Very cute & cozy hotel with refreshments in the lobby 24/7. Great service and extremely friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small but worked out as we were hardly there - the bathrooms were a decent size. Clean and fairly quiet. Excellent location.

Good location, a few blocks from nearest subway station at Herald Sq. Rooms were small, but clean. Bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. Even a tiny basement gym that had equipment was just what I needed. The only issue was constant wait for elevators as there are only 2. Our room didn’t have a view, despite requesting one.

Hotel is centrally located near Time Square, Empire State Building. We were able to walk to many places or hop on the subway as well as ferry or the Skyway (across to Roosevelt Island - highly recommend at sunset). We very much appreciated the refreshing fruit waters and coffee in the lobby. Room was spacious for the 3 of us with the pull out couch. All around a very pleasant experience and will definitely recommend.

One of the best experiences I've had in years. You can tell this team takes hospitality, quality, luxury and detail seriously. Every person who worked there genuinely seemed happy to help me out with every ask or inquiry I had. You can tell that they care about creating a great experience. Everything from checking in/out as well as leaving or picking up my bags was just easy. The hotel itself was in a great location and very walkable. The rooms were small but pristine. The gym was simple but spacious. The lobby wasn't grand, but comfortable, warm and a great place to have a chat with my friends by the fireplace. This is definitely going to be my number one choice next time I'm in the city.

Room was tiny but clean. Bathroom was as big as bedroom. Parking was convenient with public parking about 4 doors down and staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of food options all around and an easy walk to Broadway and up to Times Square.

Cleanliness was average. Staff was friendly at check in. Continental breakfast was poor—just some prepackaged muffins. Biggest issue is that the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night and we couldn’t get the room cooler than 76 degrees. Hardly slept at all. Was only one night stay so no opportunity to change rooms at 3:30 am or do anything about it. Property is expensive and after that wouldn’t stay here again. Check out was abrupt and no opportunity to mention at that time (and expectation to be told there’s nothing they can do due to third party booking through Hotels.com)

I wouldn't describe this as a luxury hotel. It's on par with a Holiday inn. The room was small and unimpressive, the elevators are slow and the continental breakfast was little more than vending machine fare.

Bathroom in need of renovation, old tub with tired caulking and a nasty ceiling. Pillows lumpy and mattress slumped down on the sides. Worst thing is carpet in rooms…yuck, felt dirty.

Housekeeping is spotless. Large, quiet room. i’m glad we didn’t have to pay the resort fee because we didn’t even drink their water. We brought our own water filter. In fact, I’m not quite sure what the resort fee is supposed to include. otherwise Would I come back to this hotel? Absolutely, provided that there is no resort fee.

Liked: great location, close to everything. Room was quiet. Staff was quick to respond to requests. Didn’t like: Some parts of the room were broken like bathroom door lock. Sheets were dirty in both bed and pullout sofa.

The only issues were weak wifi in the room (not really a big deal for us, but it could be for some) and the extra bed (sofa bed) was not comfortable, even by sofa bed standards. It was about as supportive as a hammock. Despite these, everything else was fantastic. The room was very nice and well appointed. The main bed was super comfortable. The service from the staff was phenomenal and I want to say that they should be recognized for the outstanding service they provided. The location of the hotel is ideal for getting around the city. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The high floor room with an Empire view ended up being not so high floor with a view of the tip of the Empire State. While room was nice, it was definitely not the same as on the photos, plus our room had uncontrollable air conditioner and 2 days of cold water only, in all fairness we were given a compensation for the latter. Overall, not terrible but not great either.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was exactly as advertised, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of Empire State building. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the location offered plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, plus easy access to the subway.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained the front desk staff and manager saloua deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately we had 2 incidents which reduced the rating. 1st we were clearly told they provide cots at check in as we were travelling with kids (In writing through message on Expedia app) however once we arrived we were told they never had cots at the hotel. The manager Saloua was absolutely great and resolved the issue. 2nd issue was very rude service by the bell desk, we had asked to store our stroller as we were using the metro on our last day and the bellman Jaimie said they do not store strollers only “bags” we noted we have never been to a hotel where they didn’t store a stroller and asked if this is the hotel policy, he noted well every hotel is different and didn’t answer the question and basically shrugged us off so we went back to the front desk. Once there the manager soloua once again saved the day and personally stored our stroller. I also heard the same bell man on another occasion telling another staff that if you give a customer an inch they want more… clearly he isn’t one for customer service. The hotel and front desk staff, manager, room, location and cleaning staff are all incredible and would give them 5 stars. 2 stars that are removed is because of the bell desk attendee.

The hotel was in excellent condition and in a great location but what makes me want to stay here any time I’m in NY is the manager Steve. I had a health issue with my son leading into the trip and Steve was amazingly supportive with adjustments. He even came out to speak with me when I checked in and checked on my son’s condition. You could tell that he genuinely cared and offered his direct contact information in case I needed anything else. Thank you for everything Steve. It is rare to find that level of customer service and it is greatly appreciated.

The hotel is in the best location, everything you need is within walking distance. The staff are amazing especially Luis and also Latch who remembered us from our trip a year ago, but everyone was so helpful, if we needed anything we just had to ask, this was our third stay at the hotel and would definitely recommend it.

I was disappointed with the level of customer service I experienced. The staff were quite rude and unwelcoming, which made the visit uncomfortable. I had hoped for a friendlier and more professional attitude. Additionally, there was an issue upon my arrival and again when I was leaving, which added to the negative experience. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, as I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy.

Room amenities were great and good linens. Very nice and polite staff. Just the area outside the hotel is not good - too many trash bags and drifters around. Maybe the hotel should work with the city and local merchants to have the garbage bags removed as they are an eyesore.

This hotel is excellently located a short walk from Penn Station and several subway lines in Midtown. The lobby and lounge are welcoming, and the room was clean, modern, and reasonably spacious by NYC standards. The staff were all friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Our stay came with breakfast vouchers, which bought a nice meal in the hotel restaurant/bar for our family of four. For Manhattan, this place is definitely good value for money. We'd stay here again.

Perfectly located to explore NYC being a stones through from the Empire State Building. Although we were on a lower floor facing the street it was still very quiet. Room was exceptionally clean and smelled very fresh. Toiletries were good quality Lacome brand which we like. Small breakfast & coffee available every morning which was an added bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at this property before, we like the staff and the place. We love the location and how close it is to the stores. However, with this visit, the hotel did not provide what they promised. We received various texts and reminders about free Continental breakfast until July 31. When we asked about it they told us that the promotion was no longer available because there was a restaurant that opened. Now, in order to get breakfast it is $28 per person. But overall, the place is wonderful and we will definitely stay with them!
