Had a fantastic overnight stay, when we arrived our room that we booked wasn’t ready however we were upgraded to a Hotel suite with the only difference being we wouldn’t have a kitchenette. Check in process was easy, you have to pay £13.95 for parking at the hotel however we parked round the back where you only get 45mins however as it was a Saturday afternoon was able to park there overnight. We also got a complimentary token for an arrival drink as it was our anniversary which was a really nice touch from the reception staff. The room was nice and clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you needed including complimentary soft drinks, coffee facilities. Nice big walk in shower. Very close walking distance to Dundee City. Breakfast was okay, lots of food and variety however cooked breakfast was warm and ran out of hash browns, ordered fried egg however finished breakfast before it came, then they put out hash browns later. Muffins were nice and coffee was okay for a bean to cup machine. Would recommend to friends and family.

The facilities in the room are excellent. The temperature was very hot. The corridors and communal areas were all hot with heaters on even though the temperature outside was very mild. This then transferred into the rooms. There was AC in rooms but it was difficult to cool the rooms down without making them too cold! Not very eco friendly. The only other issue I have is the charge for parking. Don’t think this should happen. It should be seen as an advantage of the facilities to have free parking

It was a lovely place to stay in a converted historic jute works. We enjoyed 3 days in a spacious apartment. Friendly and polite staff. When we arrived Wednesday they were holding a social night, including drinks and nibbles this was a pleasant surprise.

We were really pleased with our accommodation and staff were very helpful and kind. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, nice linens, wonderful bath with nice products. Having the kitchenette is very handy and we loved the variety of choices at breakfast. We used the gym which was had enough variety for a good workout. We walked to the museums, galleries and restaurants easily.

Fantastic 2 night stay. Suite was comfortable and very clean. We had our little fur babies with us, receptionist had jars of dog treats. Air con in suite was great. Couldn’t recommend enough. Will definitely be back. Only issue was having to pay £14.95 to park in the hotel car park!

Modern clean well appointed room with kitchenette )toaster, fridge, microwave, kettle, etc). Big shower. Good breakfast cold and hot buffet and made to order. Parking is a bit off. Small lot at £14 per night if you can get a spot. Local lot just opposite hotel free from 6pm to 8am and you can pre pay so cheaper option.

Very welcoming, clean and tidy rooms, some nice touches on the social evenings and a nice restaurant and bar attached. Only thing to note is parking was a little chaotic but I managed to get parked both nights.

Excellent, well proportioned room with very comfortable bed, good bathroom with first-rate shower, and well equipped kitchenette. Breakfast buffet was also very good (although the quality of coffee could be improved). We found free overnight parking at the East Port car park about 50m from the hotel.

I'll be honest the stay was awful. First off the car park is tiny and absolutely rammed, there was nowhere to park so ended up having to pay for overnight parking down the road. The room was absolutely boiling aswell and I don't think the temp meter works because despite lowering to 15 it didn't get any cooler. Ended up opening the windows which meant it was so noisy outside and even inside I could hear the boiler so loud it was unbearable. Must've woke up atleast 20 times during the night. Definitely would not reccomend or stay here again

I arrived late and didn't notice until morning that my room was below street level meaning anyone walking past the hotels was able to look down in to my room. It would have been nice to have been told this at check in. However the main issue was the bright red fire alarm / security l.e.d. in the ceiling which meant the room just would not go dark, leading to a very uncomfortable nights sleep (or lack thereof). I did raise this with the team the next day but not sure they would be able to do anything. I wont be staying again.

Property was lovely but room was extremely warm, as we stayed on the top floor the windows only opened an inch or so, therefore there was no way at all to cool the room down. The parking is a nightmare, there is not enough spaces and the parking is shared with a restaurant so very busy at the weekend.

Our suite was fairly spacious with a kitchen, dining and seating area plus separate bedroom and en suite. Very quiet too. Love the original exposed curved brick ceiling. Breakfast was plentiful but basic.

The staff are incredible, loyal, friendly, and like family. I cannot fault Staybridge suites always very clean very modern very good value and they even do a social evening during the week with free food and drink for an hour. It is like returning home and I always look forward to staying.

On our arrival very impressed with the hotel. Very nice room but unfortunately the television was faulty. We contacted reception and Florence was exceptionally helpful, by moving us to an upgraded room with complimentary drinks because of the inconvenience caused. We stayed for 2 nights, probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Immaculate, comfortable room, friendly staff and excellent food, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Reception team were excellent; professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and very clean and comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast - service not welcoming and felt like they were in a panic or didn’t know what to do? More staff to support in the dining room may help. The buffet was never stocked with full choice, and the ordered food (pancakes and poached eggs) took ages and was not great. There was a lack of clean cutlery and glasses and the vacated tables were left for ages before being cleaned for next customers so it was a messy environment I’d stay again but not book breakfast.

A great place to stay if you are getting familiar with the Dundee area. There is an interesting tunnel you must go through to get to the hotel, but my friend and I felt safe going through it at all times and the area is quiet.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Ive had very mixed experiences with hotels over the years and this one has to be one of the best. Friendly helpful staff, clean and contemporary decorated rooms and public areas. The room was a small suite with a well equipped kitchen area, microwave, hotring,fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Spacious bedroom with a sofa. Large shower room/toilet. Lots of arty touches to give a nod to the buildings previous use as a mill. Very comfortable and 5 min walk from bus station and 10 min walk from train station and town centre, though you do have to pay for your car overnight and there is limited parking. Breakfast was included and was great with fresh hot and cold food buffet style. Would highly recommend this place and intend to use it if and when i return to Dundee.

Beautiful hotel, room clean and comfortable. Bar quite expensive but close to the town center. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, came down at 9am, there was no bread, no croissants, no pastrys ,only sausages in the hot food section and nothing to put it in. Also breakfast area is very disjointed, with no flow Apart from that its a good hotel, i would recommend it..
