The rooms were well thought out and had everything you’d need for self catering. There is no view from this hotel but it’s well situated for the waterfront and the CBD. There’s a Woolworths 500m away and a fantastic open air swimming pool just under 2km away. I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast but we are all different. There is no roof on this hotel so if it’s raining you’ll get wet walking from your room to the lifts. Car parking is $35 a night and a beer is $16, I didn’t have an evening meal I cooked.

This is the best place to stay if visting Spark Arena. The only issue I had, was the air conditioning was impossible to adjust. Ended up pulling the card out of the slot and using lamps only for light

The vip wine is terrible, tastes like vinegar. No extra roll of toilet paper left in one bathroom The second elevator being out is quite a pain. Other then that, the place is quite nice.

Perfect location for spark arena, we stayed here for Disney on ice. Everything about this place was awesome, only downside was not being able to book parking in advance. We got there right at 3pm to check in and there was no parking available so had to park at the arena carpark.

Main issues were the room keycards kept working and the first 3 days of our 9 night stay we had to have them replaces all the time. Then they worked for two days and then stopped working again. That was very frustrating. Also the WiFi / Internet in our room kept cutting out all the time we were there. They kept recording this problem in their log book but it never did get fixed. We used the WiFi in the lobby area, which also had problems, but less.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for 8nights - three teens and two adults. The size of the apartment was great, but the bathrooms were very small. Staff on the front counter were very friendly and helpful. We did have a few issues, housekeeping would only leave four towels, even though our booking was for 5, so we had to go to reception to ask for towels, or wash and dry them ourselves. We used the sofa couch, there were no sheets or pillows provided so we had to get them on the first night. No spare blanket, we had to eventually ask for one. Phone did not work. The location is great! The apartment was nice but needed maintenance (broken kitchen drawers, bathroom drains smelled, complimentary shampoos left empty) - so the only real let down is housekeeping. For the price you pay, there’s room for improvement. But, again - reception were always so helpful and friendly - so thank you

The two bedroom is in need of basic maintenance. The aircon was leaking and struggling to stay alive throughout the night. Floors were badly scratched up. Kitchen cooker hood was literally caked up in dirt and mould! Very unhygienic, I would say book elsewhere if you need a two bedder.

Room was not very clean... floor were sticky and closets shelfs needed to be dusted. Lots of amenities were missing and we had to ask many times... great location but very poor service. Really not what we expected for a luxury hotel... even the room service that was supposed to be done after 3 days wasn't done and we had to ask for it...

Toenail that wasn’t mine on the floor. Bed felt damp. Dust allergies played up. Something sticky in the freezer noticed when attempted to freeze water to make ice which I couldn’t do as not cold enough. Mould on bottom corners of shower. Floor sticky.

We liked convenient location, surrounding area and proximity of downtown. Hotel is in very good condition. Room is spacious and small kitchen was supplied with dishes and cuttleries. Cleaning of the rooms and vaccuming was not done every day and some days only garbage removed. Bedsheets are replaced only ones for two weeks of stay, 14 nights.

Excellent location, close to Woolworths and the motorway system for day trips. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our apartment was fantastic - everything you need for a stay away from home. Only issue I would say was the lack of opening windows/doors in the main area - fresh air is always nice. Housekeeping was a bit of let down, we stayed six nights and our room was only serviced on the last day at around 3:30pm - so pointless. But again, the housekeeping staff were lovely and friendly. I had asked a couple of times for the room to be done but it wasn’t. Apart from that, highly recommend Adina Britomart. This was our third stay and we will be back for certain.

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment and on my app, said it had a balcony, to which it didnt and when enquired with reception i was told it was only the premium 2 bedroom. See attached screenshot. No windows to open, very stuffy and air con didnt freshen apartment up. Helpful staff when we asked for fresh towels. Not much of a view. Good fast lifts.

Premium studio was beautiful and kitchen accessories were great with a big fridge freezer. Close to everything in the city. Unfortunately they don't have balconies and people smoke cigarettes through their apartment extractor fans which made it smell like someone was smoking in my room the whole time. Reception isn't exactly attentive either, they'll see you struggling with the luggage trolley and won't offer to help. Otherwise it was a nice place

Prime zoned for concerts or events at Spark Arena. Does pay to arrive early to get parking as not able to be pre-reserved. The service was impeccable even though the front desk was inundated with people ready to check in. Accommodation was amazing, the room was spotless, the shower was a double with dual shower heads, and the bed was comfy. Not a quiet hotel when there's events on for those who like their peace, but this wasn't an issue for us. Will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.

The Adina was perfectly positioned to make travelling around Auckland easy and stress-free. We stayed for a week and certainly considered it our home away from home. The full kitchen and in-room laundry were definitely helpful and the room was cleaned on a regular basis. My only complaint is that the "free" WiFi was abysmal. I'm sure this was to encourage patrons to pay for the premium version but...if you have free WiFi available, it should be reliable. Otherwise, no complaints!

The shower was HUGE with 2 shower heads and 2 sets of toilettes, unfortunately the vanity has no room to put anything. The room is serviced every 3 days so hang up your towels. The Arena was visible from our window. The ‘guest laundry’ is a payable service with 100% surcharge on weekends!!

We arrived early and asked if an early check in was available. We were advised it was possible, but only if we paid $30, even though we were staying on a VIP rate. It wasn’t until we got to the room and checked our perks ourselves that we saw we were meant to receive a complimentary bottle of wine, which had not been mentioned or offered at check in. We then had to ask for it, and there was no option to choose the wine either. The bar and restaurant closed at 8pm, although the website listed a 9pm close for Saturdays. This also was not communicated at check in, and there was no room service available. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were good. The TV setup was a bit awkward as it was on a pull-out bracket and not easily viewable from the bed. Overall, the stay was fine, but the communication from staff needs improvement, especially regarding included perks and available services.

Woman at counter was not very welcoming or friendly. We knew we were early, she said if we wanted to get in early we’d have to pay extra,we declined. She was quite rude. We wandered around town for a few hours, when we went back to hotel after 1pm there was a lovely gentleman, the front office manager, who advised our room was ready and that we could check in. I asked if we’d have to pay the early check in fee as check in is 3pm, he said No. He even gave us an upgrade. He was friendly, very welcoming and made us feel comfortable.

Incredible location! So close to Spark Arena you are literally right next to the stadium. Air conditioning wasn't working in my room, so super hot room. They said they'd get maintenance to check it. Didn't hear anything further from them until checkout when they couldn't find my room number booking. They figured out I had been moved to a different room in the system due to faulty air con, but I was out when this was decided and nobody communicated this to me so i remained in the super hot room for the evening. Not ideal.

Is nice big room/apartment. Unfortunately whe had a very bad first impression according to the staff.The the first person N. G. for check-in was very unfriendly, which I had barely experienced in my life. Even he was not helping for getting/booking a room or for parking nearby, WIFI etc. We booked the room with no problems on Expedia and he still did not check us in and also never called us as promised. Luckily his shift ended so the second person was very helpful with anything - as we expect. Pity this did not happend already from the first place. Also other staff members were friendly.

A great place to stay in the city - very central with the wharf, supermarket, restaurants and shopping centre. Definitely recommend if you want to stay somewhere that you can walk everywhere within a few minutes. It’s right across the road from the spark arena, so if attending an event there, you could not get any closer! So convenient!

The property is in a great location, very handy to downtown and was quiet. The housekeeping was not great, facecloths were left on the floor in the hallway, a sheet was left on my suitcase, no coffee was left at all one day and the vip wine that was given was like vinegar, we threw it out. We had to pay for parking which was fine but there was a surcharge to use a credit card. So I wanted to use cash and they wanted the exact amount. It took quite awhile to find change for me. The staff were all very pleasant.

The staff was attentive and foster best to accommodate. The only issues I encountered had to do with the dining area. Coffee machine was broken first day. 2nd day ordered food & drink for take away & o order was incorrect. Weekend hours & food availability had substantially different availability that I was unaware of. All in all, very convenient, lovely staff, quiet peaceful environment, conducive to my need to work in other country’s time zones.

I am so glad I booked this. My husband and I and our niece traveled so we booked a two bedroom stay. We had a full kitchen, a dining room, a living room, as well as two bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. And did I forget, there was a laundry room too? I love this traditional normal hotel room just has the bed a small sitting area and a bathroom. After a week my husband and I would be crazy being in that tight quarters. Because we had space to be apart but space to be together, and if we chose to eat in our hotel room, we could. It had everything we could need. The yard bar was super yummy. We didn’t have time to go anywhere else. Their dinner is spectacular. Their breakfast is a buffet. The location is great because it was right near the harbor, and it was a very centralized location. I would highly highly recommend this hotel

However it doesn't have the extent of amenities that other Adinas have. Each room has a full kitchen, a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, a refrigerator and an in room safe and the property provides dishwasher and laundry detergent. WiFi speed is very fast.
