My husband and I are our three adult kids came to Ohio from California to move my father into assisted living. PROS: The quiet location was super convenient to my parents' independent living facility down the road and near lots of places to eat. We all took advantage of the continental breakfast almost every day of the week that we were there, and the kids utilized the pool and hot tub. The front desk attendants, maids, and kitchen staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly. We loved the fresh ice water at the front desk and complimentary warm cookies in the evening. CONS: The downside was that one of the two rooms had a funky smell that was there from the moment we first opened the door to the day we checked out a week later. We couldn't tell if it was mold, something coming from the AC filter, or a smell from the water faucet, but it was unpleasant. My husband called down to the front desk about it but they said maintenance wasn't in and we should report it again the next day but we never got around to it. Honestly, I'm not sure how they would've identified its source. But an unpleasant smell definitely affects your experience and feels like the room is dirty even if it appears clean. The other thing was it wasn't clear that housekeeping would only change sheets or even make up the bed every other day, so although we appreciated fresh towels being put out daily, walking into a room with unmade beds was a bit of a bummer although I appreciate the sustainability aspect.

Extremely helpful staff. We were stuck in traffic and didn't make it in time for the check in time before midnight, but I called and the lady, who's name I don't remember, was super nice and said as long as we made it by 2 am it was fine. Breakfast was good. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Everything was very clean. All staff were very friendly. Didn’t have time to use the pool; so can’t comment on that; but if was like everything else, I’m sure it was clean as well. Highly recommend. Beds were very comfortable & very adequate pillows! Had a great night & breakfast was very good with a lot of variety.
