Had a difficult time getting into the building. Code would not work. Finally a lady that lives in the building let us in. After reaching out to the host, we were able to get into the apartment. The place looked just like the picture on the app, it was clean. The problem was the two of us only had 1 clean bath towel. The rest of the towels and the sheets from the prior occupant, we’re in the washer/dryer combo, damp and stinky. The hosts cleaning ladies obviously did not do their job well.

The positives: This was my first experience in a rental. I was very impressed with the effort that was put forth by the owner. I rented a studio, which was quite large. The kitchen appliances were all full size and appeared to be brand new and of excellent quality. There was plenty of closet space and a huge king sized bed with a significant number of quality pillows. The bath was ample sized and included a new subway tile bathtub/ shower combo. Lighting was superb in the bath and in the main room. The entire unit was very clean and there were unexpected extras like lots of spices for my spaghetti sauce, a few mystery novels. I enjoyed the James Patterson one set in WV. There were three very large windows covered with privacy blinds, but no view. The security in the building was top notch. The negatives: I hate to even list these as I feel the owner made such a tremendous effort to provide a clean comfortable and tasteful studio, but I was disappointed that there was no place to actually unpack my suitcase. Some shelves or drawers would be nice and it would have also been nice to have a stand or place to put my suitcase. I ended up using the ottoman, but that meant I couldn’t sit back in tne comfy armchair and put my feet up. Finally, my really big disappointment was that there was no cart at the door for transporting my stuff from the door to my room. I’m disabled and had to make three trips from my car because one hand was occupied with a cane. Overall, I highly recommend

Single room with king size bed, very comfortable, larger than hotel room. Plenty of kitchen space. Very noisy on Saturday night until about midnight, but quiet the rest of the time. Felt very secure. Easy parking. 2.50 per day. Good diner across the street.
