The staff was really friendly. However not really attentive or maybe understaffed. I asked about the restaurant and was led into a dining room. I waited around 10 minutes until someone came to take my order. When I went to the spa area there was no one there so I took towels myself. Another guest was also really confused. The turkish bath was not usable. In general the spa is underwhelming.

Very clean and cosy. Newly refurbished hotel and I asked for a quiet room and they probably gave me the most quiet one in the building! Has a good gym and sauna, comfy beds and pillows. I live in rural England so I usually find it hard sleeping in noisy cities but this wasn’t too bad

It is apparent that a lot of thought went into decorating the rooms and I was super impressed with the cleanness of it. Breakfast was excellent and they also have a lovely roof terrace with bar. I would definitely recommend the hotel!

Cool place with a library theme - used to be one. Restaurant was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was not your typical British fair - lots of healthy choices. Turkish spa down stairs. Small weight room and great sauna. Wi fi. Staff were great

Very fun hotel well worth a visit, the spa is fantastic to escape the world. Only a couple of points like the room run over didn’t leave enough towels or re stock the coffee, but over all a great hotel. I will be back

I originally booked the Limehouse Library because it is close to Troxy and it looked nice. It exceeded my expectations, this quirky, well-curated, concept hotel in a gem. Lovely roof terrace, cosy bar and lots of little spaces to explore. The spa is an added bonus especially as I had the sauna to myself. I will definitely return

We loved the aesthetic and vibe of the hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Turkish hamam was wonderful and a fantastic experience and the terrace was a lovely space to escape to with a book. I would stay here again!

Unique hotel with quaint look but tired with paint chips and dirty ceiling, cracked tiles and dirty corners in shower. Conveniently located close to Uber Boats & DLR. Bed was very comfy. Staff however were apathetic when responding to requests and seemed like they were put off with any request. Took over 8hrs to get our room cleaned, needed to ask twice for towels.

What a delightfully different hotel! Very clean, comfortable, nice food (only had breakfast) and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Delightfully quirkily decorated which is a nice change.

We loved the Limehouse Library Hotel! Loved the theme, lots of great artwork and interesting collections and figurines. Staff were lovely. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast amazing. 10/10!

There was a constant mildew smell when I left my room and entered the front desk/bar/breakfast area. I’m not sure why there was so much furniture and knickknacks around the hotel ? It was very odd. My breakfast was nice, I had a clean room and was within 10 minutes walking distance from the train (DLR) and buses. There were also a few restaurants and a convenience store. I enjoyed my stay other than the smell and all the items, but I can’t say I’ll be back.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, with good quality pillows. The shower taps were reversed (!?!), and the ceiling height in our mezzanine level room meant the hand held shower was hitting the ceiling. The grout in the bathroom needed redoing, and some mould in the corners could do with a good scrub. It was very quiet in yhe room, despite being next to the train line, and I loved the opening windows. Quirky, interesting and in a great location with the number 15 bus outside the door to take you right into town. Canary Wharf is a close walk if the ferry is more your style. Gordon Ramsey's Bread Street Kitchen is a 10 minute walk, and well worth a visit (or three in our case!).

Room was very nice and bathroom spacious and spotless. Just a drain smell in the room and we were on the third floor. Very noticeable as you returned to room and always had the window open, they must have known about it as you couldn’t avoid it.

Sadly my room was positioned with 3 huge and powerful air conditioning units right outside the two windows of my room , incredibly these units were powerfully working away from the moment I arrived into my room until the moment I checked out , I therefore had no sleep whatsoever during my stay , I spoke to the reception staff and they came to the room said they would attempt to get them turned off but of course there was no way they could do it , they said they were full so couldn't move me which is fair enough , so a sleepless night I was , and when checking out I re affirmed my disappointment but pretty much a none plused reaction , the lady asked for my email address and I assumed maybe I would get a compensation for this but nothing had arrived , hey ho wont be returning to this hotel and be careful and check outside your window for industrial air conditioning units 😥

We stayed for 3 nights at the Limehouse Library Hotel and wanted to try and give a balanced review based on our stay. The easiest way to manage this is to do it in list form, so here goes: The Good • Well situated within easy reach of Limehouse DLR and rail stations. • Very clean. • Nice selection of complimentary toiletries. • Friendly 24hr reception. • Secure to the point that it feels as if you have to swipe through every door both going in and out! • Nice view of the city. The Bad • No wardrobe – we stayed for 3 days and had nowhere to hang our clothes. • The only mirror in the rooms are in the bathroom, and they’re high up above the basin (the receptionist informed us that none of their rooms have an additional mirror). • Our room (and all on our wing) sided on to the DLR line, therefore train noise is an issue up until very late evening and from very early morning. • No blackout curtains as advertised. • Room fridge wasn’t working the whole time we were there. • Selection of Teas & Coffee’s, but only 2 tiny cartons of milk provided. • Breakfast is way too expensive at £20 per person, we walked up the road a bit and found Franks Café, it has a 5 star hygiene rating, and we paid less than £20 for both of us! The Unsightly • The paint on the ceiling in our bathroom was flaking away. • Socket for the heated towel rail had detached from the wall presenting a potential electrical hazard. • Sealant at the foot of the shower between the floor

Overall good hotel but the AC was next to worthless. My friend in a different room said the same. It barely blew air and was not really cold. Also, housekeeping entered the room twice while I was sleeping after an early check in. I’d still stay there again though as long as it isn’t hot weather

This is a concept hotel with each room themed after a historical figure. We were given the Ada Lovelace room, and whilst the decor was lovely, I think the rugs needed to be stuck down better as when I was rolling my suitcase it was getting stuck on the rug edges. Other than that, the bed was lovely and comfy, clean and soft sheets, the ability to chromecast your device to the TV was cool, and the bathroom was clean, plenty of towels (even a robe!) and the shower was nice and spacious and powerful. The buffet/continental breakfast was very nice, several options to choose from. I made the most and had a 'full' english (beans, eggs, mushrooms, etc), some cereal and some seasonal fruits. They even had oat milk! Also situated very close to Limehouse DLR station which is very convenient as this line goes to Bank which links to several tube lines. Overall, very happy with my stay.

This boutique hotel has a lot of cute trinkets, unique paintings, and thoughtful design touches that gave it a lot of character. It definitely has a warm, artistic vibe that stands out from typical chain hotels. My room was located on the 4th floor, but be aware that the elevator only goes up to the 3rd. I had to carry my luggage up another floor from stairs, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have large suitcases. I’d recommend requesting a room on a lower floor if mobility or luggage is your concern. The location is great, very convenient for sightseeing. It’s close to the Tube and C2C train station, with a bus stop just around the corner. I also felt safe walking around the area even in the evening, which is a big plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I was not happy about was the weak Wi-Fi signal in my room. It made staying connected a bit frustrating, especially when trying to plan activities or check travel details. Overall, it’s a lovely, cozy place with lots of personality, just make sure you pack light or plan accordingly if you're not on one of the lower floors.

Beautiful building and comfortable room but, room smelt of bad drains, no black at blinds as stated, TV did not work, 2 tiny milks for your tea and coffee. Got back to the hotel at 1030pm went for a drink in the bar, barman not happy about having people to serve (told they were open till 11) he was already on wind down. No tonic for my gin, no soda. Had a glass of Luke warm white wine. Breakfast the next morning, we’ll save the £30 per head and go somewhere else. Really poor tea and coffee in those pump thermos flasks. The smallest amount of cooked food that they didn’t re plenish, bagels cut into quarters and rock hard just the tiniest amounts of everything out and not particularly good quality either. Got back to the hotel at 1030pm went for a drink in the bar, barman not happy about having people to serve (told they were open till 11) he was already on wind down. No tonic for my gin, no soda. Had a glass of Luke warm white wine. Breakfast the next morning, we’ll save the £30 per head and go somewhere else. Really poor tea and coffee in those pump thermos flasks. The smallest amount of cooked food that they didn’t re plenish, bagels cut into quarters and rock hard just the tiniest amounts of everything out and not particularly good quality either. Great location for the Troxy as we were going to a gig. Basically a great hotel very quirky and I would stay again however. Upon checking in the person a gentlemen was somewhat…..I can not think of the correct adjective but a bit pompous. He asked for ID now I don’t have a problem with being asked for ID it just took me by surprise as I do travel quite a lot in the uk and can’t remember the last time I was asked so I instinctively said oh I don’t think I have that on me (in the UK not some thing we older people necessarily carry on our person well I don’t anyway). It was his response with something like “well if you read the booking properly you would know” No need for it as it put my back up straight away.

Breakfast was varied, fresh and tasty. Hotel was quirky and very well designed. Loved the study room at the top, bar was comfortable and rooms spacious. Met the owner in the morning and he was very welcoming and spoke about how he went about designing this stunning hotel. Well done to him and caring team.

Got a lovely room (was Buddha inspired) the bathroom was beautiful. Although as I was asleep (with no clothes on) housekeeping decided to walk into my room before 12 PM checkout. Only an apology was made and no further comment after 2 employees checked and said they will get back to me. - never did. It’s a shame as the hotel was beautiful and I’d love to stay again but fear of being walked in on puts me off especially after being told I will receive an email correcting the mistake of housekeeping.

Nice hotel with quirky rooms and public areas but let down disappointing service. Arrived at 2.20 and was told “Your room isn’t ready, check in is at 3.” Fair enough but I felt like I’d done something wrong for arriving 40 minutes early. Judging by the other people grumbling in the bar I wasn’t the only one who felt like this. On our second day we got back at 6.45 to find that the room hadn’t been made up. I went to tell reception, no apology and was told that the rooms were cleaned between 2pm and 8pm but she would let housekeeping know. Went back after 15 minutes as there was still no sign, still no apology. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where you don’t get your room cleaned until 8pm! When we checked out we didn’t get thanked or asked if we’d had a nice stay. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I won’t be going back

This is a wonderful and quirky hotel - something out of the ordinary Each room themed differently, and there's a lot of history to be discovered if you have time to wander around the hotel Breakfast was excellent - A buffet breakfast that is not just the usual fare Only slight downgrade was the check-in process ... Everyone needed their own ID, and all were taken and painstakingly entered into the system. And then, at 3pm the rooms weren't ready so we had to wait a little, and then be showed to our rooms one room at a time (we weren't allowed to just go find them ourselves)

We loved the eccentric details in all the antiques and collectibles at Limehouse library hotel. Also we loved that the canary warf was a short walk away. However it did take some navigating to get around as London is so big and spread out. The location is quite a ways away from all the tourist spots. The uber ferry was wonderful to use and very scenic as well. Regarding the room, it was lovely and very comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent. It was a great location to explore parts of London we had not been to before and this could all be done on foot. Also easy access to Mile End Parkrun on the Saturday morning.

A very curious hotel. Rather far away from the central area costing around 30 minutes travel by cab under train or bus. Discovered bus 15 from the city centre drops off right by the hotel. In hindsight we’d probably prefer to pay an additional GBP 50-100 per night for a fully central hotel. But overall, a lovely hotel, well appointed, great service and wonderful fittings

Unique, quirky boutique hotel in East End London. A bit off the beaten path and not in the fanciest neighbourhood, but it's safe and friendly and the Limehouse DLR station is a short walk away which quickly connects you to the heart of the city. The hotel restaurant is excellent, or you can walk down along the canals to some fantastic restaurants by the Thames, or enjoy a pint in one of the many local pubs. If you are looking for something a little different in London, I would highly recommend.

The pictures on google and those on Instagram are very different to the reality. I can only describe it as going back in time in to your nannas attic. The whole place is full of trinkets, bizzare ornaments, china dolls, random kids toys. It was a conplete senses oberload and not in a good way! The breakfast wasnt great either, very limited and not a great variety.

It is apparent that a lot of thought went into decorating the rooms and I was super impressed with the cleanness of it. Breakfast was excellent and they also have a lovely roof terrace with bar. I would definitely recommend the hotel!

The hotel was really quaint and cool. It had a sweet charm but wasn’t dated at all. Breakfast was £20 per person which is a rip off, but other than that, the cost of the room itself was worth it.

Hotel and room was very clean. Bed was massive and very comfy. Bathroom was clean and fresh. Bad point was the breakfast. Its a buffet style and the food was just about warm. Sausages were all cut in half and looked revolting. The fresh fruit did not look very fresh at all. Bread was not fresh first day it was hard second day it was cold like it had been frozen. And for £20 per person you'd expect a lot better and fresher. I wont be staying again because of the breakfast.

The library is an amazing hotel. It's definitely 1 of a kind with the look, layout and vibe. The staff were also very polite and helpful. I found it a very convent location for getting to Tower Bridge and the London Stadium. The breakfast buffet also has something for everyone and I'd highly recommend it. If you're wanting to use the Turkish Bath or have massage / treatment then i'd highly recommend booking before you arrive as they're very popular and sell out quick.

A very well run and quite quirky hotel (decoratively). Rooms well laid out. Staff very helpful. I also agree, very nice breakfast and good value for London. Showers very powerful and hot, but not a very practical wall fitting (ie: water shot all over the place), easy to remedy I'm sure. Only slight concern was the railway noise. Earplugs may be needed if you're a light sleeper. All in all though, I enjoyed the hotel.
