Knob Hill Motor Lodge

My room had all the important requirements, clean sheets, bathroom, and floors. Shower had hot water and great water pressure. The owner was kind enough to allow me keep my flowers outside on the sidewalk in front of my room. Nice and friendly old style motor lodge that were so prominent in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s.

Great value. Cute old style rooms and friendly staff.

Very quaint

Room wasn't bad except for the tub not draining... Staff had a great attitude, super nice... problem... they charge a $50 deposit which you get back when you check out... they were supposed to give my deposit back on my card... instead he gave me cash... waited until we were over an hour away and called and wanted us to drive back to give the cash back...we we heading to meet family that hasn't been seen in a while...had a time limit to get there...and then he added it back to my card...was demanding us turn around right then...told him we couldn't turn around...told him we would send it back electronically...he still demanded we bring back...told him we had no problem giving it back... that's why we were going to send it electronically...he wouldn't do that so we told him he would have to wait until we were finished with what we were doing.....we had to drive 3hrs to give it back... won't be staying there again.

Knob Hill was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The proprietor was friendly, nice and helpful. The room was not like being in a resort, but was clean and adequate. We stayed for two nights and probably would go there again.
