Taormina Hotel y Casino

Traveled to San Jose for a Business trip. Stayed at the hotel over Halloween. They dis a wonderful job of decorating the facility for a large Halloween party, unfortunately a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert took place on Halloween so the party was canceled. Hotel Has a good restaurant, Several bars and good security for all people entering. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I'll be back. A good stay.

Great place. Wonderful fragrance in the hallways! Convenient. 24hr restaurant along with bar, club and casino. Know it’s always a bit hopping here so may not be for everyone. Friendly staff. Would stay again. Remember it is an adults only hotel. No kids :)

The casino had a wide range of gambling options and the 24hr bar has a lot of "social butterflies" to engage with.

All staff in this property was very helpful and friendly. Place is centrally located and hotel has three bars and two restaurants and casino if don’t feel like going away from hotel.

I rate the hotel a five star. I have stayed many times over the years and it has never let me down. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The property is always clean and in great shape. The rooms are spotless and always kept that way.

A lot of noise from the street, you'll hear clearly in your room. people with noise motorcycle just go in from of the hotel lobby and start all this noise and impossible to sleep, also you can hear clearly the other people besides your room. The spa massage is terrible. Not a good place to stay !

Front desk reception was excellent. Service in the restaurant and sports bar was very slow. A lot of outside noise if room is at the front of the building and wasn't expecting there to be so many ladies of the night🙄

Something was wrong at the front desk. May be computer issue. I had to wait 20 minutes.

reception was less than friendly and less than helpful hot water was not adequet 10 am, just got 1 wascloth and 2 towels had to request 2nd washcloth , they should know u will have guest in room , 2 female bartenders ignored me and were somewhat rude because my spainish wash poor , nice hotel and excellent restaurant enjoyed my stay

Meh… there are better adults only hotels. Breakfast was mediocre. Elevator was out of order for a couple days. Seemed angry that I arrived early, through they weren’t sold out. Casino got rid of video poker machines. Half the floor has roulette with bad odds.

In all my reviews of the hotels that I used here in Expedia, I have tried to be fair, honest and objective. I am a Platinum member and I have lots of experience using hotels that advertise in Expedia. This hotel left a sour taste in my palate. Expedia must give a warning that this hotel is For Adults only. I arrived early because of my early flight but not planning to check in as I know that check begins later in the afternoon. But I was greeted by the most rude and inhospitable staff at the registration desk. The rooms look older even though they say that the hotel is newly built. Block out curtains are partially detached and so cannot totally block the lights from outside. They do not give complimentary bottled water. The beds are soft but shows signs of being overused. They have a safe for your valuables. Hot water is good and so is Wi-Fi signal. The hotel is located in the lower area of historical downtown and so you have to walk going up and down if you want to visit touristic sites. I also got a warning from the front desk that the area is unsafe especially in the evening. The worst is the noise. I was not able to sleep during my last night as the loud noise from the bar and the people fighting right in front on the hotel entrance is so loud. I have video and photos to prove it. Breakfast is good at the restaurant of the hotel. Will definitely not stay in this hotel again.

The area is relatively peaceful surrounding the hotel, the hotel itself is lively throughout the evening. The Bar is a great place to hang out and watch sporting events. The Jungle Club is pretty nice and they have good food. Breakfast in the main restaurant is pleasant. overall good casino with a lively atmosphere. This is not ideal for families with kids!

The food was very expensive and low quality. The drink were club prices. I feel that this place is a rip off for Americans. A fire started on the floor of my room, and I was never told to exit the building by the hotel staff, and the fire alarm never was pulled if they even have one. By the time I got downstairs, there were 3 fire truck already outside.
