Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort & Spa

Stayed for 6 days in a 2 Bedroom room, which was perfect for us as a couple with a teenage daughter. The room was well appointed with a kitchen, Dining and living areas. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities are great with a lagoon pool, lap pool and kiddies pool. It was very hot while we were there and it took us a day to work out that the water temp in the lap pool is cooler than the lagoon pool. It's an easy walk to the esplande and restaurants and shops. There is lots of parking in a basement car park, and we'd hired a car which made it easy to access the entire area including driving to Cairns for Reef tours and up to Port Douglas and surrounds.

Hard to go wrong with the Pullman in Palm Cove. Initially, we were given a very dark, small, ground floor room, but after asking, we were moved to a lovely room on the 4th floor with great balcony and pool view. The landscaping around the whole complex is brilliant. Staff were friendly. Day spa beautiful and relaxing. Beach access incredible. Pools are unheated, which wasn’t for us, but lots of other people (especially kids) were loving it! Would definitely recommend staying here. Already booked my next stay!!

Lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic. 1 pool not open but this didn't spoil our stay. Would recommend.

Well Maintained and great amenities. Pool and the hot tub were well maintained. Great tasting food in the restaurant.

The property could do with a bit of an upgrade. The walkways had broken tiles in several areas. The furniture didn’t match. The pool area is lovely and generally has a relaxing vibe. The pool bar is very accommodating.

This was a great stay for our family of 4. We had the rooftop 2 bedroom apartment with spa on the roof. Lots of space for us and the kids and the spa was a great alternative to the pools which were also fantastic. Great beach access and breakfast being included made the morning nice and easy. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the only restaurant is no longer open Sunday or Monday. Poolside bar and snacks not available until 11:30am any day. Breakfast was very good. 10 minute walk into Palm Cove.

Access to meals was a little limited because of the hours of the poolside bar and the bookings for the on-site restaurant, but having a car made getting supplies in easier.

Overall a pleasant stay. Our room had no plates or cutlery, so we bought some. Bathroom fan/vent was very dirty and bar fridge badly needed a defrost. When selecting a room be aware if the shower is in the bath. I would have preferred a walk in shower.

Overpriced $ over-rated. Room was dated, in serious need of a refurb, definitely not up to standard. It wasn't cleaned properly each day, despite me asking, the outdoor sofa was so dirty that we didn't want to sit on it. Bizarrely there were cloth European blinds in the room that were ill fitting, mechanism didn't really work, they were dirty & torn. The bed was the same, photo showing how they made it just throwing my pjs on sidetable. Customer service was seriously lacking. When I asked the bar tender if they could bring our drinks over her response was no, we don't provide table service as there are too many guests & not enough staff. When I mentioned that our jug of cocktails would therefore have to sit in the sun poolside & go warm, her response was 'well drink it quickly'! They messed up our transfers, didn't communicate it with us & we almost missed our flight. Food was okay but not particularly good & overpriced. They messed up our bill, charging us for an expensive meal in their restaurant that wasn't ours. Location was great. Definitely not as good as it used to be and yet they are still charging quite high prices. When I asked to speak with the manager about a number of issues we were having I was advised that she had just quit/left and there wasn't a replacement as yet. Their only saving grace was a staff member called Natalie, she was absolutely amazing and a credit to the hotel. We definitely wouldn't stay there again unless they improved.

The property itself is lovely. The staff were helpful. Dinner was delicious. Our room however wasn’t very clean and had a manky smell. We tried to stay in the communal spaces, which were very pleasant

Booked a resort view and it overlooked the swamp/mangroves that stunk. The room was filthy with lip gloss and packets of tablets under the couch. The floor was covered in food and dirty as well as having an unpleasant odour. Really unimpressed and disappointed to the point we cancelled our stay and went home.

お部屋は2ベットルームのお部屋に滞在しました。調度品も新しく清潔でとても広くゆっくりと過ごすことができました。 プールは綺麗に清掃されていて、植物の配置も素晴らしく、とても素敵な雰囲気でした！ 唯一、本当に残念だったのは、レストランです。 お食事はまあまあでしたが、サービスがホテルとは思えない悪さです。ウエイターさんは、他のお客様さんと無駄話ばかりして、3組しかいないのに、私達のテーブルだけパンがなかなか配られないなど、放置されること3回ほど。 結局、一つ食事のオーダーが通っておらず、待つこと20分。お詫びにデザートをサービスされるとのことで、気をとりなおすも、何か用意されるのか、出てくるのか待つこと30分。まだかと聞いてみると、好きなものをオーダーしてくれと。そんなこと、一言も最初に言われていない！その間、お皿も下げてくれない…。 朝食も、カウンターの女性は、他のお客さんと話しこんでいて、明らかに無視されていたので、テーブルに座って待ってると、受付をしてないのに勝手に座るなといきなり怒られる。本当にイヤな態度を取られました。ちなみにその時、お客様さんは他一組みだけでスキスキ状態。80を過ぎた親を早く座らせたい気持ちだったのにと、朝から気分が悪くなりました。 海外には子供ころから色々な国に住んでいますが、かつて30年以上も前に味わった、露骨なアジア人への差別を久しぶり思い出し、本当に嫌な気分になりました。

Was a disappointed that we could not use the TV. It was locked to the person that owned the room. We couldnt use Netflix, Disney ect. We tryed to put our own account on it but it was locked. Could not ever share to the TV. Normal coffee would have been better than the expresso machine. No salt or pepper in room. Light in room very difficult to shut it out even when curtains where closed. People on top floor neeb to be considert of people under them. We could hear the people upstairs from 7am everyday.

If you have kids - or want a generational holiday - this is ideal. If you want a couple’s getaway don’t. Should be noted rooms don’t match the standard of the communal area.

Lots of space for us and the kids and the spa was a great alternative to the pools which were also fantastic. Great beach access and breakfast being included made the morning nice and easy. The hotel was at capacity but there were no staff visible for much of our stay..no greeting upon arrival, no offer to port our bags, no staff waiting at reception, no staff at bar, no pool side service. There's no music playing to improve the ambience and during the Easter period there was also limited alcohol service. Although we had to pay premiums to stay at the hotel and foods etc during the period there was no room servicing other than new towels as well. When questioned we were told it is holidays - but isn't that a hotel staff management issue.. why should the customer have to pay the price for that? We certainly didn't get a discount for it. We were also pretty let down by the breakfast.. would be great to have a buffet in place of small servings of 1 slice of avo toast. It was very tasty food though. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are very spacious and has all the comforts and amenities. The best part of our stay was the outstanding service by the operations manager who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time.. he is professional and friendly and kind! He deserves a raise!

It’s an absolutely beautiful property with an almost perfect location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our only complaint is the very thin walls. The room next to us came in @11pm and it was soooo loud we actually thought they were somehow in our room bc it was extremely loud and woke us up from a dead sleep. We actually chose a different resort on our next stop through the city bc of how loud it was.

Excellent walking access into town… I paid a premium to stay during public holidays and didn’t receive rooms service due to this however washing the walls in the driveway seemed of great importance at this time!!! Room service to customers seems more important to me!!

I’m sorry but this is not a five star resort. The resort is tired and in need of a refresh. Our room was so basic but for just under $400 a night I expect more. There is not enough staff but those we did encounter were friendly. We ordered lunch at the lagoon bar, just a chicken burger and chips but it was barely warm and tasted of nothing. Very limited choice of meals. We ate all meals outside the resort which were all fabulous. I think you know a resort is confident on their level of service when you checkout, they ask “how was your stay?”, not here just did you have anything from the minibar and have a nice day. Not even can we assist with a taxi etc to your next destination. Would definitely not stay here again, Palm Cove is lovely and there are many real five star options to choose next time.

The Pullman was a fantastic family holiday destination. Travelled with teenagers who also enjoyed the accommodation and resort facilities. Staff were exceptionally helpful and provided everything we requested. Easy walking distance into Palm Cove main dining precinct and drivable to kurunda, Atherton table lands and Daintree

Simply stunning location. Short walk to town. Friendly staff. The main pool though.. too hot! Too hot to swim in fact. Which is a shame because it's a stunning pool. Big shout out to Kazumi and her co worker the day we checked in (22nd). They were so friendly and an absolute delight. We were very impressed by their customer service.

Due to a last minute change we stayed here and had a lovely experience. The staff was so hospitable and especially Angela at Reception who went above and beyond!

スタッフやホテル全体の設備はとてもよく、ホテルの裏側をでるとすぐにプライベートビーチかと思うような静かなビーチが広がっておりとても素敵なホテルでした。 パームコーブの中心地までは少し歩きますが、パームコーブ自体もとても素敵な街で大変満足です。 国内と比べるのは良くないとは思いますが部屋のアメニティ類が少しいまいちだったこと、お湯が溜水式なので、バスタブにお湯を張り、その後四人がシャワーを浴びるくらいの湯量はなく2日目以降はシャワーのみで済ませました。

Perfect island escape. Spacious rooms, comfortable bedding and great location. Unfortunately the beach area is unsafe with wild crocs but pools are nice

Beautiful resort in an amazing location. Easy walk to everything but nice and quiet and sheltered from the windy coast. Staff were friendly and food and drinks very reasonably priced.

とても静かで快適に過ごせました。無料でアーリーチェックインもさせて頂きサービスは最高でした。ケアンズから30km離れてるのでレンタカー利用でコンドミニアム希望の方におすすめです。車で5分で大きなスーパーに行けるのも便利です。日本語の出来るスタッフさんもいて安心でした。唯一のイメージ違いは自然の木々に囲まれているので海はパーシャルオーシャンビュー以下で虫が多いです。 ケアンズの騒がしさを避けたい方にはおすすめです。

The sea temple is absolutely amazing, the building itself is beautifully designed and is definitely a great place for a relaxing stay. The restaurant is gorgeous although the food was a bit of a hit and miss although has the potential to be something incredible. The staff were lovely and the rooms were gorgeous. Definitely recommend staying here and its perfect for families with young children.
