An excellent stay at this gem of a hotel. The room was a generous size for Paris with a wonderful balcony which we used a lot especially early morning & late at night . The Staff are incredibly helpful & friendly . We will definitely return

Lovely property but not the best area for kids. The staff were wonderful annd helpful and accommodated an early check in which was very appreciated after our long flight in to Paris. The air conditioning was broke but they fixed it and the lift was broke on the day we left, which would have been hard for anyone with mobility challenges as the staircase was steep. We only stayed one night in Paris and unfortunately the neighbourhood wasn’t great with families, but it was close to the metro so we could go see the city easily, and it was very lively area for adults, but too close to the red light district for our comfort. Great for adults.

On a side street so no worries about noise at night. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have. 2 minute walk to the metro. Solid breakfast. Offer shuttle service to and from the airport for a fee. I plan on staying here again!

It’s a boutique & characterful hotel. Always have someone on the front desk & Noelle in particular was very helpful. Best part was the shower - incredible water pressure & both rain shower & handheld shower rose. The area has lots going on but is a little far from the main city monuments. Discovered bus route 30 gets you there for 2.50 euros - much cheaper than a cab!

Apparently, the elevators is broken down for at least a month. We were not notified of that. The room was on the 5th level we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs, when we ask for an extra towel we were told We cannot have one, only allow two towels. It was bags of laundries in the hallway on every level stereos were very narrow and very steep spiral stairs, very unsafe for trip hazard to climb with luggage in your hand and come down stairs with luggage in your hand

The room was clean and the shower was one of the best overhead I had ever experienced. Expedia needs to update the facilities/amenities section as they do NOT have laundry facilities for guests. I was expecting this and planned around it. Also, I read reviews that the lift is frequently not working. Guess what, on my last night it malfunctioned and I was on the fifth floor.

Chegamos ao hotel e notamos um cheiro ruim. Quando chegamos ao quarto ficamos impressionados com o tamanho e a pouca claridade. No site fala 14m2 porem, parece bem menor. Não entediamos o cheiro do Hotel ate que nos segundo dia, vimos que a limpeza era feita com Vinagre e entendemos que o cheiro forte era de disso, ficando assim muito desagradável o odor forte. Enfim, quarto pequeno, muito escuro e cheiro muito desagradável. O café da manha era muito bom.

Lovely small hotel in good location. Room quite small but good quality- best rainfall shower ever had and bed extremely comfortable. Unfortunately found a worn pair of dirty boxer shorts behind a curtain - so obviously cleaner had not checked !! Breakfast good but lacking a bit in choice and little atmosphere. Staff very pleasant on the whole. The hotel would benefit from a bar for evening drinks. Quite a noisy hotel at night though with constant sound of plumbing and creaky stairs. Reasonable value.

We really liked the large sized room with a separate sleeping area for our teen daughters. The shower was AMAZING! Staff was friendly & helped arrange a very early morning transfer to the train station. The driver was friendly & punctual. IF you have very young children just know that this area has a lot of adult boutiques that may require you to teach them the birds & the bees!

Place is a nice and cozy place. The balcony was a plus. The only thing we disliked was that we had no control over the AC/heater. We had to call front desk every time we wanted it changed. It got cold at night and we called to turn the heat up but we never felt it get warm. The room didn’t have blankets only a thin comforter. Other than that it was a nice place.

Personal war einigermaßen bemüht, aber auch nicht mehr. Die Einrichtung mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Kaum Steckdosen in Zimmern, in denen man sich kaum umdrehen konnte. Das Frühstück war eine Zumutung! Angebrochene und teilweise benutzte Lebensmittel wurden vor den Augen der Gäste zurück auf das Bufet gelegt. Und die Auswahl war leider nur Billigware. Insgesamt leider sehr ernüchternd und definitiv keine Weiterempfehlung!

Hade väntat oss mer av hotellet. Ytmässigt var rummet bra, men luften gjorde att det kändes väldigt instängt. Toaletten luktade avlopp, en stank som blev allt starkare för varje dag. Första dagen märktes det knappt, men vid tredje dagen gick det inte att ha dörren öppen i en minut innan hela rummet luktade avlopp. Rummet var väldigt dåligt isolerat, det var lätt att höra samtal från receptionen som var en våning nedanför vårt rum. Servicen upplevde vi som väldigt nonchalant, med undantag för frukostvärdinnan, som är enda anledningen att vi ger servicen 2 stjärnor istället för 1. Man bör inte vara för pryd om man vill bo i området, då det är omgivet av väldigt mycket stripplubbar och "sex-butiker" bara runt hörnet. Jag rekommenderar att besöka Paris, finns så mycket att se och göra, men hotellet rekommenderar jag inte.

As you exit the property, if you take a left there is a lovely street full of restaurants. If you take a right you are in easy walking distance of Blanche station which is manned and so attendants can assist you with buying a navigo ticket. Also great access to sacre coer. If you take a right out of the hotel and then left there is a supermarket market which had huge pain au chocolates. Delicious. There is a gentleman’s club opposite the hotel which is only open later in the evening and so my children never saw anything. Also along the main road which you have to walk to the stations there are a lot of XXX shops. Which didn’t bother us as our children are too young to understand, but may be a bit of a different situation if you have older children. We managed to see most of the sites and spend a day in Disney in the 3 days easily from this location. The delux suite was spacious and enough for a family of 4. Would happily stay again.

I reserved a superior room and received ground level adjacent to reception. I could hear each person at reception. Windows faced into adjacent room - no privacy. I requested money back - they would not accommodate change in room or return of funds. The only good thing it is centrally located in Pigalle next to a good restaurant.

Staff was very helpful in accommodating us as the AC was down in our room on a hot night. Gave us a room to sleep in (w/AC) and had it fixed the next day. Nice rooms, clean and right in the heart of Pigalle. Would def stay here again.

Really quite surprised at how good this place was. There was a second bedroom with fold out couch so we were able to have our own room and the kids have their own room too. Service was fantastic. Always offering to help. Was able to provide at short notice babysitter and she was lovely.

Es wurde nach der Abreise ein (zusätzlicher) Betrag in Höhe von € 9,50 von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Erst auf Nachfrage teilte das Hotel mit, dass es sich um eine Konsumation aus der Minibar handeln würde. Wir haben nichts aus der Minibar konsumiert. Dies ist dem Hotel egal. Es erfolgte keine weitere Reaktion mehr auf unsere Beschwerde. Auf Grund dieser unseriösen Geschäftspraktik können wir das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Wer weiß in welcher Höhe das nächste Mal nach der Abreise Geld abgebucht wird. Es geht nicht um den Betrag sondern um das Prinzip.

We had a great family stay at the Hotel Saint Louis. The staff were really friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed and the hotel is in a good location for walking to Monmatre. There are also two metro stations close by. If you are going with children, then be aware that Pigalle still has lots of 'adult establishments' - but it didn't ever feel unsafe walking in the area around the hotel. It was a great base for exploring Paris. We would definitely go back.

A perfect little oasis in a less frenetic area of Paris, just down the hill from montmartre. Yes there are sex shops around the corner, but it doesn’t feel seedy or scary, and I was a 61-year-old woman alone for my first two days. It’s tiny but makes great use of space, lots of storage, especially in the bathroom with a great shower. The street is quiet, especially with the windows closed. Caroline and Ian at the front desk were the best. Even if my budget was doubled, I’d come back here - I’d just request one of those Eiffel Tower view rooms on top.

Nice accommodation, close to metro stations and beautiful Paris hill Montmartre walking distance… surprisingly a lot of adult shops around :) clean and quiet… breakfast wasn’t the best, there was no fresh vegetables available, eggs were coming from container that was warmed up sometimes not enough so they were cold and not the best, bacon same basically every was so artificial except pastries but cheap and free for the kids!

Great location , quiet side street amongst all the tourists. Wonderful starting point to reach sacre cœur. Easy communication with staff and rooms were well appointed. Breakfast well worth the 18euro .

Un très bel hôtel dans un quartier très sympa. L'état général de l'hôtel me semble très bien tenu. Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible. La suite rooftop est magnifique avec une superbe vue dégagée sur la Tour Eiffel. La station de métro est juste à coté. L'hôtel est bien fréquenté que cela soit en famille ou en couple. Petit déjeuner agréable. Nous reviendrons surement.

Excellent staff at this hotel. Especially Noelle. Cant say enough good things about the staff. Only reason not getting 10 out of 10 is that area is noisy making it difficult to sleep if windows are open. (On street side) Good breakfast.
