Stayed 4 nights

My room was only cleaned 1 of the 4 nights I stayed there, despite the fact that they claim to offer daily housekeeping. Additionally, house-keeping staff were loud in the hallway starting early in the morning, yet still didn’t clean all rooms.

The best part of this hotel is the location— easily walkable to the Art Institute, aquarium, Field Museum, and Lou Malnati’s. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Downsides— I don’t think the AC worked in our room. Housekeeping was sporadic, one day they came way too early while we were still getting ready, and one day they came at 5 after we’d been out all day and were now back getting ready for dinner. So we only got housekeeping once. Another morning we had an early knock on the door because staff was trying to deliver coffee to someone and had the wrong room. Also, the restaurant is really not good. Even with vouchers from the front desk, we only ate there once and regretted it. Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again, but it’s probably fine for a short stay.

great hotel! love the cleaning staff. they are very good at having everything clean and every day my room was spotless thanks to these ladies. front staff was good too but some seemed a bit unwelcoming at times. but other than that, great place just wish it was a bit more cheaper.
