The breakfast buffet was awful. The food was cold and very minimal. The phones did not work to call the front desk. On day 2 tried to get toilet paper from the front desk but was told “we are completely out.” The room was fine but we needed more than 3 towels. The elevator rattled and shook and was pretty scary to ride.

Two things , my shower was dirty , I have a photo. Secondly, no one told us that the outside entry closest to the rooms , the key card entry was broken, while it is raining we are trying to unload our bags at a broken door. Then the dirty shower.

Everything about the hotel was great and the staff was outstanding. My only complaint is related to the snow and the poor response to it. They didn't get the parking lot plowed in a timely manner and they didn't seem to be using any salt for the parking lot so it was a mess. The area right outside the front doors was not cleaned well either. It just seems to me that a nice hotel like this should have a better plan for snow removal.

The room was very clean and smelled good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing! The only issues were the elevator was sketchy- only one was working so wait times were long, the pool was out of commission and the plugs/usb next to the bed and under the tv didn’t work so charging was a pain. There isn’t a dim light in the bathroom, so nightly visits were very bright. The bathroom door could use a soft close hinge as they slammed shut and were very loud from the room and nearby rooms. These being small issues, I would stay here again because it was so clean!

I stay at this hotel every 3-4 months. This time it was a headache. One thing after another. Almost every night i had to go down to get new keys as mine would not work. Then i asked about having my room cleaned one day. Just sheets changed, trash removed and new towels. It didn’t get done until almost 5pm and i had to ask 3 times. They were in no way organized for the work being done in the parking lot- the repaving. Then every day they were either knocking on my door or calling to see if i was parked in the wrong area. The last day some alarm was going off in my room. Extremely loud. Maintenance came up and disconnected the fire alarm. It was impossible to relax in my room this trip. Which is sad as i always stay here. Not so sure for next time. Normally i have the best experience. This time it was one thing after another.

Property overall is well kept and clean. Room cleaning was terrific. Dining, bar staff and desk staff seriously understaffed. Young bartender serving food that sickened us. Untrained making cocktails. Beer and wine assortment pitiful. The lack of training created a serious health hazard and an unsatisfactory experience. Free laundry included a dryer that did not dry. Everyone working there knew about it but nothing had been fixed. Wasted a half a day of my vacation on wet clothes. Ice machine closed for repairs and nobody at the front desk knew about it. Subpar attention.

Check in was fast we headed up to our room to find a bunch of hair on one of our beds. I called reception immediately and we were switched to a new room. The new room seemed ok, in the night I found blood on our comforter. I threw it on the floor to sleep with the sheet. I didn’t bother telling the staff because I was tired of dragging things into different rooms. If I wasnt travelling with my daughter I would have left during the first night

Rooms were very clean and nice, the facility was similarly clean and well cared for. Curtains had the option of black out or light filtering. There were 2 work station options in my room which was 2 double/ queen beds. The tv had a connectivity port and there were ample outings for charging multiple devices. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Pillows, mattress, and bedding were all comfortable and soft. The room, hallway, and property were well lit. Breakfast during the week is order at the lobby restaurant style.

Convenient, clean, well priced for the area, comfortable good sized room. Staff very friendly, courteous & efficient. Negative: very noisy with people talking & running up & down the hallway until about 11:30 pm, then the noise began again at 1:30 am. Lots of door slamming. Rooms evidently not soundproofed. Needless to say, I’m exhausted!

The address is showing a different location on maps than the physical location of the hotel. Interior door lock is busted and the bathtub stopper doesn’t work. The check in was easy and courteous. She was very professional and happy to help. Despite the little problems I will be back.

Check-in was a breeze. Theresa was amazing!!!! She was friendly, polite, engaging and professional. The property was very clean, the room was immaculate and the bed.....I was trying to figure out, how I could pack it into my car.... LOL!!!! So happy to have chosen this location!! Our stay was perfect in every way!! Our check in with Moses was delightful!! He is sure an engaging young man! The next morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Our waitress, Robin, was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. And, Jerome made me a “perfect” omelette!!! We checked out with Teresa and enjoyed some pleasant conversation!! All and all so happy to have visited with your staff! What a treat!! Thank you so very much!! Would definitely stay with you again if the occasion arises.

Wow the experience here was awesome. The Entire staff is warm and friendly. Very resourceful. Sharing a wealth of information about the city, places to go, things to do, restaurants, fun activities, they also always made us fell at home away from home . Hotel is always clean, from top to bottom filled with table goodies and keep sakes.. Rooms are spotless nice size . This was the best hotel experience ever! Thank you so very much.

I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who were very accommodating, and was checked in without delay. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. And the complimentary breakfast was enjoyable every morning of my stay. It felf like home. Thanks Holiday Inn Mishawaka for the hospitality! I will definitely be back!

I reached out to the general/ property manager on 8/9/25 and he has not responded to my email yet. While I understand and have no major issues with the hotel other than the loud and heavy bathroom door and the incidental charges, I was not informed of them prior to my card being charged. We have stayed here a few times for Notre Dame events. About 15 minutes from campus. Very quiet and safe, at the end of Douglass Road. Clean room. Would stay here again for sure.

GPS is a little off. We arrived and could see property but GPS said continue on .7? We were able to check in early. Room was very nice and clean, along with the pool and exercise room. Breakfast was buffet style with nice assortment of yogurt, pastries, scrambed eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy. They also had the best hotel oatmeal I have ever had, with variety of stir in's available! We paid $3.00 for a 16z bottle of Walmart water which was a little ridiculous! The card reader for the entrance door by our room was broken. We could get out but not back in.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this location! This has been by far my best hotel stay! The place was clean and the staff is so friendly and professional. They serve an actual breakfast which is made to order and it's hot and very tasty! I highly recommend this hotel

Disappointed. They confirmed they served breakfast in the morning . We needed breakfast before our campus visit and in the morning there was no breakfast offered, kitchen wasn’t open and no one had a reason. They just said not serving today.

The staff was friendly. There was a Rugby tournament in town. There were a couple teams staying in the hotel. Great group of young adults. The disappointing part of the property was the bar. There was no draft beer and it closed at 10:00. The bartender was very nice. She mentioned there has not been any draft beer for awhile yet the handles are there. Over all the property was very nice.

Stay was good. The only confusing thing was I thought they offered a continental breakfast like everyone else. But they have a restaurant. So no continental breakfast. Just the restaurant is closed on Sundays on Mondays.
