Carmel Fireplace Inn

Quaint hotel - very convenient walking distance to everything we did.

It’s very charming place from the outside, but it really needs to upgrade the basics inside the rooms, simple things like showers, sinks, and furnitures.

The fireplace is great to keep our room cozy and warm. We were not able to park in the hotel parking lot but were lucky to park on road side close to the hotel. The location is perfect to walk around Carmel. Enjoy the stay.

Everything! The lady at the front desk was so patient with me. The room was adorable. Loved the cozy fireplace. Will definitely stay here again.

We were disappointed in the room we got. It didn't look anything like the photo online and had an odd layout with a second bathroom. There was a lot of rust on the wall where the bath was in the main bathroom that was unsightly. There is no guaranteed parking; the lot only allows ~10 cars to park and if it is full, then you have to park on the street where the parking is 2 hours from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. We were also annoyed that the windows to our room looked out to a parking spot where cars other than ours could park literally parallel with our windows. There were also no extra amenities with this inn... One of the only nice things about this place was the walking distance to downtown Carmel, but there are many options for that if that is what you are looking for.
