Used this hotel at attend the Baton Rouge Blues Festival. Very convenient, easy walk to all of the stages. Very nice room. Plenty of countertop space. Nice shower. Great blackout shades on the plentiful windows. The restaurant & bar are nice, but not cheap. They wouldn't valet my car because I had a bike/rack on the back (city lot less than a block away saved me $50 for my 3-day stay).

I really liked this hotel. Checkin was not early. It says check in at 4 and they mean it. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. View was great. We were in room 1009. The shower door made a horrible sound when closing and I fixed it. Didn’t try calling for service. I ate at the hotel twice and it was great. Parking is not easy or convenient. Garage is 30 a day. No in and out. There is valet - I don’t like valet. Someone else must have given my room number to valet - they tried to charge me for two nights! Black BMW - I don’t have a BMW. They removed the charge without complaint. I was here for USBC Nationals. It was an easy straight walk to the river center.

All around great stay. The hotel Is just beautiful. Free coffee downstairs in the grab and go market. I just wish I was told that there was a car available for short trips. I would have utilized this rather than relying on Uber. I wasn’t made aware until sunday evening after checking in of Friday. My room attendant was awesome. I don’t recall her name sorry. But she was so pleasant everytime she tended to my room. Beautiful hotel was fun exploring while having my morning coffee.

This historic hotel is perfectly placed in Downtown Baton Rouge. It is beautiful on the inside with all the amenities. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are updated and the shower was awesome. Fitness room was accessible and well stocked. The only down side was the Valet parking was expensive ($33) and since we were only staying overnight, it was too much. We found street parking nearby for hourly rates.

Love the feel of the hotel, but did need a little polishing. Dusty baseboards and smudges that looked like they have been over looked. Nothing major just little things that make a difference. The room was very trendy & the beds were comfortable. Down pillows are awful IMO. Shower was nice and hot. Bar was trendy & had an interesting menu. The seats at the bar were broke and feared of falling if I made the wrong move. We had the charcuterie board & gumbo. Charcuterie was good, but was missing one of the meats. Nothing around for breakfast. Employees were nice, but not warm. Valet was $33 and should have just found parking ourselves since the downtown area seemed a bit of a ghost town, but there was a parade going on when we arrived so it was easier for them to take the truck for us.

Overall the stay was decent. Pros: location was optimal for our destination. Staff was very nice and accommodating Dining options and hours The bed and pillows were fluffy and comfy! Cons: the hotel was a little more dated than expected. For $200+ a nice we had higher expectations The bathroom wasn’t as clean as again you would expect from a pricey hotel Our toilet did not work properly as upon flushing it would not go down. We were offered a plunger as pictured below. We were not transferred to another room or given any type of hotel credit.

This has to be one of my favorite, non resort, hotels in any state. Friendly staff, bartenders were awesome, room is spacious, clean, with great amenities. Will always go there when in town.

This is the nicest hotel in Baton Rouge but not without minor issues. The noise from the halls is very loud. Our room's bed was positioned on the wall that shares the hall and we could hear every word of every conversation people had while walking to the elevator. Valet tends to back up. The on-premise restaurant and bar are nice and convenient. As a converted bank, the rooms are t. Front desk attendant gave us wrong room number

We had a room with no window. It was extremely weird to be in a room that felt like a basement. That room was also on the side where they had live music. It was loud and hard to sleep. We did not ask to move because we arrived late and were traveling with a 7 year old. We are are at the restaurant on site, it was good but very pricey.

We were given a "uniquely designed" room which meant that we had a room with no windows. So, it was a bit of a mess. We loved Baton Rouge and the hotel lobby. But, our room was very disappointing.

Check in was delayed until 4:45pm due to a previous event requesting late check out!! You do not grant late check out if it’s going to hold up check in of the entire hotel the next day. No rooms ready due to people asking for late check out fully knowing they were leaving earlier anyway

Great stay, but I ordered room service and when it was delivered, the waitress told me she dropped a set of silverware in the elevator, and would bring a replacement immediately. I tipped her $20, she departed, and after waiting 20 minutes for my silverware, I finally walked downstairs and retrieved a set myself. When I cut into my steak, it was cold. $100 dinner ruined because a waitress couldn’t complete a simple task. The hotel deducted $50 from my bill for my troubles. Thanks a lot

I'm sure this is a great hotel if you show up at check in and are dressed up. It's certainly a beautiful lobby. Our room was even beautiful. But we weren't greeted when we arrived, I had to initiate conversation to check in, and we were given a room on the floor above the entrance, with the sign on the spotlights pointed right in our windows. It was loud outside and nobody spoke to us as we came and went each day. We had breakfast in the restaurant, and it was great, but overall just not a friendly place. The room was amazing, and would have been enjoyable if it had been a higher floor, or away from the front. I was really disappointed.

I had a great time at the watermark. Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. Everything I ate and drank in The Gregory was delicious and the team there was amazing. Very clean property. There are some good restaurants nearby and easy to walk to. Areas outside of 3-4 blocks are a little sketchy so just be on the lookout. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is nice, we stayed on a Saturday night and had a room on the side of the hotel that had a band and nightclub across the street. The partying was going on past midnight and we could hear the band from out room. that was somewhat of a problem

Was a quick overnight trip and wished we could have stayed longer! The historic building, decor, ambiance and our rooms were all amazing!! Drinks in the bar were also great with a wonderful atmosphere. Location was perfect for a concert at River Center and bars/pubs in close proximity to the hotel. We will definitely be back!

Hotel and hotel staff was amazing. Food was excellent, rooms very nice and clean. We only had one complaint, and that was the rap battle bar across the street that went on every single night until early early hours of the morning, it was very, very loud and very, very annoying. I can’t believe the city allows it.

Unique place, safe to walk to neighboring restaurants and parks. Room was great except yp in room was either warm or freezing depending on the auto AC fan. Also, wonderful bar up to the point where we could not get service while sitting there for over 10 minutes while we watched other customers walk up and receive service. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Everything about this hotel was great from location, to parking, to check-in, to accommodations. We loved our view of the river from our room, and the room is spacious with great amenities. The lobby bar is nice, with a lot of drink options. Our only dissatisfaction was with the service and food in the restaurant, The Gregory. We had brunch Sunday morning, and the menu is limited, service was slow and food was greasy. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Baton Rouge!

Beautiful hotel and room. Clean and well looked after. Our room was really nice and very modern. Only issue was with the bar. We had to leave a card to keep the tab running and we have had 2 charges put on there there when there should have only been one. Email the hotel but no reply. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Valet parking was great too.
