them. Nice lawn with seats and fire wood.

This property was a great place to spend one night while driving through Solvang. The parking lot is small but it’s in walking distance to everything and has everything you need. I’m not sure I would spend longer than that here, the rooms are on the smaller side and it was a very no frills stay. It’s been updated and the aesthetic is awesome but it would’ve been even better if they had also redone the showers and purchased new mattress bases however for the price we paid it was perfect.

This is my second time staying at Viking inn perfect location close to everything! hotel so clean the fire pit is amazing. We sat around the fire drinking wine. Definitely I will be back.

Nice and chill experience. Quiet place for the most part. Front desk was nice the one time i interacted with them. Check in and checkout process was a breeze. Would stay again. The only issues I experienced, which were not deal breakers but would prefer a better experience were the following: 1) they have a small parking that fills up and you may end up having to park on the street 2) the toilet flushing was oddly slow (but worked) 3) the bathroom size was big but had no counter space so really difficult to keep any supplies (they did have shelves on one side but they were high and not user friendly).

This little Inn was very enjoyable to stay at. The folks in the office were so helpful, and you felt like you were staying at a friends or family‘s place. Really convenient, comfortable outdoor seating and firepit—great to return home to after a full day of sightseeing.

Property was nice on the outside but I had a couple concerns. First, there was definitely black mold in the shower and the room continuously got stuffy. Even though it was quite cold we had to keep opening a window. Second, water pressure in the shower was terrible and took forever to rinse off shampoo. Lastly, mattress was very old and uncomfortable. Room otherwise was clean, but the black mold and old shower with little water pressure was definitely an issue.

Great location, easy to walk to everything in Solvang. Easy to park, efficient contactless check-in, great wifi. Room had everything we needed- mini fridge, coffee/tea, comfy bed, etc. The small grounds are cute with a firepit/seating. No frills, but good basic place to stay. My only complaint- and the hotel is going through renovations- is that the hotel shower needs to be re-done or much more throughly cleaned. There is black mold around tub/shower seams.

The room was spotless and comfy. Really appreciate the set up to make coffee and tea since it was quite cold in the evenings and mornings. The fire pit was nice for that too. We stayed at an older spot last year so this felt like a night and day difference. Would def look into staying again :)

We had an excellent time, convenient to stores and restaurants in Solvang. The Viking inn was clean and everything worked including the shower and toilet, thank God.

Shower could’ve been in better condition. There was oxidation and rust running down the sides of the handicap bars and the drain was in a similar condition. Shower curtains were also way too long and a nuisance to keep pushing away.

We had a great stay at the Viking Inn. Room 6 was a perfect little room. It's very simple, as in the room was small and had only the basics, but that is exactly what I want out of a "Roadside Motel." The room was very clean and the bed was COMFY. I will definitely be back again for another stay!!

Great location in this easily walkable town. Room was on smaller side but super efficient. Having a refrigerator was nice. Bed comfortable, shower with plenty of pressure. We didn’t get a chance to use but the chairs and fire pit in the yard area was great addition.

Check in was super easy, no need to interact with a staff, the code sent straight to my phone. I was sick during the stay and the staff was able to find some medicine for my headache. The area is walkable in Solvang, love the convenient location. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. But the pillow wasn’t too comfortable.

Location was okay, walkable. Pet friendly and clean. However , its very noisy our room and window just facing the main street. The bed needs upgrade it's not good for those people with back issue, we feel like were sinking into the bed .The door lock needs to check my son was not able to lock the door good thing he brought his own.

Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Contactless check in and free parking. Cute outdoor seating area with fire pit, which we didn’t utilize however looked inviting. Loved that the room had a microwave and mini fridge, plus a table and chairs for eating or visiting. Water bottles and an electric kettle with hot tea and coffee packets were a nice touch. My only negative was that room 2 I was in was closest to the main road and there is a significant amount of traffic sounds. However on the flip side being so close to everything was amazing.

Our stay was great. Easy online check in. We had our room # and code for the door sent via text before getting there. That was the best! The location was perfect, diagonal from Paula’s Pancakes which was the best breakfast. Room was super clean and smelled fresh and clean. It had a great bungalow vibe.

Our stay at the Viking Inn was amazing. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location of this Inn is walking distance to Solvang Village Center. I would definitely be returning and staying there again. The staff was also friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay. Good room. Clean and quiet. Good bed and close to town so we didnt need a car to shop or eat. Cool check-in was without seeing a desk person, we just used the given code provided on our phone and entered our room. We sent three messages to the hotel questioning rules on pets and all three messages were ignored; very frustrating.

The place shows that someone has taken the property and given it some real thought on the reno. It is all well done - nothing too fancy but enough to be clean and feel good when you check in. I would stay here again. Cindy was the front desk and she was fantastic and very nice. She even got us in early so we could get my son ready for his hockey event.
