The motel was clean and very comfortable. The staff were great! The rooms are bit outdated but location to beach, pool, jet express and restaurants was great!! The beachfront was nice also, hotel supplied lounge chairs and view was amazing! Wearing shoes on the beach however was a must as there were so many shells and it hurt to walk on them. We will definitely be back!

The check in time is a little late (3 to 4pm), but they will let you go on the beach to wait, which was lovely. There's also a beach front restaurant right next door. Wonderful stay, friendly staff!

Great property, great staff, and while it may not be a Marriott or Hilton it is a great place to stay and walk on the lake front beach. The restaurant on site has c really great food that is made fresh.

Location was perfect. Pros… It’s next to a nice restaurant on the beach. Next to the jet skis (my kids rented). Right on the beach. Decor in room was nice. Cons… people right outside your window smoking. Kids running upstairs sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. Mold in the bathroom. Beds were terrible! Stayed 3 nights and everyone had back aches by time we left.

The room was not very clean. Floor definitely had not been cleaned there were smear marks on walls could have been food or something else. Pilllws on chairs were stained where you could see they had tried to be wiped down but we wouldn’t sit on them.

The room did not feel clean, floor was dirty, i was charged a few dollars more than my commitment was for, staff was pleasant, advertised free breakfast but didn't find, no coffee cups for in room coffee, inside fridge dirty. I shouldn't have stayed there but it was a busy week and pickings were slim.

Older but very quaint. Loved the decor and being right on the beach! Room was spacious and clean. On the down side, we came in about 7pm and we had to check in across the street at a different hotel, which took us a bit to figure out. There were no outside lights and walking up to the 2nd floor was tricky in the dark for 2 older adults. But I’d stay here again!

The hotel is right on a private beach in Port Clinton. A short walk on this Lake Erie beach brings you to a nice and fun restaurant, Dock’s Beach House. The room was clean and decorated so nicely. We would definitely return.

The view of Lake Erie is beautiful! The hotel has a beachy, boutique vibe. It is very clean! The only drawback is that it's an older facility; the bathroom light/fan is super loud & the beds were really firm. For a night or two this is a great stay just for the view of the lake!! Feels like you're on an ocean. We stayed mid October on a Monday, the town is all mostly closed on Monday/Tuesday. So that was a bummer.

There were only a few of us staying and a lot of rooms empty but people were put in a room upstairs from us so we could hear them all night long also my sister left her pillow so we called and asked if it could be mailed if we payed for the shipping but was told she would get charged an additional 15.00 for them to take it to get shipped. Where is the hospitality? 15.00 to take it to the post office the boxes are free. We were very dissappointed in that. Also they didnt have any ice.

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront resort in Port Clinton! From the moment I booked, the staff impressed me with their courteous service — they even called ahead to personally provide check-in details, which made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. Access to the beach couldn’t have been easier — just steps away from my room, making it perfect for a morning stroll or an evening by the water. Absolutely lovely stay! The staff was very friendly and the setting right on Lake Erie is just perfect. Dock’s next door was perfect place to walk over in your beach cover-up and have dinner. Delicious food. Hotel and restaurant, 10 out of 10!

We had a WONDERFUL weekend stay! The motel was very clean and well kept! The front desk lady was very nice and very helpful. The beach area was spectacular, clean and so relaxing. Docks next door had such great food. We both were so impressed with this little hotel we will definetly be back. We loved every minute there and hated to leave!

The Hotel contacted me saying there would be a wedding on site. I'm familiar with that so no big deal. What was a big deal was the loud speaker blaring music and people yelling at the fire pit outside my room from 2:30-4:30 am. They woke up the whole family. So I called the hotel but nobody was working. In the morning they said I was supposed to call the Commodore their sister hotel. That would have been nice to know beforehand. I asked for a late checkout since we couldn't sleep, they gave us till noon.

The staff was great and very professional and helpful. However, the listing online listed that a complimentary breakfast was included, and it was not. We had to leave the premises and purchase breakfast elsewhere. As this was one of the reasons we selected this hotel, it was very disappointing to be misled this way and frankly they owe us the $55 we had to spend eating out.
