The room we had on mezzanine was spectacular. Would definitely go back for the view and balcony alone! On the down side I was very b disappointed that the outdoor hot tub was not working and there is no self parking options. You must valet car and they need to improve the valet situation as I had to wait 15 minutes each time to get the car

Property was old and deteriorating. The gym was in horrible conditions shouldn't even be open for use, spa was closed was not happy with the hotel at all. The restaurant was the only good thing about it the food was excellent and staff at the restaurant was amazing. If me and my family decide to ever go again it will be for the restaurant.

The Only good thing on the apartment was the view, But it was very hard to enjoy it because of the dirty windows. Bedroom was clean But everything in there was old , spotty, not maintained at all. The Bathroom on the other hand looked like it was from a horror movie - dry dirty sports, rusty, didn’t drain well… absolutely disgusting. There wasn’t anything close to the kitchen- just an old refrigerator and dirty, peeled counter top. If you call this “refurbished” , you need to rethink! Parking service was too slow because they have less people than the floors of the parking and you need to wait 20-30min before actually get your car… It is good if you stop for one night only and you are out the next morning.

In the photos the apartments looked clean and organized, but when we arrived at the place it was already horrible, the apartment and the building needed maintenance, the apartment was dirty and had a horrible smell, besides having something on the bed that I woke up with insect bites on my body, I do not recommend it to anyone.

This is not a hotel. More like a dirty serviced apartment. Someone came into the property to use the toilet for a number 2 while we were out. We booked it for 3 nights but after that experience we checked out after the first night. The apartment is so outdated with brown bathrooms. This should not be used as a serviced accommodation. Everywhere smells. To be honest it is really bad.

Our room was tidy but a deep clean should be done. There is pink mold on the tiles behind the door in the bathroom and black mold on the line in the bath tub to hang bathing suits etc. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean- no problem there. It was quiet around us, so again, no problem. For the amount of time we spent in the room, it was fine. Hopefully, one day, it can be renovated as there are layers upon layers of paint on the walls/door, etc. Maybe this is the norm in the area for this price range. Overall, it was ok for what we needed and the amount of time we spent in the room.

The room smells bad, stain on walls, mold found in bathroom and on top of kitchen cabinets, rust around toilet, no exhaust in bathroom causing steam buildup and mold. The tube had old finger nail in tub, chip paint everywhere on walls and base bored. Mandatory valet parking, not enough time to load and unload my vehicle, most staff don't speak English, so getting answers to questions are difficult. Toilet was clogged. I need a full refund. Very unsatisfied with this hotel.

Awesome beachfront views from the room. Valet parking included in the price. Great price for the location. The room was old, worn out but very clean, painted in white with gray linoleum floor. There is a service elevator right next to it kind of noisy the first night but then I got used to the elevator going up and down. The pool is closed for repairs but one can sit on the patio for the nice ocean breeze. There is a restaurant and an outdoor Tiki bar but I drove to Whole Foods and cooked in the little kitchenette. Friendly staff.

Stayed 3 nights, double and sofa bed. 10th floor with good bay view. Room keys had to be replaced twice before we could enter first time. Others seemed to have the same issue. Rooms not sound proof. Check-in was confusing as front-desk at the property services multiple companies it seems. Lobby and front access were often busy and chaotic. Bathroom needs refurbishment. Room floor seemed a bit sticky. Air con was good and beds were comfortable. Basic kitchenware was provided. Good fridge space. Pool included and beach access from there.

We had a duplex with ocean view and it was beautiful. The balcony was shared with three other apartments but the size of a small football pitch. It was huge and over looked the beach. Room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. Living space over looked the ocean and the kitchen/dining space were located down a small staircase

The Hotel was dirty and outdated. The pictures on the website is not what the room looks like. The couch was all stained I wouldn’t even sit on it. It was suppose to be furnished with pots and pans and had one pan. The fridge had only one shelf and to top it off the pool was not open. There was no way me and my family could stay there for 7 days. We were supposed to have a private balcony and had one huge one that six different rooms had to share. We went to leave and the elevators did not work had to drag our luggage down the stairs. Every time I went down to speak to someone there were several people down there complaining. This place was an absolute joke. I stay in Miami every year and this place was the absolute worst place ever

The room was big and spacious but the minute I walked in I was appalled by how outdated it was. The place was dirty. The carpet in the upstairs room was so nasty. I cringed looking at the bathrooms. Overall, just gross. The only nice room was the living area but even then we didn't dare to sit on the couch and only sat at the table on the clear plastic chairs! I was only here for a night thank goodness!

We had a terrible stay. We could not hook to the WIFI there was a language barrier with all employees so we never did get that figured out. Then our electric went out so everything in our fridge went bad. Once again they did not fix the issue. The room smelled bad. No house keeping the whole week. Was close to the beach but the elevators took 20 min to get anywhere. Staff was extremely rude. Tiki bar by the pool was friendly. Expensive but friendly.

My husband and I stayed one night here. Pulling in was kinda crazy we waited 45mins to get to the front to the valet. When you first walk in it very pretty. The check in was kinda crazy it tells you go to the left to check in with the office in front of the elevators. But when we went to that office, they told us that we had to do the main check-in then we had to go to them. After we do that, we finally got up to the room. The room was outdated and needs some repairs and smelt like they just poured fabuloso all over the place it was very strong. The view was absolutely fantastic and the pool was large and very clean. The WiFi wouldn’t work and tv would go in out a lot. I have a lot of mixed emotions about the stay.

Where do I begin. We are locals that decided to stay at the beach for a staycation while our home was being fumigated. From the minute we arrived there was chaos. There was no clear direction on how to check in because the front desk was the security booth. I made the line just to be pointed to the end of the hallway to a spooky office. Once I finished the check in process in that office I had to make the line again in the security desk. During this time consuming process, my wife was in the car with our one year old. Once I got all the check in squared away, I ask for a luggage cart to unload our bags. I was told it was on a first come first serve basis, I also needed to leave my ID as a deposit to use the luggage cart, and I had to offload and bring all my bags from the car up to the lobby which was about ten flights of stairs not including the ones you have to get to in the lobby. When I asked for a ramp I was told they didn't have one. HUGE BUILDING CODE VIOLATION! I had to wait an additional 30 minutes in the lobby until a luggage cart became available to use. To make matters worst, my wife and daughter had to around the building to the pool area to open the gate that is located by the loading dock of the building which is a safety issue with guest with disabilities. Non residents have access to one elevator through out their stay making it impossible to get around. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Not as marketed. I will be filling a formal complaint with City Officials.

The problem with the hotel is that its employees are not efficient enough. Lost vehicle keys, three hours to give you a car at check out. I definitely didn't like that about the hotel or the employees who weren't organized.

Communication with staff was a challege and there is no access to front office after 5 pm which is absurd..unless one has a private phone there is no in room telephone to call anyone in an emergency and they are doubling charging me for my stay which is unacceptable

What we liked about the property: Pool, Easy access to beach, Restaurant with a great staff, good location, shops available to get necessities needed. Dislike: Valet service disorganized and too long of wait to retrieve car, check in confusing, New Pointe Staff were great. Frontline main area of hotel, not good communication, making checkin confusing and frustrating. Two different properties in one location. Thank you New Pointe Staff for taking care of us.

Great property in a great location. Only a 15 minute walk to Fountainbleu and the free trolley stop was right in front of the hotel which made going to south beach very easy. It was nice having a separate office to check into. The room was very nice and clean. Great amenities as well. Really great value!

Our stay was good overall. Nice area and next to the beach. The room was clean and had a great bay view. Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars. We received not one but two knocks on our door from cleaning before our check out time. I even heard one of them talking about how we have to check out but we were still sleeping. I like to use my full time at my rentals. Thank you

Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to be able to simply walk out the back gate to access the boardwalk and beach. The view from our room was really beautiful as well.

Great view of the ocean and easy access to beach. It was not at all easy access to hotel staff for cleaning and other requirements. My washroom has problems of shower and drain but managed with it. Only one person at reception in day time and stays pretty busy and people waiting in long queue

The food options are very limited and it’s not a lot of restaurants. It’s almost no restaurants and walking distance outside of the hotel. You don’t have the amenities of walking to the grocery store or corner store. You have to buy everything offsite.

The air conditioning was leaking on the floor all weekend, the blind for the sliding door was all ripped and bugs in the washroom climbing the wall on the right side of the shower. Couldn’t connect to wifi and television reception was spotty during the whole stay. Restaurant was excellent.

Check in took close to an hour. No self parking and the valet gets backed up pretty badly. Not many restaurants that are walking distance. Trolley is free and works well sometimes. Overall not terrible for the price compared to other places nearby.

The property and rooms need updating, rusty sinks etc. We ate in BluGin, very overpriced and horrible service. When our meals were delivered, one was missing! In 1.5 hours our server only attended us once for beverages and once to take our food orders. Will not stay here again.
