Great hotel! Staff friendly and helpful, room was great, restaurant and room service were excellent. Only complaint, and not any reflection on the hotel itself, was the location. It's not the most-centrally located property, so you're a bit of a walk from historical sites and other tourist interests. That being said, I never felt unsafe walking in the area at any time. Will definitely be back to Naples and will definitely consider staying again!

The property was in a near perfect location for our needs, as we had to be close to the port. We arrived slightly early, though it was clear others had too. The receptionist was rude and the check-in experience was only saved by her colleague who stepped in to help. We booked a Junior Suite that was not clean. The walls were scuffed and the curtains were dirty (too light to be practical!) and the bathroom needed a deep clean. Circulation areas were okay but not clean. The room was comfortable enough. Bar service in the evening was slow. Breakfast was good. During our Check-out the concerns I raised were picked up. We were offered four small pastries as recompense. 2€ worth -really?! We left them. One to avoid unless you are really stuck

Virkelig godt hotel, venlige og servicemindede personaler, taler godt engelsk, meget rent og pænt. Den ekstra opredning på værelset til 3 personer var knap så komfortabel, men ellers var senge og puder gode. Pænt og rent fitnesscenter med de mest nødvendige ting, dog savnede vi en gulvmåtte til gulvøvelser. Flot tagterrasse med udsigt over Napoli.

Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. The only thing I would say was subpar was our food at the hotel restaurant, I ordered a ham sandwhich and my partner a seafood rissoto. His meal was ok for 8€ but my 5€ ham sandwich was so bad I couldn’t finish it…I’ve had better sandwiches from a vending machine. Overall, good hotel for a quick stay in Naples.

We planned to stay couple days in Napoli but the hotel and staff and room was all very disapppunting. We did not feel welcome. The rooms AC did not work well and the room was dirty and shower corners never cleaned. Off elevator it had strong deodorizer smell. Thats usually to cover up something unclean. If cleaned it smells clean. This did not. We had cut our stay here short. Was surprised whole town so dirty and only just a ferry ride away from beautiful, clean Sorrento. .

Poor quality. Dirty limescale all over bathroom and shower surround. Shower didn’t work. Or no easy way to get it to work. Tired looking main reception area. Quite quick to check in though. Easy to find.

Hotel is very clean, safe, modern and conveniently located. Less than five minute walk to port, Domo metro station and well stocked reasonable market. Taxi from airport was only 20 euros if you negotiate well Breakfast was very good with assorted fruits, beverages, eggs, meats and at least TWELVE fabulous types of assorted pastries Room was spacious and house keeping was friendly, helpful and excellent Definitely would stay here again and would highly recommend

From the outside the property is impressive, but does sit in a very run down area with no good views in any direction. The docks are directly infront of the hotel but again these are the commercial goods docks not passenger terminals. Inside the hotel is fine but a little tired in places. The room was a little disappointing given it was a junior suite although not much bigger than a reasonably sized room in any other hotel. Balcony patio was sizable and would clearly be more useful in summer although noting my comment above, still no view to speak of. The bathroom was the biggest let down. Only a bath with a hair washing shower head so if like me you prefer a full shower then it's very inconvenient. There is absolutely no storage/shelving in the bathroom so each day you have to take your stuff in then pack away afterwards. There was also a persistent drain smell. It was however very clean. The staff were all very good and pleasant and the breakfast was great too. Overall it was a good stay.

Room and bathroom were very clean, however bed was not too comfortable as mattress was clearly at the end of its lifespan with several depressed areas Breakfast was lovely with lots of typical sweets . Hotel is in a good area Staff was friendly, however they gave us wrong info re the voucher we were entitled to as VIP guests and we consequently could not use it. Although we are entitled to a late check out, if available, we were only allowed one if we paid extra. However, this hotel is highly recommended. however

The hotel is nicely appointed- but the WiFi is terrible- kept getting kicked off (despite saying something and being told it was “fixed”). Not the fault of the hotel, but leaving was impossible due to road blockages from a protest and bus/train strikes. I had to walk almost 20 minutes (dragging my luggage) to Piazza Garibaldi to find a taxi.

This hotel was fine, the staff was great and the breakfast was good too. I do wish I had checked google street view before I booked as it is a long walk from all the things and the beach. I also was not a fan of my "ocean view" meaning that my room was facing a very busy and loud road. It was very much reflective of the pricing.

This was a fine place to lay my head for the evening. The gnocchi from room service was AMAZING. But it is not in a great area, the rooms are extremely small, and the staff was overwhelmed at the front desk. I would not walk around this area after dark!!

The hotel was lovely and the staff were really nice. A special mention to Yolanda and Pasquale. They were absolutely Brilliant. Check in at the hotel wasn’t very good. I was trying to get our luggage up to the front door of the hotel, so mu husband could drive around the block waiting for someone to take our car to the garage. The guy on the front desk stuck his head out the door and was shouting orders, to drive around the block. I asked him if he could please help me get my luggage and he just yelled back, go around the block. So we had to put all our luggage back in the car, as we were holding up traffic behind us. I wasn’t very impressed with him. Other than that, a lovely stay, room was nice and breakfast was great.

Staff are all very helpful; we arrived at noon and they were happy to allow early check-in. Breakfast choice was excellent. Very convenient location - Hotel was within easy walking distance from central train station and also the Allibus airport shuttle bus stop at the port was only a short distance across the road . A few mins walk takes you to the Duomo metro station. There’s a handy small supermarket store just around the corner too.

Hôtel correct pour un 4 étoiles italien (= 3 en France). Chambre moderne, petite salle de bain. Quartier peu agréable sur la marina industrielle sans être mal famé pour autant. A 10 minutes à pied du métro Duomo et 15 minutes du centre historique ou de la gare centrale. Peu de restos à proximité.

The hotel is fantastic, clean, comfy, great service from all of the staff. There is very little around the hotel in terms of dining and the area is a little rundown with lots of rubbish in streets and graffiti etc. However the hotel is convenient from the tram a short 5 minute walk to the main station and opposite the ferry port going to Sorrento and Capri. Excellent value for money.

I think the hotel is overpriced for what it is and tries to pass itself off as a 4-star. I didn’t like the location much. Later, I realised there are much nicer areas of the city. The surroundings had quite a bit of litter and busy roads. The hotel itself was okay — clean but a bit outdated. The room had blackout curtains but no sheer curtain for daytime privacy, which was weird as my room was facing other apartments. There were decorative bamboo sticks on the restaurant tables— felt like unnecessary clutter. Breakfast was average but good enough. People praising it in other reviews probably haven’t experienced better yet. The staff at reception were very friendly — shoutout to the girl with glasses, I didn’t catch her name, but she was always positive and helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff: gave a valuable advice on local food/restaurants choices, provided a map, and advised the best way of getting around. Very comfortable beds and super clean room. Highly recommend! Oh, yes, breakfast was amazing! Large selection of various foods including local pastries!
