cet hostel est encore mieux que ce que nous nous sommes imaginé. la chambre était grande avec une douche privée, le métro se situait à proximité et l’accès au bâtiment se fait très facilement. toutefois, nous étions situés au 4e étage du bâtiment et les escaliers sont plutôt vieux donc pas toujours à niveau. cela dit, nous n’avons pas eu de problème, mais des personnes à mobilité réduite pourraient rencontrer des difficultés avec cette chambre. de plus, il n’y a pas d’air climatisé, seulement une fenêtre qui a dû resté ouverte pour que l’air circule et que la température soit agréable. les nuits et les matinées sont plutôt bruyantes alors il était parfois difficile de trouver sommeil avec la fenêtre ouverte. en somme, cet hostel est une belle découverte et nous recommanderions d’y rester.

It’s expensive for what you get. The private room was $180. Really you don’t get any amenities... like towels or soap… and the bathroom is not in the room. The breakfast is pretty terrible. Nothing about this was valuable. After we saw the room, I looked on HotelTonight and saw a private room (with linens) and a bathroom that was actually inside the room, and it was also $180. My recommendation to anyone is that the private rooms here are not worth the trouble and to book something comprable at a hotel as opposed to making this place work. It will only work if you’re booking a bed in a dorm style room.

Totally absurd that they give you an address, you arrive and they send you to another address. I was tired, walking for hours before and with so little phone battery and then I had to walk more again. This is 2024, why you have still that awful system? Is not possible to send a e-mail with the right address? Ps: There is not WI-FI at all!!!!

Ich habe vier Tage in dieser Unterkunft verbracht und war lediglich nur zum Schlafen in diesem Hotel. Die Verbindung zu den Öffentlichen ist super und es liegt sehr zentral. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Da es eine Jugendherberge ist war es weder mit Handtüchern noch mit Handseife ausgestattet. Die Wände scheinen dünn zu sein. Habe Leute im Flur reden gehört und jeden Morgen hört man jemanden ein Wagen durch den gepflasterten Innenhof schieben (wahrscheinlich Wäschewagen). Frühstück ist sehr dezent.

La MIJI dans l’ancien hôtel particulier de la rue Fauconnier est une trouvaille. À recommander. Mes critiques sur 2 points: Envoyer la confirmation de l’établissement auquel on est attribué très vite et non pas la veille de l’arrivée. Surtout pour und 1ère réservation. Veiller à un nettoyage plus pro + plus méticuleux de la salle de bains/douche. Cela évite le vieillissement des sanitaires et constitue la véritable carte de visite de l’établissement. Surtout pour des résa de chambre individuelle.

We especially liked the building snd its surrondings plus the friendly staff. Not to mention the family-friendly price that was a lot of value for the money we paid. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our trip. We had 2 nights in Paris and wanted to stay in a good location but not spend a fortune. The location of Mije was in the heart of Marais, close to Metro stops and minutes from Notre Dame. The room was super spacious. We had a private room as there were four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The room had 4 single beds and a private shower and toilet. It was perfect. Breakfast was basic, an assortment of bread, yogurt, cereal and apple sauce. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the facility is great. It’s simple, clean, and in a great location for the price. I had a single room which was perfect for me. The staff were nice and helpful. But do believe the reviews when they say it can get rowdy and loud at night (or perhaps it was just the guest that day), aside from that it was a great stay. Would love to come back in future visits.
