Cute place to stay The hot tub was awesome The back garden was great for breakfast and the front table and chairs was great for happy hour

Beautiful room, hot tub was great after days of driving, good food nearby, quiet, confortable.

Nicest place we’ve stayed at so far this trip. Very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Got a free breakfast voucher for the cafe next door and had a very nice breakfast.

Pleasantly decorated rooms with welcoming space for hot tub time and outdoor relaxation onsite. Relaxing environment.

This is an old house converted to a B&B. There is no one on site and access instructions are sent via text. When we arrived there was someone already in the room and we scared the heck out of them trying to open the door. i called the number on the door and Jennifer was very apologetic, getting us an alternate room for the night. The room was very clean, definitely not your standard chain hotel room. The only parking is on the street, but we had no problems with parking. Overall not bad at all.

It is located within walking distance of the Blue House bakery (which you WILL want to visit) and a grocery store. Parking is available out front and was free and convenient to access. It is within driving distance of many must see places such as Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains national parks. Management was very accommodating and addressed any issue or concerns promptly. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Clean, comfortable and cute room! We stayed in luxury king room which stood on its own with its own parking space. Otherwise, plenty of parking on the strret. Very comfortable bed, large room. Frig & microwave & cofee maker. Yummy fresh baked cookies on arrival. Overly friendly kitty (who walked in the room while we were unloading! LOL) Traffic noise at night was mitigated by ear plugs provided. Breakfast is via a voucher you provide to the cafe 2 doors down. Voucher covered our breakfast croissants but my fancy latte & extra pastry was on me. Food & service was excellent! Host texted door lock code so arrival was simple. Would love to stay here again!

The cutest little bed and breakfast with a nice courtyard and hot tub. The breakfast voucher for the Blue House Coffee Shop 2 doors down was an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Lovely room, great/clean amenities, outdoor lounge area was well kept, and had some cute community cats as a bonus!

I loved the hot tub

We were in the downstairs room, so our review is from that standpoint. We had people upstairs who apparently didn’t need sleep. We could hear every footstep, conversation, snore when someone did sleep and the tv on all night. The inn did provide ear plugs, so obviously has been an issue in the past, but hard to sleep while wearing them. As far as the room, the towels were threadbare and had holes in them. The bathroom is upstairs, so you do have to climb back up to use it. We did enjoy the cookies they left and the breakfast. The kids staying in other rooms had fun playing with the cats (I think we counted 13) that lived at the property. Parking is on the street in front. Easy access to groceries and restaurants

Fantastic boutique motel in the heart of Carlsbad. Check in instructions were clear and made checking in a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. There was even an electric fireplace in the room and cookies set out! Great stay at an awesome price. Highly recommend!!

The carpeting needs to be replaced. It was stained and worn out.

Pros: free water, chocolate chip cookies, breakfast voucher ($27 to cover 3 ppl :/) to a great cafe. Coffee machine. Responsive host. Door code easy entrance. Ear plugs provided. Fluffy towels, lots of TP. TV with mute and CC options. 2nd bedroom had a mini couch to sit on. Free parking. Cons: listing photos need to be updated. We stayed in the Orange Blossom Room on the front of the house. There was no comfortable seating in the room, the desk was child sized and cramped in a corner. Loads of bird poop covered walkway to entrance. Porch was very dirty and the chairs were covered with pet hair. 2nd bedroom is only accessible through bathroom. Bathroom door was sticking really bad. Woke up everyone when shut or opened. The neighborhood was noisy. Loud dragsters and a car alarm went off forever on our night. The beds are quite high making it difficult to get in or out for some. The tub, fixtures and liner curtain were gross. Need to be replaced. P.S. I went back and looked at the reviews from past years and noticed others have mentioned this and suggested replacement. Time to take care of it! Final thought: I mention all the above because I always read the reviews before choosing a place to stay. The listing photos and reviews were the reason I finally chose this property. In my humble opinion, I feel the $214 charged was way over what I feel this particular room should be. Of course, we all see and value things differently. You be the judge. :)

Great room. Very clean with the old fashioned look and feel. Easy check in and check out. Loved the home made cookies and backed goods. Breakfast was very adequate. Would stay again. Very much agree with the rating.

Very cute, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Easy check in and out. Good location too. The issue I had was that the internet was not strong enough to hold a video call which was for work. Kept kicking me off Zoom. Good reliable internet, especially for this level of accommodation seems basic nowadays. Also I don’t recommend staying the basement room because the upstairs footsteps are loud and annoying.

The unit was OK but nothing great. You could hear traffic noise pretty much all night and the wi-fi was truly terrible — pretty much not usable. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and having a bit of a breakfast in the room was a nice touch. Overall, way overpriced for what it was.

A great night's sleep in old-world stylish comfort. We loved it here; little touches, like bottles of cold water in the fridge on arrival, go a long way.

Fiddlers was very nice. Did not realize there are no windows in the room. That is definitely a negative. Room was clean and nice. Air conditioning unit the loudest we have ever encountered. Perhaps that is the reason for the earplugs on the bed stands!

Comfortable bed, quiet location within walking distance of Carlsbad's wonderful two-mile park on the Pecos River. Really liked the Blue House bakery next door for the included breakfast. But more airbnb than inn--I had a separte entrance and did not see another soul. Yard is private and I had no access to any lounge or central area. Parking is on the street. The only window in the dark room was a frosted pane in the door. Lots more character than the charmless chains on the road into town.

Although the room was comfortable enough, there were no windows and it was very dark. The location was on a busy street.

Fiddler's Inn is like staying at a friend's home. We were in the Orange Blossom Suite; it was adorable, and there were so many nice touches and amenities, like homemade cookies! Jenn was an amazing host! She made sure to contact us and communicate with us. She was very responsive to our questions. The breakfast offered two doors down at the bakery was wonderful, and the general location right in downtown Carlsbad make this property an ideal location.

First time at a bed and breakfast. It sets a high standard for future stays. So spacious and beautifully decorated. Has everything you need. Host is super responsive and friendly. Loved it!

Amazing staff, clean room, yummy baked goodies and quite neighborhood with walkable access to CVS/Groceries. They provided very detailed instructions so our check-in was also very smooth. Highly recommend!

We arrived late, maybe 9:30, and Jenn had texted instructions with a key code so it was easy to get in. Bed was comfortable. The voucher for Blue House Bakery was nice.

Man I loved this place! Very comfortable! The staff were so nice, it was my wife’s birthday so I asked them to leave a note on our bed and they printed a cute note on some decorative paper! 10-10 this place is a hole in the wall!

Except for check in confusion, this place is a little gem . There is no reception desk and I didn’t receive any check in info prior to arrival but once we made contact, everything was a breeze. The room was adorable - quaint and comfy. Breakfast is next door at the blue house cafe (you get a voucher) and this is a happening and fun bakery cafe. This is an anti- chain type of place but I give it high marks and would stay again!

Quiet nice location. Very comfortable bed in a homey room with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely come back.

This place is beyond my expectations. The outside of the building is not impressive but the inside is well decorated and very clean. It feels cozy and relaxed than those chain hotels. There is a grocery store and some good restaurants nearby within walking distances. The inn gives a coupon for breakfast in a restaurant next door, which has very good breakfast, not the standard hotel breakfast buffet.

I was planning a solo trip to the Carlsbad Caverns. They're about a 30 min drive from the town (but there really isn't much closer). This place was exactly what I was looking for. It's in a great part of Carlsbad, NM - very conveniently located to the downtown and river walk area. Breakfast was offered at a cafe offsite, but the voucher was *more* than sufficient. The cafe was also adorable, so I'm glad I got the chance to check it out. There are also a couple of friendly kitties that lived on the premises which only added to the charm. I had a great visit

A lovely place to stay! Close to the caverns and many places in Carlsbad were walkable, like the cute bakery a minute walk away! Comfortable bed and cozy room.

We loved our stay at Fiddler’s Inn! We loved everything from the prior communication to the appearance and comfort of the room. The homemade cookies and breakfast were little touches that put our stay over the top. We would definitely try here again!

The stay was nice and all, but its definitely a small area thats cramped and overpriced for what it is worth. The breakfast, like many stays, is very meh. They just give goua coupon to go to the breakfast restaurant next door which is very good but very busy. Good luck trying to catch them on time if you want biscuits and gravy! Other than that...the yard is very nice, the rooms are comfortable, and I absolutely loved the cats there.
