Television did not work whatsoever, there was a leftover takeout box in the mini fridge as well as suspicious white stains all over the upholstered couch. Ended up canceling my stay. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful despite the situation.

Worst place I have ever stayed!! The room was filthy!! Shower didn't drain and had a pool of water in it.. we literally spent hrs choosing cleaning the room and missed our first day at a festival that we paid to go to. "Ask other places to stay were also booked up because of the festival" or we would have left... We ended up going and buying new bedding, pillows and a plastic waterproof cover for the bed. The ones they had on it were stained yellow and had burn holes on them. The Jacuzzi tub was nasty and barely worked.. ohh and when the people upstairs took a shower, the water was coming down into our bathroom!! Nothing was done about any of it.. horrible management!! Save yourself the time and go somewhere else!! Wish I would have read the reviews before booking. Lessoned learned

We stayed here because of the high prices at the nice hotels in the Louisville area and this was somewhat affordable considering how the hotels jack up the prices for special events as in the Kentucky Derby. The room itself was clean enough and the bed comfortable but the exterior of the building complex was scary. We had to have someone from the front desk open our room each time we wanted to enter upon returning. This was a major inconvenience but Budgetel made good and returned some money which was fair. On any other occasion I’d say look for someplace else.

The property over all was meh. It also housed a bunch of extended stay as well. Tv didnt work ( the remote wasnt even for that tv) 5 day stay for 2 and we had 2 paperthin towels , large gap at the bottom of the door ( could see daylight thru it ). The neighboring property was kinda sketchy. But was close enough to our event and had plenty of food options close

Rented one of the "jetted tub" rooms, it was in the far back of the building and there were bird droppings everywhere. Room\'s floor was incredibly dirty despite being completely tile/easy to mop. Jetted tub was small and awkwardly arranged to make it hard to relax in it. Took forever for doordashers to find the room b/c it was so awkwardly placed, even with explicit instructions. AC/Heating unit sounded like it hadn\'t been maintained in years. At least the shower was nice, but the bathroom itself was just -tiny-.

For one I had the reservation for over 2 months and I called them the day of my check in which was paid in full for 2 months and they told me if I didn't arrive before midnight that it's possible that they could have given my hotel room away and I told them that I wouldn't be in that state until midnight so that was kind of inconsiderate considering I had a paid in full reservation for three nights and was from out of town. And their Wi-Fi definitely has issues it rarely worked and if it did I had to go outside of my hotel room just to get it to work. Also my key cards kept going out and wouldn't work to get back in the room as well

I will never stay here again. There was hair in my towels and sheets. Stained towels and sheets, with cigarette burns in them. Bed sheets had blood stains on them. Had to change rooms because of broken heater/ac. Also the safety latch was broken off. Very shady people live there and watch your every moment, as if they are waiting for the opportunity to rob you. Very old, odd smell, dirt in corners of the room. Door is not properly sealed. Heater does not fully heat room even when working. There was no microwave or refrigerator in my second room. Tv remote was broken. It was a nightmare. Never again...

The Hotel is in bad need of renovation. I had to ask the staff to come over both days to let us in to our room because of the door handle would not work. It was cold each morning and you could see the outside light under the door keeping the room cold.

Roaches in the room both dead and alive, the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, and the entire floor was coated in a slomy layer. Like someone didn't properly mop. When we tried to check in they told us the room would be ready at 3pm cause they had no rooms available, that part was uhderstandable as their check in time was 3pm, my issue came when, at 3pm, we returned to check in to our reservation and in front of us a gentleman bookes a room for 3 nights, but when we got to the desk, they were fully booked and told us we'd have to wait longer for a room. Just all-in-all a terrible stay, 0/10 would NOT reccomend.

It was absolutely the worst hotel I've ever seen. It does not deserve to be on expedia's website. There were mattresses outside of the rooms because of the overrun population of bed bugs. The room had rat traps in it The door had a 1-in gap between the door jamb and the door.

I was trying to overlook the fact the door handle fell off, but i drew the line when I saw the bed bugs. I will sleep in my car and bathe at a truck stop before I go back to Budgetel.

The room was bare bones, minimum a bed in a bathroom with the toilet and a broken down console dresser with the TV on top. Everything was chipped and un kempt. The bedding was nasty. I lifted it up the spread, and underneath the sheets were dirty little spots of dirt and pubic hairs. I believe sheets were never cleaned. They just threw over the spread on top. terrible terrible terrible. People walking around the property or not people I would want to associate with anywhere really. They were either down on the luck or They look like they were trying to catch a buzz.

This place is exactly what the name says a budget motel. The rooms are run down and have a stale scent of cigarettes with matching burn stains in the comforters. That said the staff was very friendly and the room was freshly cleaned prior to our arrival (the floor was still wet) which was very much appreciated! We had no issues with any types of bugs and it was exactly what we expected under the circumstances

I stay here a lot bc of the price. This place does have a bad reputation but don't count them out. The beautiful blonde in the front office will do everything she can to make sure your stay is what you expect. I found that employees are very friendly. Things are changing here for the good. I've notice it every time I stay. I had a valid issue and they made it right which made me feel like they appreciated my business. That alone changes things about the place. I will continue to stay here on the days I need a get away. Give this place a try

I've notice it every time I stay. I had a valid issue and they made it right which made me feel like they appreciated my business. That alone changes things about the place. I will continue to stay here on the days I need a get away. Give this place a try

We stayed here because of the high prices at the nice hotels in the Louisville area and this was somewhat affordable considering how the hotels jack up the prices for special events as in the Kentucky Derby. The room itself was clean enough and the bed comfortable but the exterior of the building complex was scary. We had to have someone from the front desk open our room each time we wanted to enter upon returning. This was a major inconvenience but Budgetel made good and returned some money which was fair. On any other occasion I’d say look for someplace else.

Staff was very rude when telling you that it is time leave. I was running about 10 minutes late. The staff rudely beat on the door and "it's after 11 y'all need to leave now!!" Complain to management, they agreed with him. And being a disabled war veteran that suffers from PTSD, it took a lot to refrain from physical confrontation. Will not be back. Was a regular.

Arrived after confirming and was told there were no rooms as they were overbooked. We had to find somewhere else to stay at midnight and ended up driving 90 mins away in the middle of the night. Very unhappy!

For one I had the reservation for over 2 months and I called them the day of my check in which was paid in full for 2 months and they told me if I didn't arrive before midnight that it's possible that they could have given my hotel room away and I told them that I wouldn't be in that state until midnight so that was kind of inconsiderate considering I had a paid in full reservation for three nights and was from out of town. And their Wi-Fi definitely has issues it rarely worked and if it did I had to go outside of my hotel room just to get it to work. Also my key cards kept going out and wouldn't work to get back in the room as well

The property over all was meh. It also housed a bunch of extended stay as well. Tv didnt work ( the remote wasnt even for that tv) 5 day stay for 2 and we had 2 paperthin towels , large gap at the bottom of the door ( could see daylight thru it ). The neighboring property was kinda sketchy. But was close enough to our event and had plenty of food options close

The manager was real nice and very helpful. I don’t know why but I didn’t have any hot water in my shower. That was not great having to shower with cold water. Overall the stay was ok.
