One of the original “Holidomes”, later purchased by a local father and son, a real throw-back hotel. Yes the old girl is showing her age but the maintenance staff is doing a good job keeping an old ship upright. Indoor pool and huge playground, free breakfast, full bar, convenience items in the lobby, & great deck overlook into the atrium. Next to the Concho River, they have taken advantages with bistro sets and chairs set out to view a lovely west Texas sunset in a historic, just off downtown, setting. Everything was neat and clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Look, it’s not the Bellagio in Las Vegas, but if you wanna historic setting in a place where local people work with what they’ve got and take pride in what they have, give the Pearl on the Concho a stay.

This place was awesome. No, it’s not the Ritz. But is it comfy, clean, safe, has a restaurant/bar on site, a great pool, billiards, air hockey, mini golf, indoor play place for the littles, arcade? YES. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great for families. We’ll be back.

This place is a great stop for families. The atrium has ping pong, pool tables, air hockey, playground, pool, arcade and a restaurant. It was such a nice treat for our family to have some fun all in one location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The entire place is older but very clean. Room was basic but comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when visiting San Angelo!

So many kids and kids birthday parties. Exterior doors propped open with door matts. So was worried about security. Food was pretty meh, smelled like chlorine as soon as you walked in. Queen beds not very comfortable. Staff was very friendly though and the location was convenient.

The game room looked good online but then all the games were broken and just took our money. The toilet in our room kept breaking and there were 2 a large lines across the screen of the tv and we were told they were free tv’s so nobody could complain. Lots of hair in the pool. I was really grossed out by this place. I wouldn’t stay again. Staff was friendly but ineffective.

Great check in experience. Room faced the parking lot. Very busy Saturday night. Friendly bartender but overrun with families and loud kids. We stayed 2 nights and the second night was better without lots of families, but the bar/restaurant wasn’t open on Sundays. Breakfast was ok, nothing that stood out. Rooms were older and needed renovations. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of parking. We walked around and never felt unsafe.

The room was a little dated, but very clean, and all the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. We felt like family. Breakfast was good, and plenty of options. The pool and game area were also very clean. The bar had good selections, and the bartender was very friendly and welcoming.

the location on the river is fabulous, however the mattress was terrible. I felt like I needed to wear flip flops to avoid getting athletes foot in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the building, furniture, and facilities are old and rundown.

This motel had bugs flying in rooms and there were multiple on my bed. Dead and alive. The shower wouldn’t drain and I did not feel safe here. The staff was super nice but sadly that’s the only good thing I can say about this place.

The bath tub was gross. They had painted the tub and shower and it is peeling off. Had formed pockets that water collected in. The rooms floor was so nasty. My kids feet turned black when they walked on it. A/c unit didnt cool the entire room. Our room was exterior and it was obvious that someone had broke in before by the bent metal door frame. The kids enjoyed the pool, but i do not believe we will stay there again.

Old dirty carpet. Shower head at best is chest level and I am not tall. Mismatched towels that are navy gray or white and threadbare. Location was convenient but our room was like it has never been updated since 1960. A motel 6 would have been an upgrade by far!!

Don’t go! The place is run down. Most rooms are exterior doors…more like a cheap hotel. The bathroom had peeling paint in the shower and a nasty red mat in the tub. The bathroom fixtures were not secure and the shower head was about 5 feet up. I had to mean back to wash my hair. The walls were paper thin and we could hear our neighbors conversation and tv at 5 AM. We thought about swimming before we arrived, but you would have to walk outside to get to the indoor pool and to get back. It was a huge disappointment!

Pro's: Breakfast was good. Had good real eggs and biscuits. Coffee was nothing fancy, but also good. Fun place for kids, has indoor pool and games. Near downtown and the river. Con's: Very Loud music until 11PM each night (we stayed Friday and Saturday). So loud we could hear it with the door closed in our room and the TV on loud. We had an interior room, so all day there were kids screaming and making a lot of noise in the pool, this was understandable, but think any loud music should have been turned off before 10 (at the latest) and it really wasn't necessary to have it so loud anyway. Rooms seemed a bit worn and dirty. The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable. They advertise as a place to fish on the Concho river, but it was a very steep climb up and down to the river. TV was old and we had to reset it each day to get it to work, also screen was blurry for about 15 minutes or so until it warmed up.

The bed in 110 needs replacing. It was seriously sagging. We were hanging on to the sides to keep from rolling yo the middle all night. Not a good sleep.

We stayed four nights. Check in was very pleasant. The front desk was very accommodating in helping us find the room location we liked best. We looked at 3 different locations A housekeeping staff member was a very helpful tour guide. We ended up with an inside room. It was a good choice. Room was clean. Bed was comfy, lots of pillows but they were a bit hard. If you need a special soft pillow I'd recommend you bring your own. The AC is a multipurpose unit and a handy guide in the room helps you figure it out. Once figured out it works great. Be aware that if your room is inside that the indoor pool party doesn't stop until 10 PM. Then it gets quiet. Didn't bother us very much. TV max volume is a bit low but starting to notice that in a lot of hotels. Bath room was clean. Water pressure was adequate and stay hot the whole time it was in use. The hot breakfast was pretty much the normal hot breakfast bar. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and cream gravy, waffle iron, cereal, some fruit, etc. The best thing was the home made salsa I used on the eggs. Over all we enjoyed staying at the Pearl and will stay again. One other thing we liked was its location on the river and in the town. Easy to get to from any location.

Showed up a little after 3pm and they didnt have the room ready and said it would be about an hour. Left and then called at almost 6 to make sure that the room was ready before heading back and it still wasn't ready. Told the GM that i would call back in 15 and if it wasn't ready I was canceling and going somewhere else. Was told the room would be ready when I got there. Not the most comfortable beds but the room was clean and the pool area is really nice.

Everything was great! We stayed there for the West Texas Shakedown Car Show. The service at the front desk was phenomenal. The waitress/bartender was awesome, breakfast was great. But most importantly the cold air conditioner kept us cool all weekend long! We always stay here and will continue to do so every time we come to town

It was bad since arrival, I asked for a 1st floor room as my wife recently had a knee replaced and was using a walker, their response was, "you can walk back to the elevator and than you can walk around to the others side of the hotel to the room". My wife decided to try stairs, felt a few step easier than waking ask the other way. Once we got to the room, the room was a mess. When I called, I was told, the maintenance man just called and told us the room was not ready". The lady at the counter asked me to come for a new key, however, I told her that I was helping my wife and asked her to bring the key. This was a pretty bad stay and I travel a lot. I felt they were very inconsiderate and poorly prepared. I should have known this, as there was a client on the phone complaining to them for having overcharged her credit card. First and last time I stay here. My wife and I do come to visit out granddaughter, and my wife made the sacrifice because our granddaughter was graduating. P.S. I would have given a 0 star but it was not an option. This was not a handy-cap friendly place, at least not the clerks. I'm also disappointed with Expedia. I thought Expedia would research, explore or review the hotels. Tried to submit photos, but your app would not let me

Hotels overall is ok. The location to downtown and the river walk is good and convenient! It is walking distance to many places to eat and the Shannon Hospital. Hotels overall is dated and could use some renovation. Reasonable priced per night stay.

We were in San Angelo for a concert, so one night only. The staff was friendly, and the hotel room was clean. Everything worked great. We did not eat at the restaurant or breakfast. The parking was good; the parking lot was dark at night. It could feel a little unsecure, but no problems. The bed and pillows were hard. It took a while to get comfortable and fall asleep. There were other people who were loud outside our room past the quiet hours, but that is kind of expected at that type of hotel. It would be a great place to stay with kids. The things for them to do were inside in a secure location. There seemed to be a good selection for families. If we ever went to San Angelo with our grandkids, that is the place we ould stay.

Really the indoor pool area. And the front desk personnel were friendly and courteous. -‐- I thpught the breakfast buffet has 'slipped' from our previous stays. Eggs were terrible, sausage was edible but nothing like the time before. We didnt even go back to morning breakfast on the 2nd morning of our stay.

Staff was personable and while the property is dated, it was a perfect place for our grandkids to burn off some energy in and around the pool. The “all you can eat breakfast buffet” consisted of overcooked eggs and sausage but the staff was pleasant. We will use this location whenever we visit our family in SA.

We have stayed at The Pearl on the Concho 3 times now. The staff is very friendly, the pool and play area is so neat. Our kids love to stay here! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the mornings plentiful. There is a Texas shape waffle marker and cereal, along with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The restaurant on property is really good and reasonably priced. There is a bar on property also. Downtown San Angelo is very close. It’s easy to get to the fair grounds from the hotel.

Breakfast was supposed to be at 7am which is late for a weekday. I had to be somewhere on the northside of town by 8am. I arrived for breakfast 7:11 and nothing was ready. 7:15 they loaded the assembly line which gave me less than 15 min to eat so I could be at my event at 8.
