The rooftop patio and bar are amazing! Staff was helpful and inviting. The elevators are too slow--especially on opening the door. Stair access was hidden and difficult to find.

Staff speak and interact with guests in a very “cool, casual” way, which lacks service and friendliness. We complained about slow internet (too slow for a video call) and the lady at reception hung up on me after saying she will raise it with the team. Nobody ever followed up. The restaurant and roof top terrace were closed for one entire night due to a private event, which is a shame when you’re advertising it to customers. There was mentioning of gym usage however the gym was a 17 minute walk from the hotel.

It was very loud at night. Didn’t realize there was a rooftop club. Also no gym.

Absolutely loved my stay here! It was in walking distance to everything on my itinerary and getting ride share service was so easy. The parking was on the same block as the hotel which was a plus. The staff was so friendly and nice. Also the convenience store in the lobby was lovely as well. I will definitely be staying again!

Disappointed that the rooftop bar was not open as we had booked the hotel specifically and were told when we checked in that it would be open. The cocktails were amazing and loved the teacup coming from England! Booked the Yurt for dinner and a great experience. Unfortunately the room was dusty and I drew a smiley face so the cleaner would notice the dust. However I believe that people make places and for this you would get the gold award.

Great for a solo traveler who wants to stay in that particular area. That said, bathrooms do not provide privacy if you’re with someone. It’s a sliding glass door and there are gaps that you can clearly see the person using toilet. I also booked the hotel because it had a rooftop bar/restaurant which we were not able to use. I found out every Saturday they have these parties/special events with a DJ/club music and you could hear it and FEEL it from my room on the 8th floor. Fortunately it ended around 10. I’ve found that this is the case with most NYC hotel rooftops. Best to ask before you book if this is a problem for you. Still, hotel bed was comfortable and room clean

Arlo Hotel SoHo was perfect. If you want the location this is a great hotel.Clean, cute bar plus rooftop bar and lounging areas. The rooms are extremely small so it’s not a hotel for spending time in rooms but honestly cute and well laid out and good value for money. The staff were outstanding!!! The bodega was the best, coffee and tea and snacks open 24 hours.

Great location in the heart of downtown - walkable to awesome and trendy restaurants. Rooftop and restaurant access adds to hotel the experinece. Rooms are small-- best for a short stay.

The property is nice, the rooms are that very trendy new IKEA-concept style. Hard floor, bed snug on the wall, industrial shower stall, sink in the main room. The roof-top bar was fun, the french fries looked great, but we had a dinner reservation somewhere else so we couldn't try. Would on a second visit. Canned water is in the mini fridge free of charge.

We stayed at the Arlo for a night and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, warm and accommodated us leaving luggage until check in. The rooms were clean, and the property was well maintained, easily accessible and also away from the hustle. We will sure stay here again!!

The property was good. The room was on the small side which was normal for NYC, but there was a nice view. The only complaint was cleanliness. The furniture surrounding the bed was dusty. The comforter was stained and the towels were not clean.

Hallway floor is dirty, library room silly because none of the books are actually readable. Aesthetics are not so good. And in somewhat a state of disrepair. Trying to be hip but not actually designed well or actually stylish. Too much money for a hotel that’s not in great shape and The design is for hallway filled with chairs stored walls scuffed et cetera.

We have been staying at the Arlo properties since it opened. it has been our hotel of choice when we visit, but this recent trip was very disappointing. The rooms are no longer fresh and it feels very run down. While the location is great and the food and bar are also great, sleeping in a room with a mildew bathroom with broken pumps for the toiletries in the shower is simply not worth the overnight stay especially for the price point.

The room was dirty. Towels were not clean. I felt very uncomfortable staying there. It was so disgusting that I left after the first night. Do not use this hotel. Name is misleading..not even in SoHo.

Great location. Clean place. You could smell the hotel from the street, it was great! Safe area. Near many stores to shop and the piers to run. Will come back if in the area again!

Not well maintained, bedsheets stained, broken outlet plugs beeping all night long. Dirty towels with threads hanging on them.

Short stay hotel was very clean and comfy just a little smaller then I’d liked but overall 9.7/10

Room was small but perfectly laid out. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the staff were very friendly.

when they say this is a micro room they’re not kidding around so the toilet and the shower are basically in the room with you as well as the bathroom sink. There is not a separate bathroom so be prepared if you’re with a family member or a friend and you have to go to the bathroom…. They are going to pretty much partake in that experience. These rooms are great if you’re solo but if you’re not, thumbs down. on the positive side the rooftop bar is great love the froze and the restaurant and lounge on the first floor or very nice definitely a hipster vibe, conveniently located and not noisy at all.

We loved our stay at the The Arlo. We booked the king room with a balcony and it was literally a sun deck with two lounge chairs and an out door shower with a view of the Hudson. Amazing. It was a perfect place for an afternoon nap before we went to the Masquerade Ball we attended in NYC. Really comfy beds.

Good hotel overall. Would recommend. Rooms are small but do the job if you’re planning to be out. If you have a room facing the court yard, you won’t be able to sleep due to the noise (until midnight-ish which would have been good to know. Otherwise happy with the offering and good value for money for NY and the area.

The bed was against the wall like a bunk Very difficult for 2 people The room was so tiny we could barely move around. Loved the staff but won’t go back due to bed configuration and size of room. The bathroom sink was in the middle of the room

I only pick this hotel as a last resort if the price is ok, because it’s close to work. The rooms are insultingly small considering what you’re paying- there’s legitimately not enough space for 2 ppl + one suitcase each. The most recent stay was made worse by the front desk staff a) making me feel dumb for asking why the fee was higher than I expected- they said it’s b/c of the security hold, well don’t you think it would have helped us both out if you told me that before asking me to swipe my card? And b) later when I politely asked if I could eat my own food on the roof deck (b/c the rooms are minuscule), front desk said “you can try”. So lame.

Good option for a city hotel in SoHo but not in the middle of all the mess of SoHo (5 mins walk). The room was small but large enough for 1 person and comfortably furnished.

The location, the lounges and rooftop deck were very cute, well designed and conveniently located - but the rooms were insanely small for 2 people. The sink was by the bed and the WC was a few feet away divided with only a frosted glass panel resulting in a lack of privacy. The decor was minimal and clean, but so basic. Not a robe or any sense of luxe which would mirror the nightly fee. It was just OK.

The hotel had good amenities. The room was small and the bathroom door was not private. The room was extremely noisy, you could hear honking from 2-6 pm due to cars trying to get into Holland tunnel. We appreciated the early check-in even with a fee.

I really loved this hotel! When I got there I couldn't check in yet but the front desk staff was really friendly and let me store my bags so I was able to go enjoy the day. I honestly can't say enough about the staff there. The room size was perfect for me and I loved how modern everything was. The fortune cookies in the room were a fun little touch. It's really close to the subway and a lot of things were within walking distance. It was a pretty quiet area but I felt safe even late at night. I would definitely stay here again. It's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed.

Great stay! 2nd time at this location. Staff is very attentive and great at local suggestions. Nice area close to everything! Great perk is they will accept your luggage if you arrive before check in or after check out to allow you time to explore. Also made me feel special for my birthday! Had balloons in the room upon arrival 🙂

Have staff let us know more about the property with the outlets like the speakeasy cocktail lounge the restaurants how long the rooftop bar is open things like that will help us understand the city and the property a little bit more

Okay, hotel in a nice Tribeca location. Like most of these hotels, high-priced sardine can rooms. The remodel they did was super sloppy with paint drips on nearly everything but the style was nice. A nice restaurant in the hotel and small shop in the lobby for snacks. The front desk was slammed nearly every time we walked through the hotel and check-in was very, very slow. The room was double booked and they turned our key cards off and we had to go through a 25 minute ordeal to get things figured out. In general, an okay hotel, $350/night doesn’t get you much anymore in NYC.

I had such a great experience at the Arlo SoHo. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The location couldn’t be better — close to great restaurants and shops! The overall vibe was stylish yet comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very cute, it's fairly close to good restaurants and shopping, it's clean, and the staff are amazing. The front desk staff were honestly the highlight of the stay. The only bummer was that they emailed us ahead of time offering early check in for a fee, which we took them up on right away. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were told that we couldn't check in early and to come back when regular check in starts, at 3pm. When we returned at 3pm, the room still wasn't ready and we had to wait another 30 min. Other than this hiccup, the hotel was nice and we would come back.

The hotel overall is nicely appointed and modern. It also had a pleasant scent upon check in. The issue lies with the staff. I arrived at 2:00PM, earlier than the stated 3PM check in. After waiting briefly in line, I was told that while it I was there early the room should be ready in 45 and to wait in the seating area. I did as such. I waited in line again at 2:45 and was told the room was still not ready. I waited the additional 15 minutes for the actual check in time. Once again waited in line, and was told the room was still going through a quality check. Another 15 minutes, another wait in line and I finally get to check in. I overhead a staffer telling another guest with the similar issue that she would be compensated for the lateness in the room being ready. I interjected and asked if I should expect the same. She said the check in time is 3:30PM which is was not and then said that no one should have told me that it would be ready sooner, expect that is what the staff member right next to her said to me. She then confirmed with him that he said such things and she said do not do that again to him. The room pictures are misleading on the size of the rooms. It felt more like being in a train car than a hotel. There is a also a strange toilet shower room combo which to me is unsanitary and a breading ground for mold. Even with compensation I think should received but likely won't; I think that in the future will stay at Dream hotel.

The service at this hotel is top notch. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and/or responsive. Nyla, Al, Rohan, and Dashi stand out but so many were lovely. The rooms are tiny. The halls crowded with cleaning supplies but the service and staff are lovely.

The ARLO was located in an excellent location, close to everything. The staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful hotel and in a great spot to walk around Soho/ Manhattan or hop on the subway

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the space and how the staff is friendly and approachable. I never felt like I was a burden for requesting something. All of the staff I encountered were attentive and helpful. Everyone did their job with a smile. It is convenient too cause there is a pizza parlor right next door and their vodka and pesto sauce slice is delicious. Subway only like a 5 minute walk. Anything you’d need you can walk there within 10-15 minutes too. We got the bunk bed room which I was surprised the bathroom was very much close to the beds. It’s separated by a glass wall so if you’re staying there, just no privacy is not really a thing. Besides that, hotel provided everything we needed. Would recommend to others to stay here!

The location is great for walking and nearby subways. The only thing is it’s located near the Holland tunnel entrance and people are constantly honking horns. The hotel is very nice and comfortable…

Great location. Walkable to the Hudson, Greenwich and SOHO.

To taxi to the hotel takes forever as it’s right next to the tunnel and it’s always full of traffic. The lift is very slow and old and the corridor and the carpet does not look sharp. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The rooms facing the inside garden is noisy with the restaurant until 10. The staff are nice and helpful.

Everything was excellent!! We were greeted with a friendly smile and that carried through with every encounter we had. The restaurant, Linden’s were we enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable with free water and even fortune cookies. Check out was just as friendly as check in. We will be back!!

Nice and comfortable, in a familiar way. Great communication, inviting me for drinks, movie nights etc. Fantastic avocado toast for breakfast and a bartender who knew how to make a coctail.

WOW! ARLO is amazing from the first step in to my check our very very early. I LOVE IT HERE. I will come back a lot on business. I loved the restaurant. It was soothing. The mural mudra was especially beautiful in the courtyard, as was the delicious cuisine. The room was cozy and so very clean.

A gem of a find. The hotel is clean, food was fantastic and the rooftop bay impressive. We stayed in a balcony room on the 9th floor. I was a little surprised how compact the room was on arrival but soon settled in and found the space functional and had what we needed for an enjoyable stay. I did ask for a kettle and this arrived as I always travel with my own coffee/tea - that first morning cup is a must for me! The hairdryer was ok and the toiletries provided were very nice, with the hand wash being a nice addition to your standard offerings. One highlight would be the breakfast experience made extra special by both Zulu and Levi during our stay. Thank you and I recommend the bacon, egg and cheese - a delight!

This property was in a nice location. The front desk staff were warm and hospitable. The room was average. Average toiletries, average decor. It was fine, just not what I had envisioned for a 4 star hotel with a supposed VIP package. The Holiday Inn in Jackson Michigan has equal comfort, cleanliness, and service. also note: Staying on a sunday evening and returning after a show left no dining options as everything is closed at ten pm.
