The pool was small but perfect for what we needed. It was very conveniently located to get to anything in San Angelo. The only issue we had was with the fridge either freezing or being too warm, but wasn’t too big of an issue and didn’t say anything until check out as it didn’t concern us too much. We had a train go through one night that startled us, but only once and we had a good laugh about it. We will definitely plan on staying here again when we come visit our son

Floor was dirty, shower was dirty, furniture was beat up, phone in room was broken, temp in room was set to 62 while it’s 45 outside, kids are crazy and wanted to try and swim but the pool, was open, was green and filthy with trash, sticks and other debris. Public bathroom was filthy as well. We will not being staying at that hotel again…

At check in there was a foul smell of sewer. The room had trash on the floor and looked like it hadn’t been properly swept or vacuumed. Hair, dirt and crumble around room and in bathroom. We all wore socks in the room before bed and the kids white socks were brown within half an hour. They need a deep cleaning.

This hotel is okay, at best. The shower had the pink pre-mold all around the edges, the carpets were stained, There were 3 total items on the breakfast. The staff was amazing though. Corporate needs to give this hotel a good deep clean.

This is a really nice hotel, very clean with friendly staff, and a good continental breakfast, which is what I expect when I visit a Wyndham. There were only 2 issues with the facility, one which was water pressure in the shower that seems to be a recurring issue no matter where you go, the second was a bit of a problem since i was there on business... The "high speed internet" was not, in fact, high speed. Download speed was 4Mbs, the upload speed was .25 Mbs which is slower than DSL!! I had files i needed to upload, but couldn't. Had to wait until I got home to complete my work 2 days late.

The first room we were assigned had a malfunctioning A/C. The second room we were assigned had strained bed covers, sheets and carpet. Also, it was dusty. KUDOS to person in charge. She was very nice. She came up to the room to see. She apologized and changed all the bedding for us. She offered us another room but we were very tired from traveling, so we stayed there. Breakfast was acceptable.

Wyndgate at Wyndham Hotel did a great job to accommodate my son and I for the 2 weeks that we stayed. They made sure that if I hand any concerns that they were addressed within the hour or few hours I was out. At first when I walked into the room it wasn't quite what I had expected. The room was a bit smaller than I had anticipated and a few of the amenities that I had thought I paid for were not there. Checking back on the original reservation, I found that was in my error and I overlooked this. Air conditioning was always kept cold and and at no point did I ever felt the room was too hot, even in Texas. The bathroom had the standard assortment of washes and soaps, hand towels and towels, and an overall good cleanliness about them. Despite the slightly smaller than expected size, the room handled anything my son and I could do. Hotel staff was always friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The housekeepers are the real rockstars. My room was cleaned, if not, fully cleaned by 9am; some of the fastest service I've ever had. Overall, my experience and expectations were exceeded and would highly recommend staying at the Wyndgate at Wyndham hotel.

The room was clean and the beds were soft. The pillows could use some work. I think they are old pillows and they stuff them tight into a pillow case to make them seem full and this makes the pillow half the size of a normal pillow. They are very small. I’d prefer a normal full or queen size pillow. The shower head in the restroom needs replaced. Pressure was not good. Those are the only things I can say they would be negative. Great stay otherwise.

Cold reception. I asked for view of front parking lot and got view of train tracks. Train woke me up at 2:30am which was not expected or welcome at all. Room was nice. Bed was nice.

Well maintained property and clean room. On a solo motorcycle trip. The morning I was to leave the battery had gone bad. After finding a replacement at an auto parts store one of the staff, Courtney, went out of her way and offered to run me up to the store to get the new battery. Much appreciation to Courtney for her kindness, and to management for allowing her to assist. Excellent customer service.

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to share. My family and I visited San Angelo for the first time, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. First, the night shift employee on 10/25/2024 displayed a lack of hospitality. She didn’t greet us, so I took the initiative to say hello, only to receive an uninterested look in return as if I was inconveniencing her. The room itself was shocking, especially the pull-out bed. The mattress looked like it had been pulled from a dumpster—stained and torn, making it the most unpleasant mattress I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Lastly, I requested an extra towel since the room was only equipped with two, even though there were three of us. When I asked for additional towels, the night shift employee questioned why I needed more and insinuated I should have received housekeeping services. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and only after a reluctant back-and-forth did she finally provide the towels. Overall, the lack of basic hospitality and cleanliness made for an unacceptable experience. I will never stay at this facility again.” This employee work on the night of 10/25/2024.

We paid cash for 2 nights. On our 2nd day when we returned to our room our keys would not work. Come to find out they didn’t have record of us staying a 2nd night and had checked our room out and given keys to someone else. All of our stuff was still in the room. After some discussion with the lady at the desk our room was given back to us with proof that we had paid for 2 nights. However they still had no record of us in the system. The next morning at 8:45 someone tried to open our door with a room key but luckily we had the safety lock on. They did end up refunding my money for one night but it was a very frustrating and not safe feeling situation for me and my child.

The Wingate is where I usually stay when I travel to San Angelo. It’s clean and well-maintained. It’s located by many restaurants and the football stadiums for both the high schools and Angelo State. The staff is so friendly.

I loved my stay here. Courtney was very helpful and understanding. My children and I have no complaints. They enjoyed the pool and breakfast! The only issue I had was that during breakfast an employee was kind of rude to someone else’s child. I’m sure she’s the one that makes the breakfast because she was watching us and what we were doing the entire time. Kind of weird but we liked that she made sure breakfast was fresh.

The room was very comfortable, the beds were super soft, and the pillows were substantial in that they were good so sleeping and weren’t paper thin. I’ve never had a better night’s sleep in a hotel. There were plenty of other guests but you never heard a peep while in the room. I definitely plan on using these hotels in the future. The only thing I would change is the continental breakfast. There were tortillas for the eggs but no hot sauce or salsa.

A bit disappointing. Superficially, it looked okay but there were a few issues. The water flow from the sink taps was almost non-existent, the beds (and pillows) weren't that comfortable and the breakfast was very limited (the worst we have encountered on the 3 week trip).
