Very enjoyable stay. Clean rooms and courteous staff. Nice breakfast with balanced options and great recommendations at the front desk for restaurants, public transport and things to do in New Orleans (e.g. Taco del Cartel, street car payment through RTA LePass app). Self-parking was also convenient in the building adjacent to the hotel which was a separate fee. Swimming pool in the Regency part of the hotel was smaller than expected but very clean. Cozy fitness room on the floor supplied with all the necessary equipment, drinking water and towels.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt House. Julio, the bartender, is fantastic. Maid services are by request, but upon check-in we indicated we'd like maid service during our visit as there were three of us staying in the room, which means you go through towels pretty quickly, and they scheduled that daily for us. The set up of the hotel is rather strange though. It is connected with the Hyatt Regency, and finding the pool was a challenge at first (and quite a hike). There are two separate elevators, one from the street entrance to the "lobby", which is on the 11th floor, and another for room access and access to the Hyatt Regency. We didn't end up going to the pool much because of this. Other items: Breakfast is included with your stay. It wasn't incredible but there are options so pretty much everyone should be able to find something to eat. Location of the hotel is quite good - however, there was a concert at the Smoothie King arena while we were there which made parking in the garage a nightmare, as the garage is also used for event parking.

With the trouble we had getting to and from the parking garage, bouncing from elevator to elevator and then stairs to actually get to the parking garge I would have already rated this hotel pretty low for any parent traveling with small children and strollers. Not to mention the onsite parking is at a minimum 15$ for an hour all the way up to 35 dollars max once you exceed 12 hours. With fluctuations during superdome/smoothie king center events. So dang near everyday. I would recommend the hotel just charges guest 35$ daily at least then it is a flat rate, however thats not the case and only staying 3 nights 2 full days and leaving with a charge of parking over a 100 dollars is wild.

I purposely got my room at this hotel because of the pool. I had a 5 year old with me that wanted NOTHING more than to go swimming. There was no reason for the pool to be closed for over 24 hours in July.

Don’t book this place for the pool. It is shaded most of the day , loud and cold. Rooms are ok. Breakfast below average. Location is good.

The hotel was spacious and clean. The lobby being on the 10th? Floor was a little different. The free breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The only negative is Parking…. Paid only and if you want to be able to leave and come back you will need to download the Parking app prior to entering the parking structure nest door.(you will save money).

Outrageous amount of different fees and taxes. Very confusing and lengthy check in process and the WORST part is the fact that you have to pay $47 a day for parking. The hotel should accommodate free parking cause where else is someone someone supposed to park when staying in a hotel?

I loved that it was quiet. it smelled like wet dog throughout the halls. there is an unexpected 100$ deposit when i checked and parking is 35$ per day. other than that i enjoyed the quietness.

I had a layover on the train and the location was great. It was very close to the train station. It was also close to the French quarter. I was able to walk there which I didn’t mind. The hotel was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay at this hotel and I love it. I don’t wanna go anywhere else when I visit New Orleans. Everything was nice and clean. The view was beautiful, the beds was comfortable, the ladies at the front desk was very polite and helpful. I love the breakfast too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. I can’t wait to come back.

Hotel is extremely difficult to maneuver. No on street check in and getting luggage to the 11th floor to check in is ridiculous. No mention of this in any communication from the Hotel emails received from the hotel. The outlets in our room would not hold a plug, carpet around thermostat was wet and the carpet, and furniture was stained and marred. Advertised small eats and cocktails from 4-6. Which we thought were complimentary, but were at our cost.

Located on one of the main street in downtown business area. A short ride from Port NOLA cruise terminal. Beautiful relaxing area next to reception (on 11th floor) with lots of seats and city view. Room was quiet, spacious and new. Beds were very comfortable. The in room microwave and fridge were very helpful. The door of the shower room can not be closed tightly so the water leaked and flooded the floor. The breakfast was very nice. Did not use the pool. It looks very nice too.

We wouldn’t stay here again. It wasn’t as advertised unfortunately. Our room was dirty and we had two workers enter without knocking, one while I was in the shower and one right after we checked in while we were changing. Our room had a lot of cosmetic problems and wasn’t very clean. It was unfortunately a disappointing stay.

We love staying at the Hyatt House. However, this particular room was just OK. We usually have a kitchenette in our room with an island. This room didn't have that. The toilet paper holder kept falling off making the toilet paper go into the trash and the toilet is almost touching the shower. It feels tight. We also saw a small roach in the room. So, a little disappointed. But everything else was nice including the pool area, service at the front desk and breakfast is good here. Overall, from my usually 10/10, I would say this time it was a 8/10.

The room and service was quite nice. The elevator from ground to lobby was small and slow though and takes time. But, the main issue with the room was a pipe knocking sound that happened randomly. Maybe it was for water delivery to higher floors, but it happened late at night and we didn't have time/desire to bother to change rooms.

Close to Smoothie King Arena, where I attended a concert. Room is spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Shower amenities are good quality, even for my wavy hair. Also, loved the fact that I could set the room temperature. As I’m perimenopausal, this is an important feature.

Not sure why the reviews are so positive. Institutional feeling lobby located on 11th floor, so two elevator trips required to get in and out of room. No employees at street level to greet guests. Dark rooms made darker by a billboard skin on the facade of the building that darkens the windows. Windowless fitness center. Overall, a dreary experience in a beautiful city.

Staff always seemed to be people whos first language was NOT English. Consequently, I found myself asking the same questions in different ways just to get a basic answer...as if they didn't understand that the snarky, dismissive answers they THOUGHT they were providing with a sarcastic smile, wasn't addressing my concern! I also found it ridiculous that you can't take one elevator from the ground floor, to the 17th floor (where I was), but you have to get off on the 11th floor, then walk around the corner to the other elevators to make it up there. Oh, and if you want ice in your room, theres only one machine...on the 14th floor. Minor inconveniences, but this isn't the motel 6! So, If you're going to charge customers the price, it should be a lot more accommodating. Other than that, breakfast was wonderful and everything else was nice and clean

The staff went well beyond by helping me n my 16yo son. My wife, his mother passed while on our father/son vacation. We live in NJ. Wildwood, where she lay having a heart attack and my 11yo son who called me and for help for mom. I couldn't get home sooner, they tried so hard, and were extra accommodating to my son and I. We were having fun until it was ruined. I pray that i can afford one day to bring both boys back where they aren't sure if they could go. I must get them on that horse and your staff is who id love them to be around if i can do it. Thank you for being human n helpful.

We were arrived almost midnight and the clerk at check in was very friendly but fast , asked her not to put us on the 13th floor and she gave us highhet floor and nice view. I think her name is kailya, she’s super nice and professional!

The property is beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt House. I did have a minor inconvenience due to some noisy neighbors but the front desk staff moved me immediately and made no qualms about it. There was free breakfast every morning as well. I loved my stay and I would recommend.

A great hotel about 10/15 mins walk from the main streets. We felt it was a really safe area with good transport links. Bus stop to airport was 5 min walk away. You enter at street level and use an elevator to go to 11th floor where reception is. Great breakfast each morning, did get a little busy at weekend. Room was large, clean and provided everything we needed.

Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for the trip. Many restaurants are nearby, and a Starbucks is on the second floor! Many previous reviews complained about the parking. However, we purchased the parking ahead of time ($35/day for non-festival seasons), and there is a connection between the parking structure and the hotel. So it is still very convenient for us!

We've been to this hotel more than once and each time is a great one. Quick check in, spacious and quiet rooms. Close to nearby shops and food. Complimentary breakfast is always good. My husband loves to order the omelets, Yes made to order omelet! Also grits, oatmeal, bacon, pancakes, eggs are all available. Large dining area for seating, but it does fill up quickly depending on what's going on in the city, since the Superdome is a 5 minute walk. This time we had a king bed with a shower, which the bathroom was a bit smaller than the 2 queen bedroom with the tub/shower combo, but it's still nice and spacious. We'll be back for sure, just because of the convenience of the location and the friendly staff.
