Great location and good room layout

Staff was very nice and accomodating. Re-roomed me as the room was not quite to spec on arrival. Thermostat didn't work and room got rather warm ovenight, did not sleep great. Bed comfy and nice room for the area.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was within walking distance from most locations in midtown and to Grand Central for easy access to the rest of the city.

Under no circumstances should you accept a room on the second floor. Since I didn't know this beforehand, I ended up accepting one; it is practically at street level, and the windows seem as if they are wide open because of all the noise that comes in. It was impossible to sleep throughout the weekend. The receptionist was incredibly rude when I asked if I could switch rooms. I do not recommend it. Perhaps if I had stayed on a higher floor, I would have had a different experience, but mine was terrible.

Hotel is in a convenient location and is very comfortable. Would stay here again.
