Everything was perfect and beyond expectations. Plenty of space in the room and fully equipped with top-of-the-range equipment. TWO TVs, microwave, cooker, etc Shower was superb - hot and powerful. Normally I max temperature on a shower but I still had some way to go on this one! Small but excellently set out gym with a very well maintained (or perhaps newish) CONCEPT 2 rower (for those in the know, this is the absolute best available)! Parking was expensive at £17.50 for "24 hours" alrthough in reality this only meant until checkout but they were flexible on this AND even with this charge the room was amazing value for a city centre hotel of such quality and the car park did feel very safe and secure. EVERY member (without exception) of staff from receptionists to cleaners were friendly and extremely helpful. TBH hard to fault this hotel on anything.

If you're looking for a place to stay when you're going to events at the Utilia Arena Birmingham (or even just going into the city centre), then look no further than the Staycity Aparthotel in the Jewellery Quarter....just an easy 10 minute walk down the canalside path to ghe Arena. It was our first time staying in any Staycity Aparthotel, and we were definitely not disappointed. The apartment was well designed, with separate living room and bedroom. The bed was so comfy.......I had the best night's sleep that I've had in a long time. The shower was a decent size, and really powerful too. There is also onsite secure parking too.......there are only a couple of dozen spaces though, so early booking is a must. Breakfast had a good choice, and was plentiful, and ghe staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend this Staycity Aparthotel

We have a great experience Pre booked car park was great and the code to get it Breakfast was lovely the lady that was on was amazing I wish I got her name she was so helpful and attentive Local was great Room was amazing I would highly recommended it everything you would need was provided and then some Coffee machine was a nice addition Room very clean and comfortable

Great location for the Utilita Arena. Rooms were comfortable, some of the furniture looked a little worn. The staff were very good. Check i and check out was nice and easy. Parking was a little expensive but the oarking garage is secure.

Great to use the check in before we arrived. I tried to message a few times on app with no response to book parking with no response. When i called the service was excellent and parking was booked easily. When we arrived parking on site was easy to use and secure. Just gave number plate at reception. Great welcome and keys ready on arrival thanks to the pre check in. Room was well equipped and clean. It was a short walk to the nia along the canal. Great location. Check out was easy and again made to feel valued. Most of all this was great value for money and would stay again.

This was a very convenient hotel for spending a few days in Birmingham. It was only a short walk from the city centre, and came equipped with a mini-fridge. It also had a parking garage available right next to the hotel. Our only complaint was that the bathroom didn't offer enough shelves for storing our toiletries.

great little apartment in good location. Layout was a bit weird and the walls a little bit worn but the kitchen was in good condition and well equiped. bathroom had a drains smell slightly which was a little unpleasant but overall great space.

Comfy heds, nice to have a tv in each area. Fully equiped kitchenette with tea, coffee, and washing up items. Had a duvet and sheet for sofs bed in the cupboard, but no extra pillows? Wear and tear to the flooring, and lack of cleaning attention to detail in corners and behind doors etc.

The actual property was nice and the room was very spacious. I didn’t feel like the room had been cleaned though; there were marks in the toilet bowl which disappeared after I had flushed a couple of times and stuff was left in the bin - cleaning the toilet and emptying the bins in a hotel room is standard practice so that lead me to think the room was not cleaned. So having paid £81, I wasn’t very impressed. The bed was also two single beds pushed together to create a double bed, which ordinarily I wouldn’t have an issue with but one was noticeably taller than the other and one was really uncomfortable, so could only sleep on one side. Unfortunately too, people were loud outside - thankfully I bought my ear plugs. That’s totally outside of the hotel’s control though. Parking is £17 too per night, which I think is absolutely extortionate. Thankfully it was only the one night. Despite all of the above, there were good amenities in the room, the shower was nice, the room was extremely spacious and it was in a good location for work.

Upon check-in we were given a key card that didn’t work and once we were able to enter our room there was only twin beds not a double bed - apparently this is because we booked through Expedia - so we had several trips to reception within the first few minutes of our stay. We moved rooms to a double (217) and the bedroom was below standards. The floor was filthy and turned my white socks jet black. The walls seemed to be paper thin because we could hear every little noise from the hallway in the night including slamming doors which made our door own shake each time. We accidentally left an item behind which we realised after check-out and we’ve been trying to retrieve it since, but the staff are not interested in helping us and have stopped replying to my emails/messages. I’m really unimpressed and disappointed with the lack of care they’ve shown and I can’t recommend this as a place to stay.

Lovely two bedroomed apartment. Fully equipped kitchen (no oven), but there is a microwave, toaster, hob, fridge etc Only downside no TV in the main bedroom - just in the living room/kitchen. It was clean and very spacious. Only £7 in an Uber to get to New Street Station. There is a Tesco Express/Co-Op just round the corner. I would definitely return.

Travelled with my daughters. The check in was good nice staff. The apartment itself wasn’t that big we felt on top of each other. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable. The shower flooded and you couldn’t spend too long in there. There was no lock on the door. The air con was rubbish didn’t really work. Floors didn’t feel clean

Staff were all lovely throughout the stay. Couldn’t fault them. The issues were that I was charged again for my room when it had already been pre paid through hotels.com. The 2nd payment was taken on a different card to what the hotel was initially booked on and had been used to pay for breakfast. The bed had a lovely big mattress, but the base that it sat on was for a smaller bed, so about a foot of mattress was hanging over the side unsupported. Hotel was ideally located for Utilita but didn’t have enough parking so had to arrange to park elsewhere when I tried to pre book the parking the week before the stay.

As per my other reviews. Its brilliant accommodation in a central area. Tjw apartments are clean and well equipped. The staff are lovely On checkout we were asked for payment, i explained it was booked/paid through Hotel.com the staff member was very busy, but quite instant we had payment to make and wanted to see the email from Hotel.com before they would check us out, with a taxi waiting on the meter this is not the last experience i wanted from these guys. But would still recommend ruem 100%

A few friends and I stayed to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was excellent — something not many places can match. The reception was warm and welcoming. Debbie, in particular, was efficient, offered great suggestions for evening activities, and delivered her service with a genuine smile.

Despite completing online check in prior to arrival and being told to 'just collect my key' when I got there, it took 10 minutes to check in when I arrived. It was difficult to understand what the receptionist was asking for. It was difficult to understand how to gain access to the car park.

An easy 10 minute walk from New Street and close to the Jewellery Quarter. Shame all the museums were closed while we were there. Great room facilities and very good customer service. Luggage storage available which was handy on the day we checked out.

first time in a stay city and a great concept. Debbie and her team were uber wonderful, especially Debbie the Manager was very attentive an fussing over everyone and every detail. The only thing missing was a lock on the bathroom door and TV was a bit on the small size in the main bedroom. Breakfast was great and staff made the place as well as the great rates.

The hotel was really well situated to walk to town without needing to pay for taxis. The hotel was clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The only slight issues I found were you have to get a code for pre booked parking on arrival and outside the hotel is double yellow lined so an issue of where to park before you check in. Also the room stated it has an oven but only had a microwave and hob so not easy to cook if you are staying for a few days.
