Our stay was good, front desk was helpful. There was no coffee pot in the room, no exhaust in bath, bath is too small, restaurant is owned by a another company, there was no room service, asked for hot tea and we got tea bags and sugar they didn't have any milk. Very poor service.

Great place to stay in South Beach. 7 mins walk to beach (none of the hotels in this area are 'on the beach') Lots of food options, expensive as well as inexpensive ones. Staff is super helpful and courteous. They provided free early check-in and late checkout (depends on availability). Valet parking with $40 per day in/out privileges was awesome, prompt. Parking very expensive in nearby garages, $60 for 5 hours. Rooms not too big, but that is justified by the location.

Staff was friendly and hospitable. Parking is impossible but there is a parking lot on 12st one block from hotel for $20 a day. Miami Beach is beautiful and a short walk from the hotel. Music from various factors blasts all day and night. Welcome to Miami!!!

The Kent hotel is a boutique property. The staff was exceptional, especially Kyle. It is an excellent location being only a block away from the beach. The added plus is a restaurant with a great happy hour and reasonably priced meals.

There was no heat. Sheets had stains on them. Shower floor was crusty. Rooms smelled like weed because the workers would go out back to smoke and they were right by the window. Also it’s very loud in that particular room. If you’re assigned room 107 ask to move immediately!

The hotel rooms were very grubby and dirty in the rooms . grubby floors , big nail cutting on floor … gross, definitely not mopped , baseboards , bottoms of toilets hairs , shower walls not cleaned , Was given the option to move rooms and the other room was the same . Disappointed . Keep your shoes on in your room otherwise your feet will be black . Staff member

Good location staff is helpful however really run down and dirty. Sheets were dirty and the worst part is there was a HUMAN TOOTH in our bed. Talk about sleeping in your clothes the rest of the trip. Door is falling apart. Floors I’m not sure have ever been mopped in a year now or more. Just a really dirty run down spot but if your prepared for that the location and staff are pleasant

Pillows terrible, bed squeaky and not comfortable, shower not clean, and no vent in the bathroom which makes it a sauna. Makeshift vanity in the main room because the bathroom had no counter space. paint chipped throughout, and the room was tiny with a room looking out to the dumpsters in the alley. AC unit was loud, clunky, and basically has two settings: cold and hot. For the price, very disappointed.

It was oh-kaay, but some weaknesses. The room looked like the picture—I liked it, wife thought it was a bit small. On weekend nights, it is LOUD if you are overlooking the bar/restaurant attached. No issue with general Collins Ave noise, but we had a deejay and speakers outside our window. Unsleepable until 2am. We had to change rooms the next night and then it was fine. The gentleman at the front desk was pretty sarcastic about it and pretty much blamed us somehow, which was uncomfortable. We wouldn’t stay there again, mostly because it was meh and the staff didn’t leave us feeling like we wanted to come back.

What is 5 star is the staff. They are very warm and welcoming and willing to assist in anyway. The area is great (better than ocean drive crowds). Collins Ave bars and restaurants are so much better (my opinion). So the location is great. The hotel itself was clean and updated with a convenient tiki bar and restaurant. These are all the great points. The "average" points are the size of the bathroom (very small) and bed was at best average (a little hard). There is NO table in King room. You get a vanity like table but the stool they give you doesn't match the height. Toilet is literally up against the shower and its a walk in shower with a curtain only so when you shower the entire floor gets wet, etc. The AC is a small unit on ceiling that even lowering at 61 at best felt like 73 or 74. I mean don't get me wrong, was somewhat comfortable but was looking for ice cold. That's about it. Overall great location, staff was nice.

The staff was great and you can’t beat the location. Our room was very warm and the wall unit air conditioning didn’t seem to help. There weren’t any vents in our room and the windows don’t open so, it got pretty steamy. The hotel was at max capacity so we didn’t have any other alternatives until the last day. Definitely a decent hotel for the price point and location but I’d hope for better ventilation and AC in the future.

Room kinda had a funky chlorine/ozone smell and was pretty small for four people. The front desk staff were great and very friendly. It’s too bad the hotel has to put up with the obnoxious restaurant that is adjacent as they play loud, booming techno music until midnight every night and our room was on that side of the hotel. No great for light sleepers.

I recommend the Kent Hotel when traveling to/through Miami Beach! The location is amazing and staff are awesome. Our room had a fridge and there is a computer/printer if you need to get some work done. The Kent Hotel accommodated us when we arrived a little early and they have luggage storage too.

The front desk staff was very attentive to our needs. The ladies in the morning of our stay were so kind to take care of my valet, so I didn’t miss my bus to Key West. Joshua was working when we returned to the hotel and was just incredible. He could see that we didn’t have the greatest day and we ended up with a bottle of champagne brought to our door by Josh. Thank you, Josh! And Wes is one of the best. Also, the next morning he was awesome getting us checked out answering our questions. I left my Kindle in our room and called Wes the next morning. He found it and is holding it for me. They are more than happy to mail it back to me. I will stay here every time I’m in the area.

Wes at the front desk was the bee’s knees. He gave us so many recommendations for the area and the restaurant next door had breakfast for a very decent price. I came in town for a cruise and would stay at this property again when I’m in the area.

Boutique hotel. Well maintained for its age. Not a 4-5 star modern hotel. This is a classic 90 years old South beach property, so set your expectations correctly. Friendly staff. Extremely convenient. One block to the beach. Convenient stores, coffee shops, and many restaurants within 2-10 minutes walk. We were there for two nights to board our cruise ship. No rental car, lots of walking for sightseeing, Uber when needed i.e. airport and cruise port.

Quick walk to the beach and stores are right there. They have a great happy hour at the lobby bar during the week. I wish they had offer their vallet parking because we didn't know and spent $80 on parking ALONE!! A coffee maker in the room would be nice and should've be too much of an expense. Overall nice room and very friendly staff.

Outdated elevator, poor housekeeping service, and short on towels/washcloths. No microwave or complimentary water as advertised. Restaurant food was bland and overpriced, and the lobby had mold on flowers and ceiling speakers. The bed had hair on the pillows Definitely would not stay here again.

The front desk staff was friendly and went above and beyond. I was on a birthday trip and received a free bottle of champagne. The hotel let us check in as soon as our room was ready which was extremely helpful. Great price, clean, safe rooms. Restaurant attached to hotel had great room service for dinner and excellent breakfast. Would stay here again.

Really cool Art Deco Vibe! The staff was amazing! We really enjoyed the Swizzle Rum speakeasy across the street at the Viajero and eating taco’s & nacho’s at Azteca South Beach on the corner😋 I would say the weak points were: the bed was too hard, the rain shower was terrible and the restaurant attached was very slow service. If you have a chance, we highly recommend the art deco walking tour!! We also loved the Bettant Bakery & Cafe on Collins😋 It was a great one night stay close to Miami port for Cruise departure. Would stay again!
