Very small and basic hotel next door to a gaming saloon, which also runs the place. the tenant was kind but the room was very small, no window, dirty footsteps on the bench/pouf by the bed should have been removed. Otherwise appeared clean enough. Access to the rooms on 1st floor is up a very steep staircase (no elevator) and the narrow corridor leading to the rooms is echoing every sound possible. Even with earplugs loud youth staying at other rooms woke us up at midnight when they decided to hang out in the hallway and shared kitchenette. At least the owners could put up signs and tell people to be absolutely quiet after 10PM when doors have no noise isolation at all. The aircondition was also quite noisy, but efficient at least. Convenient location next to the central bus and train stations.

The hotel has a great location for a quick stay if you have a flight leaving from Palermo, it’s really close to the central train station making transportation easier - however, the room had no water in the bathroom (not in the sink, shower or flush) in the morning of our flight and we couldn’t even brush our teeth. Also the bed sheets were full of stains. Regardless of being a cheap place, it could be better preserved.

Pretty much everything was ok just an annoying of cigarette smoke which really came from the place below which was the reception.

All the staff was excellent and courteous, especially housekeeping couple Rajan and his wife.
