As soon as you pull into the resort you know you are staying at a unique gem! It was welcoming and relaxing to say the least! The on site restaurant served delicious food! The ONLY thing we would change is for the pool to be a little warmer. I (50 years old) was able to enjoy it but my mother was not but she enjoyed the hot tub. The placement of the hot tub and fire pits made for a relaxing evening of socialization.

Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel.

Lots of amenities, outdoor saunas/hot tub, boat rental, pickleball, scooters, bicycles/trycycles. Nice views of Lake Superior. Pretty outdoor patios and decks. Not a fan of the sliding barn door in the bathroom!

We enjoyed our stay at this well-kept hotel. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind. Our room was clean for the most part, though we did find some garbage and a hand towel wedged behind the TV stand—something we only discovered because we had to unplug and replug the TV due to inconsistent Chromecasting. One downside was the outdoor music, which started playing as early as 6:00 AM and could be heard from our room. This was a bit disruptive and felt unnecessary at that hour. It may have been due to our room’s location, but it was still an annoyance. That said, the location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the bridge and convenient access to the restaurant. Despite the small issues, we had a good experience overall.

It was cozy, had fun activities like roasting marshmallows, the hot tub overlooking the lake was incredible. I wish the sauna was included in the stay- it doesn't have a price list or anything so I had no idea that it was a separate business until I was asked if I had a reservation and ultimately asked to leave the sauna area because they were fully booked. Labeling it better might help with confusion and ultimately contribute to better customer satisfaction.

Was a really nice stay but a major drawback is that there was no guest laundry. IMO, if you are calling yourself a resort, a guest laundry is a must have as you expect guests to stay multiple days. The smores kits and fires were nice in the evenings, and they had some really nice amenities otherwise. They only have one restaurant, which was overpriced. $40+ for 2 breakfast sandwiches and some juice and coffee? For lunch and dinner, the menu was really limited. To be fair, there was a shuttle that would take you anywhere within 5 miles, and there were a lot of options in that radius. We found the room and beds to be very comfortable. Location was central and easy to find. Overall, I found this hotel to be a bit on the pricey side, but it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is beautiful, however, our room smelled like a wet dog had stayed there for several days. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic. I wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pits. Breakfast was very good in the morning!

Great location! Nice size room. We had a patio room which was wonderful because we were there during the Blues Festival. We ended up sitting at one of the fire pits outside our room listening to the music (we even had tickets). The only issue we had was that the bathroom sink never drained and we wiped up a water spill on the bathroom floor and the towel was black after wiping up water. Very dirty floor. There are lots of amenities. The hot tub was right outside our room if you are into that. A bit pricey at $1200 for the weekend but could not have had a better the location.

When we checked into our room, I noticed that the bed linens didn't seem really fresh. The comforter had a stain on it, and the pillows were rumpled as were the sheets. I called to the front desk, and the entire bed linens were changed within 20 minutes. Other than that, the room had a beautiful view, the bed was very comfortable, and it was very spacious.

Very well kept property! The boardwalk along the harbor over to the aquarium and park is beautiful. Our patio room on the first floor facing the harbor was extremely quiet. Probably one of the most quiet hotel rooms I've experienced. The bed was my only complaint but I have a hard time finding a bed I like. This was the only reason I gave it four stars.

Pros: - gorgeous property - harbor view rooms have a beautiful view - property has a high end appeal - Hot tub was busy, so we did not partake, but I love that it's outdoor. - super comfortable beds - very close to Amsoil Arena Cons: - bathroom had a sliding door, with gaps in which you can definitely see into the bathroom. Not a big deal for us, but might be something for others to keep in mind. - toilet paper was equivalent to what you would find at a sketchy gas station in the middle of nowhere - wall heating unit made an annoying, intermittent high pitched buzzing which kept me awake. This was NOT normal. If it wasn't intermittent, it would have been fine (I think). We couldn't keep the heat off bc it was minus teens with windchill outside. - complained to front desk staff the next day about the noise which kept me up, and was offered breakfast vouchers but we already had plans for brunch with family (which is why we were in town). They said they would talk to a manager about knocking some of the cost of the room, but they didn't knock off a cent. Overall, I cannot believe I paid > $300 for a "high end" room at a "high end" property with a wall heating unit that would be better suited for a Super 8 motel. Very surprised the management didn't take some of the cost of the room off, as I was completely exhausted the next day bc typically I sleep like a champ, at home and pretty much anywhere. Do better, Pier B Resort!

Location was nice and and the view from the 4th floor upgrade was enjoyable. Was counting on double beds but the uncomfortable pullout made do. Bathroom door had a tendency to roll open (poor rail design and/or install). Sink cold water pressure was very low also.

Wonderful property with excellent service in all areas. There are so many interesting things to check out around the property. We didn't want to pay the extra amount for the view of the harbor, but our view was spectacular anyway. One of our favorite overnights ever!

I loved our stay at Pier B Resort in Duluth! The mini king suite room had a cool, modern design with amazing views of the ships coming in and going out of the Lift bridge on Lake Superior. It was super comfy too, with a cozy bed and relaxing soaking tub. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring Canal park and other sights to see and things to do in Duluth. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. It was a great location and everyone from the youngest to the oldest in our group had a blast. The team was super helpful at check-in getting us into our rooms early and for making our stay fun and pleasurable. If we're in the area again we'll definitely stay here! Bonus points because it's dog friendly!

The front desk girl never gave me my VIP breakfast vouchers therefore I had to ask for them the next morning. Also she never said unless you ask on a two night stay, they don't clean rooms. Also bartender in the restaurant did not fill my glass like she did the person after me not being consistent.

I'm an expedia vip and this is a vip property. I love pier b but didn't love this trip. Did not let me check in until exactly 4pm, would not let me check out late in severe weather which is supposed to be offered to us. To pay over 300 per night and have an old heater go on and off all night was not great. The restaurants heat was broken and freezing and they were out of many items on the menu. Prices are going up and quality is declining. Hopefully it was just an off visit.

So many amenities and activities right on the property. Easy to walk to Canal Park (about a 10 min walk). Easy parking and easy to get in and out of if you want to drive other places to explore.

This was our second time staying at Pier B resort. The views of the lake and Lift Bridge are breathtaking. We enjoyed the Cedar and Stone Nordic Sauna on the property as well. Location is very good, and away from the Canal Park crowds. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.

Don’t pass this property up and make sure you plan some downtime to use the amenities. The pool is fine but the outdoor hot tub was amazing (even in 40-50 degree nighttime temperatures). And the outdoor fire pits with smore kits and blankets to cuddle with are so much fun. They have a shuttle (we didn’t use) but it was available anytime we thought about it. Resort is not readily walkable to Canal area.

This was a beautiful property with amazing views and nice restaurant. It is set off from the main part of shopping which makes it nice and quiet but it is also convenient to shopping, a 2-3 minute drive or a nice walk when the weather is nice.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the shuttle was quick to respond. The 1 thing I would not recommend is the restaurant. They got my order wrong 3 times. I finally got frustrated and walked down there and showed them what they kept getting wrong. They said they would fix it and when I checked it, it was still wrong. The hotel I would definitely recommend but the restaurant, not so much.

The breakfast was good. We went in at 10am and we were told we had 10 minutes to order. I asked for a regular eggs Benedict with ham instead of salmon and was charged 4$ for that, we were asked if we wanted hash browns or breakfast potatoes but then told its 3-4$ more. They brought us breakfast potatoes instead of hash browns and then never brought the hash browns but it was still on the bill. The menu said 1$ to add mushrooms to an omelet but we were told 3-4$. For a vip breakfast this was very confusing and a lot of extra charges no sides included. Check in staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable. Nice resort.

Service in the restaurant was unbelievably slow. It took 25 minutes to get a beverage and far longer for food. Tables remained empty while we waited 45 minutes. Food was mediocre. Front desk help was kind efficient. The room was not worth 300 dollars.
