For the condition and location of the hotel - we overpaid at $70 for a Saturday night. The front desk is thru a bullet proof window and the location is sketchy at best. But the shower was hot. The fridge in the room worked. Heat worked great. Maybe a little too well. And we were comfy with our pets inside and not in the cold car.

I left the first spot i tried to stay. Was told my truck would be stripped by morning, by the inn keep. Next hotel, this hotel had security fence but between the live in's stereo and the jailhouse(paper thin)pillows, my wake up alarms startled me, while driving over an hour inttoy drive. Would not recommend Albuquerque to anyone needing a hotel

The room was disgusting. Bed was stained and had cigarette holes in it. The walls were stained and dirty. Homeless everywhere. Dirty area. Very unsafe. Not worth the money at all. Would like refund!!!!!!!

My stay at the Travelodge in Albuquerque was quite possibly the WORST hotel experience I've ever had. Room was not clean--there were long dark hairs in the bathtub and in the sink. The hotel phone didn't work, the TV didn't work, and best of all a large group of people (seemed to be families with young kids) thought it was ok to scream and play and basically hang out in the courtyard right outside of my room well into the night. This is a Travelodge--people who stop here have been driving long distances and just want a place to sleep. I called the front desk multiple times to ask for assistance with quieting them down and was told "they are regulars and are stubborn".

I did not sleep in this room for fear of roaches crawling into my ears or mouth. I could not bring my luggage into the room for fear of bringing roaches home with me. DISGUSTING! The management was willing to do nothing to help. TERRIBLE service. I do not recommend staying at this place

The room was clean, but looked very worn out. The bed blankets and curtains had holes/tattered. The area was noisey and did have police activity in the parking lot at checkout. The biggest frustration was how uncomfortable the bed and pillows were. It was impossible to sleep no matter how much we tried to find a comfortable sleeping position.

Upon arrival I was greeted my a street full of homeless blocking the entrance.. counter staff was nice.. got to my room.. florescent fixtures were bad and made loud buzzing when turned on.. mattress cover had hardened clear stains (I don't wanna know).. I had to sleep on the top sheet so I didn't have to sleep on the filth.. all night I could hear yelling outside.. this is obviously a bad part of town. Lesson learned.

The property itself is what you’d expect from a Travelodge—cheap, reasonably well kept, NOT a place for a luxury retreat. The basics are all here and worn but functional. Check in was super fast, efficient and very accommodating. My room is thoroughly decent and, for me, a smoking room is a real treat these days. Close to the interstate on the west edge of Albuquerque, it’s convenient to fast food and a convenience store next door. The only negative is the rather large number of homeless folks hanging out on the edge of the property. Nothing rowdy or dangerous seeming but I can see where it might make some uncomfortable. For a business man on his last night of 22 on the road, it was home sweet home enough for a night.

Hope you aren’t disabled and wanting to stay here! We are able bodied but were put in the ADA Suite. As a retired Occup. Therapist and just a person. I found this room lacking. For the handicapped person, the comfortable bed is too high to be able to transfer to from a WC. Evidently, this was also the spare parts room for the motel. It appeared they had put a barely operating refrigerator in there with no separator for the freezer and a massive build up of ice perhaps exchanged from a room with a working refrigerator). And someone may have taken a coffee maker from one of the other rooms, so the one from this room was substituted. The edges of the floor in the BA were white and crusty, which was easily removed in one spot with a Kleenex soaked with water. The drain grate was crusty with grout and other yuck. I hope the other rooms were better maintained. If so, this is an insult to the disabled in need of a clean, comfortable room.

Mattress was comfortable, bedspread dirty. Walls dirty. Bathtub, toilet and sink clean. Microwave dirty. Heating good and quiet. Drapes dirty. Slept well. A little effort at maintenance and cleanliness and it would have been a nicer stay.

When my grandson and I went to check in, the guy said a $100.00 per room deposit was required for incidentals, I told my grandson that I thought that was ridiculous since I didn't see anything worth having. The guy checking us in, got really angry and would not give us a room, even though it was paid for. He told us he was not going to have me talk that way about the property and we needed to leave. We left and checked in to another hotel. This Travelodge is a mess and there were homeless people hanging around. I would NEVER go there again and recommend anyone thinking about booking this should really check it out first.

i know theres not much they can do about the area outside, but the unsafe feeling you get even before you enter the parklot is very unsettling. Didnt even get out of the car, drove another hour to another town

When I arrived I was told that they were sold out due to a balloon festival; I'm still waiting on a refund as I had prepaid. Additionally the parking lot and surrounding sidewalk (open to the non-secure parking) was filled with homeless, two obvious prostitutes, and people openly smoking out of crack pipes, and another that appeared to be on heroin, completely bent over at the waist. I have photos and video, however, I will not post as it says to make sure they are family friendly.

Police sirens all night, tons of homeless day and night, felt very unsafe walking around at night and definitely not worth the money. Dirty rooms dirty blankets full of cigarette ash, pee, and dog paw prints. Be smart, pay the extra cash for a nicer hotel in a nicer area.
