The valet service was very disappointing! Upon check in the staff told us to call down 15 mins prior to needing our vehicle yet we called in preparation for check out and still waited for over 30-45 minutes for them to “locate” our car. Absolutely ridiculous! It is evident that the communication among the staff is subpar. It is a very unique setup for a hotel. Lobby is on the 3rd floor and for 40 dollars a day you have to randomly park your car on some side street and then take it to the front desk and this is considered “Valet”. What a rip off!

This is a property with limited amenities. There’s one restaurant. Once coffee service stops, you have to go outside to buy it from local shops. There’s a very small pool. The tiles surrounding the pool has no grit making it dangerously slippery.There’s no gym on site. Guest have fitness access at the Loews hotel across the street. The valet staff were super nice, polite and professional. The young man who checked me in was also very professional. The hotel isn’t beach facing but walking distance to ocean drive and beach access.

This hotel is truly a Gem in South Beach! The staff is amazing and friendly and willing to help with any issues that may arise. The location is perfect and they offer beach loungers at no additional cost. The beach loungers aren’t your typical beach loungers which you take from the hotel and set up at the beach they are already set up at the beach which makes it convenient and easy.

Hotel was completely under construction but for inside our room. Pool closed. Elevator not working. No cafe or breakfast. Honestly, just close down and finish the work before allowing guests in. Room itself was very nice but we paid for many amenities we didn’t actually have access to with the construction.

Staff was very welcoming and inviting. Paying extra for parking is never fun but understandable. Only downside is walking across the street through the other hotel to show proof to enter the beach.

The property is convenient to the public beach access, across from a paid parking garage ( $20 daily- no in and out), a few street parking spaces, and very close restaurants/bakery. The hotel offers free bike rentals, clean towels, the pool, and gym access ( in the Loews Hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was so clean and spacious. Overall, definitely a great hotel to stay at!

The property is in the heart of South Beach, and the hotel room is modern and clean. The only negative Comment I have is that parking and getting your car is tough as there is little parking space To leave your car and the valet is overwhelmed.

Overall, the place was just ok. We paid over $500 a night and at that price I expected a nice room. The bathroom shower floor looked terrible as a patch job with putty was a quick fix for a leak. The shower leaked water all over the floor each time it was used. The floors in the room where like vinyl plank and we’re not clean as there was grit on them.

Hairs were found on the pillow after the room was cleaned. Water marks were on the faucet and the sink was obviously not cleaned. The number of towels are not as it should be.

This hotel was perfection! Walking distance to great amenities including the beach, restaurants, coffee shop. Beautiful interior and very clean rooms. The staff though make this hotel as great as it is. They are extremely kind and helpful! We would definitely stay again.

The room was ok. Furniture was older. When we arrived and I checked the bed, there was hair all over the sheets from top to bottom. Staff did come and change the sheets when asked. The room was smaller than expected. My stay was ok.

I am not sure but I think the bed in room 402 has lice. The day I checked in and spent the night I started to itch. The itching lasted all though out my stay. Also, if you’re planning on getting some work done in the room note that the lighting is bad, not enough lighting. Other than that, the room is OK.

I booked ocean view but it is actually partial ocean views. The sea through the window is far away from the hotel. The hotel is small. The pool is also very small. The room does not have slippers, bathrobe, shower cap, toothbrush. I asked for them the first day I came. I got them on the third day. I need to keep calling the front desk. It also took a very long time for the front desk to answer the call because there is only one front desk. The room’s floor is also dirty. It is also noisy. I can hear the music every night from the other rooms of the same floor. All the housekeepings do not speak English. It is really inconvenient. Everyday, they came really early. I need to use a translator to ask them to come later, but they never came back. I need to call the front desk to ask them to come, and it took like an hour. The room does not have heating. We need to turn off the air conditioning to keep warm, but the housekeeping always came and turned it on, to like 65 degrees. Overall, the hotel and the service does not worth this price at all! Book a better one nearby!

The room was spacious and well maintained. However, there were no dresser drawers and I had to essentially live out of my suitcase. Also my companion and I arrived after midnight because of a flight delay and we could not raise anyone to let us into the building for a half hour. We thought we were going to have to sleep in the car. Other than that, the staff were generally helpful.

If you want to use the gym, you have to go to the lobby everyday and get a get a card, walk across the street to the Loews and go to their hotel. They advertise a gym but technically it’s not theirs. The pool was nice but very small for hotels in that area, but if you don’t like big party pools that one is ok. Our bathroom door was on a roller that wasn’t working properly and it would roll open unless we messed around with it for awhile or placed a towel to keep it from opening. We made the best of our experience but I would not personally go back there.

Great place. Only 2 things that we didn't find great... reception is on 3rd floor so if you come after 10pm you have to call to be let in. And the bathroom has barn doors and is open on top so, unfortunately, the other person can hear everything.

LOVED our stay!! The Hyatt Centric SB had the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The best sleep I’ve had in a hotel with the most comfortable bed and pillows. Really enjoyed the Netflix capability.

We stayed on the top floor and had both a city and ocean view. It was beautiful and quiet with amazing views! The location was also so close to the beach, Lincoln Road shopping and tons of restaurants. We took the complimentary bikes on the beach walk one morning, which was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely stay there again.

What I liked about the Hyatt was the way the staff worked to get to make my stay easy and comfortable. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like was my TV kept going out but I think that was a service issue. Hyatt Centric south beach will always get my stay.

The valet service was very disappointing! Service was horrible. We need to wait for check in for 2 hours after 4PM. Service desk person Jack Morris was very rude. I will never suugest this hotel to anybody. My money got wasted. Thanks

I asked the clerk about the shopping options around the hotel. He answered: there are plenty of stores; you can check on Google. Homeless people on almost every street. The hotel entrance looks like a back door or a service entrance, next to a parking garage. The hotel is expensive considering the location and the services you receive.

Front desk staff was very rude. Jack Morris was front desk lead and behaved very rudely. I reached at 4 pm and had to wait more than 2 hours to get room. They checked me in after 7 pm. My room key did not work initially and luggage was misplaced. Very bad experience.

When i asked about my room being ready since i was already waiting 90 minutes, the middle aged African American woman at the desk told me she didn't know about my room since she didnt work housekeeping. The Hispanic desk giy finally got me a room at 5:50 pm! Well after our scheduled 4pm check in time. I asked for a breakfast voucher or a drink ticket and all he offered was 2 bottles of water which are free anyway. Terrible service.

The location is perfect..walkable to anywhere, with the beach across the street. The staff was great, especially Erasimo, the bellman. He helped us several times throughout our stay and we were extremely impresses by his professionalism and hospitality!

We liked the location and the hotel’s beach and gym amenities’ connection with the Loews Hotel (right across the street with easy access to both. The hotel was clean and the dailyaid service was reliable. Hotel js walk-ably convenient to just about everywhere we like to go in South Beach and there was just enough “action” on the pool deck to make it fun to hang out. The only disappointment was that there was no nightlife in the hotel and a couple of times when I wanted a drink, the bartender was nowhere to be found and the one time I stumbled into her, the drink was not good. Overall, this is a good value and the location is very good. If you need constant action, maybe beat to go across the street and oay an extra $100 a night.

Check in was a breeze and they were able to answer any questions I had. The hotel restaurant was doing renovations, but was told there was breakfast being served on the 2nd floor if I wanted to go there. I did go to the beach and showed my key card to have access to the chairs and towels that were there. Uber was fast weather ordering something to eat or showing up to give me a ride. There is plenty of restaurants and Lincoln Mall was just a short walk away. Overall great experience and the staff was wonderful.
