Pool was and hot tub was unheated. One of the reasons I chose this hotel. I asked about comping something or a discount and was told I could cancel my reservation no charge as my only option. Nope.

Nice hotel- clean rooms, good sized bathroom and showerw/controls in correct position. Several dining options nearby. View was an empty lot next to highway, but still quiet. Had 2nd best hotel gym ever been to- UW Badgers football team could use it as a backup. Only better one is Courtyard Farmingdale. Good staff, breakfast was incl. Would stay there again.

Overall very pleased. The abandoned multi-plex was not unsafe, but was not a pleasant view from our room. The hotel was in very good shape and staff were very friendly. Although the hotel is not old, there were several places where paint was peeling on the window sills near where the metal frame windows came in contact with the wall. Did not look like leaks but probably excessive condensation in winter that was not removed.

It was rated “exceptional” or 9.4 to 10 it’s more like “good” or 8.5. It was dirty and didn’t look like it hasn’t been dusted or wiped down over the bed for months . A lot of dust up there.

One of the best clean hotels in Madison area. The entire facility is smoke free. Airly and VERY clean. The front desk lady was very professional and welcoming.

There were bugs all around my room. They were on the toilet seat, the window sill, the floor, and randomly flying around. They seem to be more active during the day. I arrived late evening to the hotel and didn’t notice much. When the sun came out is when I saw the horror. They were even in my bed sheets. I must have crushed some of them as there were remnants and bits all over my bed. The manager was not very helpful and has not approved a refund yet. Stay away from this place. Stay in nearby Mauston for better hotels and restaurants.

We stayed here a few years back and it was pretty great as of May 2023 it was pretty dirty. The carpet on the way to the elevator was very stained. The elevator carpet was very stained and the walls in the elevator were quite dirty. The room it self was ok. An odd smell about it. The bedding was clean but the walls and ceiling and carpet were full of stains. The corner next to one of the beds looked like soda was spilled all over the wall and carpets and never even wiped up. The bathroom floor at first glance seemed cleaned but when you looked closer it was pretty grimey. In general the stay was just ok. $190 dollars worth of ok???? Not really.

I liked how clean it was and staff was great! We stayed on the third floor and it sounded like children were were running around upstairs on the 4th floor after ten p.m. and it was finally quiet, around eleven. I would have liked it quiet earlier but it's not a big deal. Overall, good experience.

Room type that was booked online was not given to me at check in. We needed it to fit our group size and so someone had to sleep on the floor. Refund for the room type we booked at the higher cost was not given to me upon leaving the hotel. They said it was not their fault for this, but Hotel.com’s fault.

The room was nice. Front desk staff were slow and not particularly helpful. The shuttle which I was told ran on the half hour only came on demand and it took 30 minutes to arrive after being called. I won't stay here again.

Place was very nice. Clean, roomy and confortable. Not fancy. Only problem was they advertised shuttle from airport but turnaround was more than an hour forcing us to take Lyft for $20. Shuttle was primary reason we chose this hotel over another. Overall, hotel was excellent but shuttle availability was misleading.

We accidentally went to the other hotel in Madison first and it was crowded and crazy. We were very relieved to arrive at this much more peaceful hotel. The welcoming staff was great and the breakfast was the best we had on our vacation. We also were grateful for all of the surrounding restaurants.

Three elderly couples wanted pancakes and could not get the machine to work. So, a 3-4 year old walks up, sets down her plate and pushes the button. The next day the staff kept an eye on the pancake machine and offered help when needed :)
