Stayed 2 nights

I’ve stayed at this location several times and everything from check in, cleanliness, security has been extraordinary. But this time, it was just ok. The room wasn’t as clean, the light on the makeup mirror was dead and they took so long to replace it we wound up being late for an event. The lighting in the room was unusually dark and the security was nonexistent at night. Previously the door was locked after a certain hour in the lobby and there was security at the door. This time there wasn’t anyone in the lobby and people coming and going. What made this concerning was that you no longer needed to use your key to badge up to your room. We had a whole drunk group that didn’t know how to get to the rooftop and just hopped on the elevator with us. Another group of men asked us what floor we were going to and I just closed the elevator door on them as they were staring at my daughter far too long and it made her feel uncomfortable. I’ve never had this experience here at Renaissance Midtown but I’m unsure I want to return. Lastly and it’s a small thing but no one asked me about my stay when checking out. They just told me I wouldn’t be charged for anything. Whatever is going on that need to do better.
