Very pleasant first time stay. Nice lobby, friendly staff. Rooms are a little tight but expected for city center hotel. If you take a walking tour they meet just a block away so very convenient location. If you have a car, parking is available in a private garage for a discounted price a couple blocks away. Front desk gives you a pass each time you want to take the car out of the garage. No in/out privileges.

Property is in an amazing location. Big room and beds with plenty of amenities. Only issue was the very tricky parking and loading situation. The parkade had a broken lift so luggage was a nightmare to deal with no matter how you cut it.

We enjoyed the hotel lobby. It allowed us to have family game nights after a busy day. We could have beverages food and hot drinks. Rooms were good. Hotel staff always very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very convenient for bus, train travel and enjoying the many things the city had to offer.

The sausages & bacon were delicious! in fact everything I ate and drank at the hotel was delicious. The hotel room was spotless. Good selection of drinks in my room, and great to have complimentary drinks in the bar Loved the pool table. Made the evening lots of fun which doesn't normally happen on a business trip.

Rooms are nice and comfortable and the hotel is well located for a visit of Glasgow. We have had an issue with the parking. The ticket provided did not work and we had to pay to get out. This is unfortunate.

Great location in the centre of town and close to buses and trains. Mostly clean, although the TV remote looked like it hadn't been wiped in months. Room had everything you would need for a short stay. Door handle in the bathroom was coming off. Reported it, but it was not fixed. Decent breakfast for the money. Nice bar. Friendly staff.

Stayed for two nights. Room was relatively clean but slightly old (paints on wall chipped). The shower had an empty bottle for body and hand soap. I would have thought housekeeping would have refilled it the next day, which disappointingly did not happen.

Rooms are small and very tired looking. Windows are frosted so limited natural light and felt a bit like a prison. Only one bedside table, no tea/coffee making facilities, the curtains were stained and generally looking very tired and in need of tlc. Pillows weren’t great, very flat but the bed itself was ok. Quite expensive stay for what you get.

When we checked in one of the rooms had a terrible odour. When we asked reception to change room they said there were no rooms available and that there had been an incident in the room we were staying in. During the night there was also a disturbance with guests in the corridor of the fifth floor. Again the staff at reception were not concerned about this being reported.

Lovely clean central hotel short walk from queen st station, staff really helpful and polite, breakfast good choice. Left luggage on departure while going shopping and on return enquired if i could buy a coffe advised to help ourselves to hot drinks and fruit juice free of charge, nice touch. Will definitely return next time overnight in Glasgow

Brilliant, central location. The train station was just across St George’s Square so easy to walk to hotel (about 2 mins). Lovely staff. Rob was very courteous and professional. Room was small but very satisfactory for our needs and was quiet. The parking was heavily discounted to £9 per day and was about 500 metres away. If you’ve got lots of luggage drop it off first! We didn’t eat at the hotel so cannot comment. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Glasgow.

Nice and friendly. Was able to get decaf coffee sachets from reception area. Had a couple of hot chocs too - the 1st one was not nice, just hot water and milk, but the guy on reception fixed it and gave me a hot choc over. Also, they took my drink over to the table when I had a crutch and bag, when I said I would come back for drink. The bed was comfortable.

The Ibis in Glasgow Centre was a very nice room with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. The loxcation was outstanding - right downtown and a block away from St Georges Square. There were many excellent places to eat in a short walking distance. Doors were secured at 8pm and it was a very safe hotel. Parking is a short distance and with the hotel discount it cost us £16 for 2 days. Breakfast, which came with the room was a full breakfast. Very impressed with the selection. Although the rooms were small the breakfast area was available to sit in and have a drink. If you want a good location to see Glasgow in a day or two this is a great location. Staff was very helpful.

Great location. Great value for money. Polite friendly staff. We have ised the aibis in many occasions in differnt cities. My only issue i have with this hotel and all the others is that they have the most uncomfortable pillows. Rock hard and flat. Bed is xlean and cimfy orherwise. But you do wake up with a bit of a headache and neck/back pain from the pillows. Other than the pullows would highly recommended.

The property and the room were quite nice. The continental breakfast (at 11 pounds/person) was abysmal. The food had clearly been sitting out for hours (we were there at around 9am). Staff was uninterested in refreshing the offerings.

Nice, clean rooms with prompt check in. Friendly staff. Complimentary filtered water hot drinks all day using the machine in the reception area was a nice touch. However, breakfast was one of the worst services I’ve ever had. During my 3 day stay, on 2 of those mornings the buffet was almost empty even though I came early. The buffet one morning had nearly empty platters for the cheese slices, ham slices, bread, eggs, croissants, muffins, mushrooms, fruit, yoghurt. Orange juice machine ran out of juice so ended up drinking water with orange flavour. The staff don’t seem to be able to fill the buffet back up as fast as it’s being used up during busy times. Asked staff to bring out more eggs and a few other things, I was told 5 mins but took them 15 mins and by this point the rest of my food had gone cold. When they do bring food out it’s small quantities so they run out quickly. If you’re staying here I wouldn’t recommend eating the breakfast. I’m not usually picky but I was really disappointed with this experience. I would stay again but wouldn’t pay for breakfast, there is a Greggs 2 min Walk away, rather go there or the food hall in the Shopping Centre near hotel.

Perfect location, room small but functional with good sized shower, hairdryer and iron provided. Breakfast terrible, not worth the additional cost. Both coffee machines out of order and hash brown so hard you couldn't even bite them. Needs to be improved, would get breakfast elsewhere.
