Really brilliant hotel, very nice and friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, location also great about 5 minutes away from the city centre. The hotel lobby is really nice with food options, a full bar in the evening and even some 24/7 soft drinks, water and snacks. The only downside for me was the bed as I have a bad back, but they provided additional cushioning and it went very well afterwards. Rooms are done in the afternoon and everything is sparkling clean. We will be back for sure.

Another great stay at the hotel. Comfy big bed meant a great sleep. Free buffet breakfast with hot and cold food. Centrally located. Only downside is the £10 for overnight parking onsite.

Excellent stay and very convenient for Uni. Breakfast buffet serving usual stuff. Nice bar area and nicely appointed room however there is no hairdryer. £10 to park car for 24 hours payable at reception.Would stay again

Excellent hotel in very convenient location. Comfortable, quiet, clean. The only criticism I might have is that the parking is limited and very cramped, and costs £10 per night. Also I couldn’t switch on the heating in the room as it is centrally controlled, so the room was a bit cold.

Was good over all but was nit impressed by the charge of £10 for parking especially when i could not get parked at one point asked for my money bk but then they managed to get a space as someone was taking up 2 spaces so think twice if u have a car

A two nights stay in a twin room , really wide comfortable single beds, excellent bathroom, breakfast was buffet service, good quality food, I didn’t eat there in the evening but the bar staff were very friendly and the lounge was comfortable. Very happy

Great location as the hotel wasn't far from most of the major activities and city centre of Dundee. There is some parking, but you have to be there right on check in time, we turned up around 5pm, and had to go in the underground car park where the spaces are extremely tight. The breakfast however, was great, plenty selection and good quality. Unfortunately our room was extremely dirty, there was black mold all around the toilet area, the bed creaked whenever you moved in it and the TV intermittently worked. Have stayed since in a Premier Inn, and there is no comparison between the two, the Premier Inn is a much better option than the money you would pay to stay here.

When I arrived 3 members of staff were bickering about how bad it is to work at Hampton by Hilton, I then checked was given a room key and no directions to where the room was, where the lift was and was not told I had to use my room key to operate the lift. When I got to the room there was used toilet paper down the pan and a dirty hankie in the bin. I took photographs of each.

Hotel is spotless, rooms are modern and have everything you need for your stay. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were delicious. Hotel has chargeable onsite parking for 24hrs, but I needed a bit longer and they helped me out without question. Would definitely recommend

It started of great as we got into our room early. Room was quite small, at one end of bed I couldn't move to get out. We did have a window but could not open it which was upsetting as we need air about the room and when we put air conditioning on it made noise all night. Plus we never had a fridge to store water and our stuff.

Staff were fantastic - friendly and accommodating. The location is walkable to downtown attractions and the mall. The train station is also nearby but I personally wouldn’t walk it with luggage. The room was missing a mini fridge, which we were told is not part of the brand of this hotel. I found the room to be a bit cramped or tight but it was nice and clean.

Nice, new-ish hotel in the city centre. Stayed with myself and two children age 6 and 8.Ten minutes from railway station. Air conditioner worked great. Staff were very nice. Especially appreciated the relatively low noise room. Could hear a bit in hall and neighbours bathroom sink but nothing that woke us (could have gotten lucky too). Bed was firm but comfortable enough. The pillows were all down and (I know first worst problem) not supportive enough. Breakfast was just ok (but included which was really the reason we chose this hotel over the Sheraton) - eggs seemed to be made from powder, juice was concentrate, coffee was average, but the waffles and baked goods were nice. A smart TV would've been nice. Overall good experience but seemed a bit more budget hotel than I was expecting.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating. We are a family of 4, and the room I booked was called a a Superior room which had two queen beds. I believe the actual beds in our room were double beds, but we weren’t concerned about that. We were exhausted after a day of travel. We were in the room less than a half hour and one of the beds broke! Bottom gave right out. A staff member came up and confirmed it was not safe to sleep on and two of the kids were sent to a separate room on a different floor. That was disappointing. But everyone was helpful and did what they could to keep us comfortable.

Very big room for this class of hotel, but a disappointingly small desk. My room had two large beds, and a view over a car park. No hotel I have ever stayed at has more plug sockets. Good breakfast selection, with black pudding on the first night, haggis on the second. Would have preferred both! The waffle maker is a nice touch, the only hotel outside the USA I have been in with one. Could do with a greater selection of cold meats and cheese

Staff were friendly and helpful and overall the property was clean. However, the beds were uncomfortable and felt like they needed new mattresses. Strange room shape made it harder to use the room, and being situated by a night club on a Saturday night meant the room was noisier than we would have liked.

Check in was disappointing and ultimately soured my experience. Waited more than 20 minutes to check in after 3pm whilst final checks were carried out. Every other person/family checked in ok. When I asked again how long, the mamager said final checks were being done but eventually gave us another room. Breakfast on first morning, they were out of stock of certain spreads, jams, juices and one staff member called it embarrassing to her colleague as numerous guests enquired. As frustrating for staff it is trying to get laundry from L level when guests were in lift, they could not have looked any more unimpressed when lift door opened. Room was.spacious and clean and housekeeping did a good job. Shame about the things that stick in your mind especially as we've stayed here a few times.

Our stay at the Hampton City Centre Dundee was wonderful. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and very helpful. Any requests we had were met with no hesitation- from baggage storage until we could check in, to storing our take away food containers until we were ready to eat. They provided us with information regarding tours and things to do and see during our stay. The room was excellent and well maintained. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to find accommodation in the area !

Staff are so helpful and attentive. Stayed for a couple of days with my dad who has vascular dementia and the staff were so understanding. My dad has mobility problems as well and an extremely helpful lady went round the breakfast buffet with him and carried his breakfast over to our table. I will certainly be back.

The aircondi tioner did not work, and the room was very heat and piorly ventilated. We called the front desk multiple times in the night to look into it but did not pick up the phone for hours until we call through our celphone. Also, after getting through and they promised to look i to the problem, they did not call back. We called a few more times, and they kept reassuring they are looking into it all to no avail, and they still dis not call us back. We ended up sleeping in underwear and manually fanning ourselves.

As the hotel had been so busy our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Kinga upgraded us to a corner view room and gave us 2 free drinks vouchers to make up for our wait. Excellent service from Kinga.

The location is just perfect for getting around the City, visiting the attractions and waterfront. No issues with noise even though there was a live concert across the road. The room was great, comfortable and temperature just right. Staff were fantastic and genuinely interested in guests. Also you'll never go hungry as there are great filling snacks options 24/7. Thank you so much Hampton Hilton. Hope to see you again on my next trip - 10 years from now!

Great location between the City Centre and University which was ideal for visiting our daughter who is studying at Dundee Uni. Excellent breakfast as usual for a Hampton’s hotel and the extra bonus of Hilton Honours membership (free!!) was welcomed. Good service by friendly staff. The only negative was having to pay for parking, but understandable given the Coty Centre location.

All staff very helpful and friendly Breakfast was busy and waiting for food to come out,only one coffee machine for a full hotel, ran out things like rolls. And a personal thing scrambled eggs,which I like, but these where like powdered eggs, and nothing else available

Lovely room, comfy beds, sink not comfortable for washing, small sink with large surroundings. Reception staff especially Carla were friendly and very helpful suggesting local restaurants. The only down side to our 2 night stay was the awful breakfast, basic, no options, powered scrambled egg.

Hotel stay was great, but breakfast was very disappointing. Fruit trays all empty and not refilled. No fresh fruit either - all empty. Empty bottles for waffles. Waited 10 minutes after asking then gave up!

Brilliant stay. Very clean and comfortable and the staff went out their way to be helpful / friendly. Particular plus was the brrakfast. Brilliant range, with plenty of gluten free options my daughter could have, and make your own waffles available too! Would not hestiate to visit again

Hotel in general really nice and modern. Breakfast was a fiasco. Waiting about for food to be cooked. Coffee machine not working till a member staff came to fix it. No bread for toast. Buffet is served in a very small area and constantly tripping over other guests. Room was really nice we had 2 queen beds and plenty of space.
