Great location - restaurants, shops, airport, downtown Cleveland, Oberlin! 99% clean and staff is professional. The facilities felt new, though there's a gap in hospitality and service training. Staff didn't go out of their way to help (e.g. they don't check or greet when you walk in or exit, and there were typically 2-4 staff hanging out behind the bar talking and laughing, but you had to call them to attention a couple times). Thinking on cleanliness, I'd say everything was fine but a few things were bothersome: (1) water stain that was damp and seemed to be seeping up from the carpet by one of the beds, and (2) the gym is cramped and far too small for the way people use gyms these days - without a view or window, felt unclean, and a bit unpleasant. The first time I tried to use it, I bent down on the mat to find a worm crawling right under my nose! See attached picture. When I showed the front desk, she shrugged and said, that's just a millipede. I didn't use the gym for a couple days and when I finally used the treadmill after breakfast one day - there were 3 other people at arm's length sweating in a space the size of my hotel room. Finally, as a woman of color, I felt uncomfortable with the fact that all the front service staff were white, and all the back service staff were not. That may explain some part of my experience, maybe not. Not sure I'd stay there again given the price point and my expectations for a 4-star Hyatt.

hotel within crocker park, location in unbeatable if you to be in westlake. staff are very nice , room i comfortable. breakfast is really good. parking is close ,but its a 2-3 min walk, make sure to load and unload at the entrance

Staff was great. Building was appropriate but for the cost of what my room was I expected a better hotel pool. Its actually laughable, plus there is no hot tub. I coukd have paid less and foubd better accomodations. Breakfast included too.

This was my first time at this hotel, and for first time it was really nice, other then a slight hiccup with rhe credit card machine when we first got there, everything was great. Great service, and the location cant be beat. Only dowside was the size of the pool, and no hot tub, but location makea up for that..the fruit water was soo refreshing, and the morning breakfast was very good. And free garage parking, highly recommended..

The hotel was fine, except for two issues: The fitness room was tiny! There were 3 of us in there at the same time, & we were stumbling all over each other. Additionally, there was an $11.00 fee for breakfast. I live near a Hyatt Place hotel, & my friends stay there often. Breakfast is always free. A good point: The Housekeeping staff were very helpful to me, when I asked for additional coffee supplies.

It was very pleasant. It’s a great location with lots to offer. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. One down side is the breakfast area was always cold. So before long, your food was also cold and you had to microwave it again. Grateful for the microwave. The food selection was varied and plentiful. We’ve stayed before and will definitely stay again!

It was just okay. Not what I expected from a three start hotel in a nice area. I would not pay more than $150 for a room charging $250. Positives are it is in a great location, check in was fast, check out is not until noon, which is nice, and the breakfast options were decent. The reason for the three stars is upon entering the room we noticed the bed sheets had wrinkles, the blanket, comforter, and a towel were stained, the bathroom looked like it needed a good scrub, and there was a layer of dust on the light fixtures.

The breakfast was great but the wardrobe had a significant musty smell. I have traveled the world and have never experienced such a problem. This was confirmed by others I traveled with. On the first day of my complaint, the staff response was to spray some perfume-like product in the closet. On the second day after I complained again, Karen at the front desk said the staff had wiped it down. On the third day, as I was checking out, Karen said the staff had not smelled anything the day before. Very insulting. Very unhappy.

We stayed at this property because it was within walking distance of friends in the neighborhood. I would describe as a really, really good Hampton Inn at 2 to 3 times the cost. Lobby, dining area nice. Food comparable. Room comfortable but lack of night light in bathroom a negative. Also, why do hotels all insist on putting comforters on their beds? I find them too hot, even when turning on the AC to lower room temp to 65. Think of the money they could save on heating and ventilation.

Felt like staying in a college dorm. Not worth the price based on the stay. Room itself was fine but insanely loud people running up and down the halls until around 2am all 3 nights. On the first night someone was at our door trying to open it until I yelled. Walls are paper thin and woke up to the people next door puking their drunk brains out 2 of the 3 mornings. Unlikely to ever stay here again.

Requested numerous times for housekeeping services but never received any the whole time I was there. Talked to the manager on two separate occasions about this and was told it would be noted on the account but each evening the room was still unmade and no towels or coffee. I requested an email receipt upon checkout and never received one. Very unprofessional and would have a hard time referring someone to this hotel after this experience.

Such an amazing stay!! It was so clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, great breakfast with fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, etc. Staff was kind and helpful. Prime location- everything is walking distance as it’s right into the middle of a shopping center. Would love to stay here again!!

This place is definitely relying on it’s Crocker Park location and has stopped working on upkeep and service. Understaffed and tattered. Breakfast is cold as in cold pancakes cold eggs, not cool but cold. The decor is dated and the carpets are frayed.
