We booked and paid for executive lounge access and the lounge was closed for renovations. Our room card, however, still worked to go into the lounge and lights etc were off but there were no renovations going on. I only booked this hotel because of the executive lounge. Had I known, I would have booked elsewhere. The same room without lounge access would have been much cheaper, but they still took my money and didn’t say anything. Not even when we checked in. We only found out the next morning. Very unethical and although the staff at the hotel were very friendly, it has made me think again about the ethics of Marriott.

The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. All of the front desk staff, managers and porters were very friendly, helpful, interested in their customers and unfailingly courteous. It appeared to be a well-managed and happy hotel. Special mention to Ali for assisting with luggage security and Dona for her professionalism.

Room was clean and the staff was at hand to clean it everyday. Welcoming staff [Raj] was very welcoming. Raj helped to order taxis whenever we needed one. Overall we were satisfied with everything at Vintage Grand.
