The rooms were clean and comfortable. Right in the heart of the Gaslamp district. Convenient to a lot of sights, restaurants and shops. The only reason I would probably not stay here again is it was very loud at night until the wee hours. That’s just not my jam anymore. I wouldn’t stay in the Gaslamp district again. If you’re going to stay in this area, this is a great hotel!

Overall, it is 3 Star. Hotel is older so knew it wouldn't be great. Room was clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom & shower comfortable & clean. An amenity is a free bottle of still water; my bottle was open and drank out of. So they brought us two. Asked for different room bc 1st was meh! Rey quickly chose a better room for us. When we asked where gym/pool facilities were, they said not on site. They have a relationship with Fit gym. It's basically 7 walking blocks away. Not so bad if you're going to gym to work out. But problem is they give you 1 pass, and say it's only 1 per day. And per Z, it isn't an all day access pass, it's 1 time, so go in & leave, you can't go back in. However, gym says you can go back in, but said you have to bring a new pass each time. I told the hotel that and the hotel said, well Fit doesn't dictate our policy. And if we issue a new pass more than once a day, we have to pay them more than once for a day pass. And if you don’t use a pass, you lose it. Asked for 3pm check out. One staff said $50 fee. Another said $75 per hr after 1pm

This place is cool in downtown , easy walk to a lot of places. I don’t want to leave a positive review because I don’t want prices to increase and people to book this place before I can. It is perfect for a cozy room , love the lay out simple. The staff is freaking rad and great attitudes. I will put one disclaimer there is no on site parking so you have to park one light over but the walk is not bad, the homeless is pretty bad around the area but it doesn’t effect the hotel.
